We loved the beach access! Also, plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff was so friendly, and our maintenance concern was quickly resolved.

Our drain was clogged upon arrival, but maintenance took care of it immediately. Otherwise, I think the rooms could use some air fresheners. Not the worst thing ever, but would've been nice.

The location is right on the beach. The room is small but perfectly nice. The hotel is elongated towards the beach so most rooms will have an angled but good ocean view from the 3rd (top) floor wraparound balcony. In March it is perfectly quiet clean and angelically peaceful so none of the noise complaints I saw on Booking were remotely possible. There is parking for $10 a day + tax, they match the city rate, $25 weekends. Free beach towels, large and plenty. There is both underground and outdoor parking possible.But you should be aware there are many nice hotels in Mt Pleasant peninsula at half the price, a very short drive away. Also a short drive to Charleston.

Be aware that on the second floor, right side, there is a building next door, so zero view of the beach. There is free breakfast, but it's cold boiled eggs from the supermarket and cereal, and two pancakes machines which make tasty food but are on the fritz repeatedly. But breakfast at the Seaside Cafe in walking distance is good. Also note the window is very small, so no such thing as lying in bed looking out at the beach view. There are two of large rooms with glass doors facing the beach but the price about 50% more.

Excellent location and good value for the money. Nearby bars restaurants and on the beach.

Everything was good. Short walk to the beach, close to all the good food and places to have fun.

The only issue we had was finding a place to park in the main lot on Friday/Saturday nights when the Windjammer/Dinghy are packed.

Property is nice updated older property but a great stay! Angel was awesome, she upgraded us to a balcony view of IOP and gave us champagne/goodies for our honeymoon! We came in for Thanksgiving to visit family and this was so close to their house, definitely staying again!

Lights outside of room on balcony don’t work so at night when you get back it is dark since you are right on the beach. Other than that amazing!

I like the friendliness of the staff and the Maze were very nice and helpful. Really nice location too with good restaurants close by

I didn't like the fact that the stairwell going from the first to second floor on the side was blocked and you couldn't use the stairs. That's actually against fire code if there's a fire you're not supposed to use an elevator supposed to use the stairs

Staff were super nice and the location unbeatable. Great breakfast included with a touch-less pancake maker! Amazing restaurants located next door and across the street for great lunches and dinners! The beach was steps away and gorgeous ❤️ And the bed in the new room was super comfy!!

First night we were in a non-updated room. The bed was to soft for me and the toilet leaked onto the floor. The next morning we were moved to another room and realized some rooms are NICELY updated!! They said they are working to update them all.

Our stay was excellent. The Inn showed some age, but we expected that and based on price it was a great value. Everything was very clean, bed was very comfortable, and staff were great. We had overlooked that they offered a continental breakfast, so that was an extra bonus. The Inn is on the beach with its own walk way, and it is right in the center of the various shops and restaurants on the island. Room size was more that ample, bathroom was fine, nice big walk in shower and plenty of hot water, and everything was very clean. Will be back for sure.

The elevator door sticks , but luckily we learned the trick to make it work. My husband wasn't able to use the stairs due to a foot surgery and we were on the third floor. Once we learned how to make it work, everything was great
