Easy check-in, comfortable beds, reasonable breakfast and overall a welcoming environment. It was our first visit but we would plan to stay again in route to southern destinations.

Minor stress with getting a call saying the hotel was overbooked and we were being bumped to another location only to find that the other hotel did not have a suite like we reserved for our family of 5. Comfort Suites made it right for us but bumped someone else. I imagine juggling the right number of reservations to keep the hotel full is a challenge but being on the receiving end of that call after 15 hours in the car is no fun!!!

I’m not rating Comfort Suites because they overbooked & called us to say they sold our room. They own TRU Hilton next door and they got us an equivalent room there. TRU Hilton was wonderful (as I’m sure the comfort suites is as well). That area is great for a quick rest before continuing South. Very close to the highways & tons of gas stations/food etc …

Not the properties fault, but we arrived very late (3am) and were approached by a pan handler. We spoke to the front desk because he was sitting in their parking lot. By the time we came back out he was gone, but with our truck hauling my sons car and all of it packed with college supplies, the front desk attendant let us move our truck closer to the entrance “to be safe.” Parking lot is extremely well lit & I know this can happen anywhere so it really was nice of them to do that.

The property was well located with lots of food around it. It was clean and comfortable and spacious and had everything one would need in the road. Large suite, large bathroom. Mini fridge. Microwave. Nice TV on a swivel. I will definitely be seeking out Comfort Suites in the future. And anytime in Florence this is my pick.

Its popular so parking fills up fast if you arrive late at night.

Very clean, huge room, loved the comfort of the entire place.

Check in staff on the evening shift had no welcome feeling what so ever. She was very dry and seemed she hated to be at work or to even have a job. Did not instruct me on anything. Handed me my key and never mentioned what room I would be in or even how to get to my room.

The two ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful with helping us get checked in early because we were there for the race that started at 3. I stay out of town a lot for luxury. I highly recommend it, if you are headed towards Florence or Darlington. Check out this hotel, you will be happy

Check in staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. A+. Proximity to numerous restaurants. Nice grounds and well-lit parking lot.

The HVAC unit fan in the room squealed each time it turned on. Elevator on left shook, shuttered, with a noticeable delay before door opened. After one ride, always waited for elevator on the right. Ice machine on 3rd floor did not work.

I enjoyed the friendliness, the good vibes received from every hotel associate was very welcoming. I was remembered from a previous trip and I was impressed,. I felt like a family member here. I really enjoyed the refreshing iced lemon water . Absolutely refreshing.

Items were a little pricey in the convenience area.

Breakfast and location was good.

Water from shower head is broken, water sprays on floor. Room temp didn't get warm enough at first,cool air kept blowing. Had to turn up the temperature to about 77 so room could be warm enough.

I enjoyed my stay. The girls enjoyed our stay as well. We appreciated the peace and quiet. They were able to enjoy the pool alone.

I feel as though the price was a little elevated for it to be a hotel in Florence, SC. The prices were like a tourist attraction prices.

Beds where comfortable. Room was large for family of 6 adults. If with small children 7. T.V good working condition, everything organized and nice. Bathroom lovely. Air conditioning working strong in room can control yourself. Wifi great. Breakfast was delicious. Has pool. Has washing machine if need to wash clothes. Lots of parking.

Hallway of hotel has no air conditioning. But everything is clean and nice. They had fans running. Washing machine only 1 drier and 1 washer. Pool not to big, area was a mess from other families resently used. We still enjoyed it, but not enough towels and we left after another group family come. Pool needs maintance to keep clean. Breakfast needs to be more time was short from 6:30 to 9:30. Many family come down making line. Not enough eggs, bacon or sausage for them. I went down early so I got what I needed but my family told me there was barely nothing left. Now the bathroom in the room when flushing water did not fill tank fast enough. So I had to live it alone and go back later to flush when it was full. Was very slow in filling.
