Friendly staff, clean hotel/rooms, comfortable bed, refrig if you need it, spacious with plenty of desk room. Parking close to rooms. Quiet surroundings ensured a good night of sleep despite it being New Year's Eve!

I only bring this up as an option for market leadership to consider: offering healthier breakfast options. I prefer healthier food selections like organic fruit, organic whole fat yogurt (the only yogurt had fruit at the bottom- a sugar explosion), healthy fats like avocado, steel cut over instant oatmeal, pasture-raised eggs. Perhaps the hotel can offer a "Residence Plus" option for those willing to spend a little more without having to drive into downtown Columbia. For what this hotel advertised (and for the market it attracts), and for what is in the control of the staff on-site, it completely met my expectations. If you like all the benefits I mentioned and prefer the biscuits-gravy style of breakfast, you'll really enjoy your stay.

The STAFF! was amazing. The GM was remarkable, the front desk staff was always smiling (even when the front desk area was so HOT and even during Hurricane Debby) the breakfast staff were so polite, kind and cheerful...the staff was the definition of southern charm.

The front desk area in the evening seemed to have no air conditioning, the breakfast area was very warm each morning...but hey, we were in the middle of a hurricane, power outages, flooding so really, I'm not complaining.

I liked pretty much everything about the Amenities, Staff and location.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had to change rooms after getting settled in, I noticed the room was not clean properly. The Refrigerator still had food in it. The microwave had fingerprints all over it. The pull out bed/couch had bread crumbs in it. So I was given another Room and it was very nice and clean and comfy. But other than that ordeal everything else was Excellent!

The hotel and breakfast were very nice. The staff was quite pleasant as well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen and fireplace were a very nice touch.

The pool and hot tub were closed.The water pressure could be a bit better in the showers. Other than that, everything else was very good.

What I didn't like was most Residence Inn I have stayed in the past always have no railing around the bottom of bed that makes it's more convenient to use the Hoyer lift for my handicap husband, this particular one had the railing around the bed that was the only thing that didn't work so well with us.

Everyone that assisted me at the front desk was exceptionally great day and evening staff. Lolita, Johnathan made my experience great.

The rooms were super dark and had a very odd odor like a nursing home, they also weren’t very clean.

The layout of the property was convenient. I stayed in the two bedroom and it was spacious with a kitchen perfect for a family or group trip.

The fireplace didn’t work in the room and the breakfast was repetitive. The pool needed to be cleaned.

Nice rooms, excellent location. I came to see family and view some properties, in most cases I was only 15 minutes from the most of places I needed to get to. The free breakfast is nice! They have several different food options available.

There was some hair in the bathroom, in the shower, and on the floor behind the door in one of the bedrooms which made me question the cleanliness a bit.

The hotel is tucked away from the main roads and in a safe and quiet residential area. There are a number of restaurants and stores nearby if needed. The room was clean and updated to current standards:

The hotel staff was professional and courteous but not as welcoming as expected. It was difficult to contact or locate front desk staff at times.

The Breakfast was top notch food hot and appealing staff was excellent

The only complaint was the room smelled liked dogs had been in the room nothing against dogs I have one but the smell was strong had to use my inhaler
