It was nice and in a good area close to downtown area and close to food places

Pond that was next to parking lot was noisy at night time and smelled little bit

Clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed Went to the beach one day and to a plantation and Patriots Point the next very closeby

The double beds were a little small

Check-in was great and staff very nice. They do hold a $60 deposit until you check out and they see no damage. Room was very clean even though it was older and had obvious diy repairs. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was similar to what other hotels offer(cereal, muffins, danish, waffles, canadian ham, scrambled eggs, bagels, milk, juices, etc. I can say the scrambled eggs were very tasty. They were fluffy and tasted like they were made in a little butter. The pool was clean and refreshing on a hot day.

We had to carry the small coffee maker to a useable outlet as the one behind the cabinet it was sitting on was in use for the tv and a light. Also, we would have had to move the cabinet out to get to it and we didn’t want to run the risk of the tv falling over. We ended up placing it on the vanity outside the bathroom and then moving it back on the cabinet when done. Worked out okay.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and location is perfect for going to beach or any of the historic attractions. Pet friendly and breakfast was always hot and ready!

The price was great! The location was in a nice area, and breakfast was good.

When we arrived there was a gentleman with a fully loaded luggage cart outside the building. I helped him load some items that fell off the cart. I quickly became aware that it appeared he was homeless. He was hanging around the hotel for multiple days with his cart of random things. At one point I went to see about using the pool, but he was outside the door in a verbal argument with another “friend” of his. This made me and my daughter feel unsafe and also not wanting to use the facilities. Unfortunately, this interaction influenced my feeling about my whole stay.

The location was excellent. Short drive over the bridge to the historic area. Near Boone plantation and Patriot naval maritime. Also Trader Joes, whole foods, and dining options close by. Parking lighting issue commented by others was ok. I saw lights poles all the way to the back in the parking lot, but we were able to get parking near the entry each time, even at 8:00pm at might. Room was quiet on the top floor. Good variety of breakfast options (yogurt, waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, grits, cereal, juice, milk, coffee), Did not seem too busy at the hotel during our stay. Is it low tourist season in May?

Nothing. Good basic accommodations.

Room was clean and comfortable. A/C worked great (it is getting warm in Charleston). Location was perfect for our needs - close enough to downtown, easy access to get to Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, and back to interstate. Also, not right on HWY 17, so it is also quiet!

Breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:30am, but when we went down at 8:45am, nothing much was left and nothing being restocked - in fact, she began putting things up at 9am, even though people were still coming down for breakfast. Either restock and keep breakfast out until the posted times or update the signage and let people know breakfast ends at 9am. We were able to eat, but saw many others who did not.

The location was perfect and made it easy to catch a Lyft into the city to explore without worrying about parking.

The walls aren't super well insulated and then when the room next door decided to have a party we called down to reception 3 times and nothing was done about it which was frustrating hearing it at 11pm. We were grateful it wasn't going to ruin our holiday as we didn't have young children or major plans the next day but was very frustrating and something should have been done the first time we called, and then escalated the second time where as we called 3 times and still had no action.

Perfect stay! The pool is small but comfortable with the right amount of shade and sun. Perfect for hanging out and lounging! Rooms are clean, beds comfortable (alittle small side for 2 but functional), refrigerator, microwave, and air all worked excellent. Allows dogs and has a great place to walk them. Within 10 miles of all paces you want to be. Staff was super friendly and did a great job taking care of us for 5 days. Breakfast is eggs, meat, fruit, muffins, yogart, cereal, juice, coffee, and toast. The basics and it works. You get more than you pay for here! Would definitely stay again!

The bathroom space was a little weird in our room. Toliet and shower behind a pocket door and sink outside of it. Made it a little difficult to share a room to dress without doing it in the shower, but you can definitely make it work for the price and cleanliness of the place

Location was great. Front desk was very personable and helpful with recommendations for restaurants.

Parking lot felt a little unsafe. Lots of people lurking around, sitting in running cars, sitting on curbs, in the backs of pickups. Very strange.
