The entire staff was wonderful. They always wanted you to fee comfortable all the time and they were so accommodating. The location is in the middle so it was close to downtown as well as a 20 minute or so ride to the beach. There are several beaches to choose from to. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when we visit Charleston, SC.

The only negative thing was that the toilet was a little too close to the counter so the lid did not stay up. That was the only negative comment.

It was in a very convenient area! Everywhere was either a 10-40 minute drive for us. The beach was a 10-20 minute drive. They provided small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a hair dryer (I didn’t use it). There was a small fridge for all your drinks, multiple plug in points for your phones and other devices, an alarm clock, and a working tv (not a smart tv). There was also a very delicious breakfast every morning and free cookies for the guest (I think my partner might like their cookies more than mine 😂). Rooms were cleaned everyday, toiletries were refilled, and towels were swapped for clean ones. There is also a pool and it was pretty nice to just chill there.

I honestly didn’t like the water pressure from the shower. You could change it, but I didn’t like the other settings. The vent in the bathroom didn’t really vent it well. The rooms are very small, kind of hard for two people to be walking around everywhere. The WiFi wasn’t really that good.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are so nice! Everyday the whole hotel smelled like good food and clean air in the common areas. They give out free cookies too! Everyone who works there has a smile on their face all the time. It's a good location too and the staff are very accommodating. I could not be happier with our stay.

The rooms feels a little damp and they could use some TLC in certain areas but if you tell the staff they will fix it for you immediately.

The staff on shift was amazing. We arrived earlier than expected and instead of making us wait until checking at 3 pm, he said, " Ma'am, your room is already ready so you can check in right now." This is very unusual. Oh, he gave us unlimited freshly baked cookies. The breakfast was exceptional. This hotel will be our home away from home since our child is now at The Citadel.

I didn't like the fact that there were no dark curtains. I can't sleep in a lighted room.

The accomodating attitude of the hotel staff and even offering chocolates and cookies to my toddler, which is a plus factor to the hotel. Thanks alot❤️

maintenance issues with the water that I didnt expect to happen for a hotel. This is the first time that the hotel didnt have any water supply. Another thing, the fridge didnt work from the day of our arrival up to the end of our stay. The maintenance staff didnt even come to check on the fridge malfunction.

I am a disabled woman with a service dog and mobility issues and they were very accommodating to what I needed to have a easy early check in. They offer you a hot breakfast from 6am to 11am the eggs that I got were dried out and my dog wouldn't even eat them and the sausage was edible my diet is high protein I don't eat breads or such they also offer coffee and yogurt cereal and juice. It was quiet and I felt safe I would stay here again in the future they have a small swimming pool and it was closed for my stay. I am a picky traveler I was able to contact management any time threw email and that was nice to use setting up my stay manager dev patel was professional and kind.

LOVE the location and the staff is always so friendly! The pool was always so nice and never crowded. The employees are the nicest people and always eager to accommodate whatever your needs are. It's nice to have breakfast just downstairs.

The pool wasn't as clean as it usually has been when we've stayed in the past, but it wasn't horrible.

always a blessing to stay here on our beach vacations, the staff is so kind and amazing. i can’t thank you guys enough for how kind you were to my little boy. please take my advice if you’re reading this and ignore every single bad review about this place. it is the BEST, i look forward to staying here each year!

Safe area & within walking distance to Patriots Point sites. Breakfast was good & varied each day, which is nice. Staff put out warm Chocolate Chip cookies throughout the day. A nice touch.

No fitness room. Rooms with guests who were not checking out that day were last to be made up. Resulted in my room not being made up by the time I returned from sight-seeing at 3 pm. I opted not to have the room serviced that day.

All staff very nice. Facility very clean. Room spotless. Some upgrades. Great omelet for breakfast. Housekeeping does a great job. Cookies in lobby too hard to avoid, soooo good.

The switch plates in the bathroom were painted over and it was wearing away. Replacing them would great increase the rooms upgrades. Price less than others but didn't fit age of property.
