This is my second stay at this hotel. Very clean. Great location. Breakfast is good.

This is not a complaint but an observation. Where is the southern hospitality? Both ladies that worked the front desk while I was there didn't even look at you or smile when you walk in the door, walk past the desk, etc. They're so busy looking at their phone or computer and have headphones on. It's as if they're deliberately trying to not make eye contact. You literally have to stand in front of them and wave at them to get their attention. All of the young gentlemen that worked the desk while I was there were friendly and pleasant and at least gave you a smile.

I took my 11 year old & his friend for a mini vacation. I booked a queen bedroom suite. It felt like we were in a 1 bedroom apartment. The lounging area was large with a nice small kitchen. I was able to sleep in as needed with the door that closed off the bedroom. I could see how this would be a great place to stay of extended for various reasons. I saw several pets, which showed me that the establishment is very pet friendly. All of the staff were amazing & very welcoming. It felt as if we were coming home to our own little condo every evening. We all enjoyed breakfast every morning. I absolutely loved the location because it was very quiet. We did have a short drive to downtown Charleston to visit the market and tour the city. Although we weren't right in the city, I enjoyed the peace and calmness of the Hyatt House in Mt Pleasant. I will definitely be staying again & again. This place helped us have an amazing time with much needed time away from home after suffering a traumatized loss last year.

We loved the variety of offerings for breakfast. The front desk staff was always friendly and happy to answer our questions. Dominique was amazing! All staff was courteous and welcoming. The hotel was clean and tidy.

We were surprised by the number of travelers that brought their pets. We did not have any issues with that it was just surprising to us. There was one night that a dog barked until about 10pm. That we did not like.

Very clean in all areas, king bed was huge and comfortable, great shower and products, fluffy towels, friendly staff. Plentiful breakfast - tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, juices, iced water, fruit, cereals, variety of bread products, yoghurts, muffins, made to order omelettes and cooked items, day one was French toast sticks, sausages, potato patties and scrambled eggs, day 2 was sausage patties, hash browns, Canadian ham and scrambled eggs.

Nothing we didn’t like!

I love having cooking facilities on a longer road trip. This was a well-equipped kitchen so we could even cook dinner there if desired. The car park was free and it was easy to find a park. Mt. Pleasant has its own things to see plus access to Historical Charleston is a 10 minute drive and car parking there wasn't a problem and not too expensive for the day. This Mt Pleasant apartment turned out to be far better value than a downtown stay.

This isn't a 'walkable' location to the historical downtown area of Charleston.

Convenient to major highway, safe neighborhood, quiet atmosphere all day and all night

The breakfast…My husband and I are not fussy eaters, but neither of us enjoyed the scrambled eggs, burnt potatoes or greasy sausage patties. We were disappointed as were other guests we spoke to in the dining area who obviously were not enjoying eating what they had put on their plates. Plus there was a tip jar in the open area where you could see into the kitchen. We’ve never seen that before in any hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

I always enjoy hyatt breakfast and I love how the rooms are laid out, it’s like your own apartment.

The only complaint I have is that we saw probably a handful or two of bugs in our room. Not a huge deal but just something to note. Other than that no issues at all.

Centrally located, close to Charleston and other attractions, and 15 mins to Isle of Palm & Sullivan Island beaches. Breakfast was good, staff are all pleasant. Our bedroom suite is roomy with full kitchen including full size fridge, microwave & dishwasher. The bathroom is big with good size mirrors. The beds are comfortable and have separate thermostats from living room. Hotel have laundry which is essential after a day in the beach.

This was the best hotel breakfast ever! Three days in a row it was great. The staff on every shift was so friendly and helpful. The places was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect to get you the tennis tournament and into Charlestown to sightsee.

Other than breakfast there's no other meal available. There are no restaurants in walking distance. There were microwavable meals to purchase but the hotel has such great space that a low key deli/grill would be awesome!

My only comment for future hotel guests is that breakfast finishes on different time during the weekend (10:00 a.m) than during the week (9:00 a.m.) which caused us to miss breakfast on Monday morning and we were not the only ones missing it. Ladies in the kitchen/breakfast area were very nice and still made us the pancakes, even though kitchen was already closed. This is the only little thing that could have been better communicated at check in.
