This was a great place to stay after a long ride back from Mont Tremblant. I booked it last minute and was lucky to find something so close to the shuttle bus station—just about a 4-minute walk. The room was small, but clean and cozy, which was perfect for us since we were checking out early the next morning. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were quite fluffy and we slept well. The bathroom was also clean and in good condition. Having a receptionist on site was a big plus, especially since we were checking in late. Breakfast was decent—enough to start the day—but I didn’t really enjoy the coffee. Overall, it’s a solid budget option if you need a convenient and comfortable place to rest.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable, not fancy but everything functioned well . A/C worked well and there was a fan to circulate air, which made sleeping very comfortable. There was also a mini fridge (not expected). Although not a fancy neighborhood, parking was reasonable and across the street, and located under a primary bus and subway terminal (very handy for getting around). Also, we enjoyed visiting the Latin Quarter nearby, and even attended a Jazz festival. Finally, there was an inclusive Continental breakfast that was simple but well provisioned.

Given the price point, I would say this was one of the best values for the money I have had in a while. If you need a pool, exercise room etc. or a fancy view then this is not your place. If you're looking for basics and value, then this venue is great.

Very clean, comfortable bed, recently renovated bathroom with a very nice shower, plenty of towels. The room was simple but cozy, ample space for one person and a small suitcase. I felt safe staying there as a woman traveling alone. The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. It was exactly what I was looking for and great value for money.

The plumbing in the building is a little loud, which took me a bit to adjust to, but there's not much you can do about that in an older building! The room felt a little dark, it would have been nice to have a lamp next to the bed instead of only on the desk.

The staff is super friendly, helpful and very professional. The room is very clean and the bed and linens very comfortable. The hotel location is unbeatable, right behind the Bus Terminal and one block away from St. Denis street which is full of bars and restaurants. Also 20 min walk from downtown or Old Montreal. The breakfast is very decent with a variety of fresh fruit, bread, muffin, bagels, yoghurt, cheese, coffee, juice, cereal and milk.

I had no problems at all during my stay. I did notice the hotel indoor sound isolation is rather low, but most hotel buildings in the area would be quite similar and if you only need a place to crash for the night, the value for the price is great.

The reception staff were very helpful and the information provided was useful during our stay. We had a fridge in our room and used the microwave in the breakfast room. The hotel is open 24/7 and there is a parking spot outside, which is very handy for taxis as the road is busy. In spite of this our front room was quiet. There is a shopping centre close by and the bus station is within walking distance.

The bathroom fan came on whenever the light was turned on but the room steamed up when I had a shower. The breakfast room is not very large and the seating is quite high so we took our food back to our room.

Location: 3-4 minute walk to Berri-UQAM subway station— I have direct talk with only one turn. Renovated: The room looked like it had fairly new tile, carpet, bed, pillows, furniture, bathroom sink, and toilet. The bed was comfortably firm with superb pillows. Staff: friendly and professional, wanting to please you. Breakfast: The breakfast was the same every day: bread you could toast (White and multi grain), bagels, two kinds of cereal, milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, yogurt, apples, bananas, maybe some other beverage I can’t remember. Butter, peanut butter, Nutella, cream cheese, and jams are available every day. I was pleased. They advertised a cold breakfast, so my expectations were met. Common areas: although the building is old, the breakfast nook was updated.

There’s really nothing I was very displeased with, but if I hadn’t been a solo traveler, The creaky floor and creaky bathroom door might have been a problem when one of us had to go use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We would’ve bothered each other. The bathroom door had to be lifted up a little on one side to fit in the door frame to close it. These things didn’t bother me a bit since I was traveling alone.

The location, staff and price were excellent. The breakfast was as a breakfast should be- bread, bagels, a toaster, yogurt, cheese, cereal, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Well done, EconoLodge. The bed was comfortable, beddings were nice and the bathroom was well stocked with a good amount of towels and soaps. It was VERY clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend and stay again.

The front lobby and halls could use some refreshing.

The room was quite basic, but I managed to secure a good rate by booking a few months in advance. Breakfast offerings included croissants, muffins, bread, cereal, and the essentials, along with a good coffee. The nearest metro station was just a 7-8 minute walk away. The reception service was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were quick.

The neighborhood isn’t the best; there’s a significant homelessness issue, especially downtown, which has worsened since the pandemic. Regardless of the room you choose, the view isn’t impressive. Across the street stands an abandoned building covered in graffiti.

Breakfast was fairly good, the automated coffee machine is quite impressive, although just 3 tables in the breakfast area..

The particular room design is not very practical (for example, the cloths hangers were squeezed above the fridge - no way to use them, while the bathroom is just gorgeous in size). 15-20 minutes walk from McGill University, yet very vague parking options, which is a key in proximity to downtown.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and we'll kept. No plumbing complaints. Room was fresh, cool and compact. Good value for the money Enjoyed the Breakfast selection and good coffee options.

Just a little bit too far from Convention ctr. 15 blocks away on a sunny day is o.k. good location for shopping. But on longer working days closer is always better.
