A VERY VERY rude desk attendant. She was a light skinned African-American that wore bifocal glasses. She was SO rude at check in and during occasions just walking through Lobby she was over heard gossiping very loudly about whom ever she was speaking about to another young lady. This person does not need to be in Customer Service. The other Attendants were very nice.

The staff are very friendly, the hotel is clean, and the rooms are very cozy.

I stayed here over a week and the housekeepers never offered to clean my room. I also had to go meet the housekeepers to get fresh linen. I stayed for 3 days the week of Jan. 23rd, and to this day, still haven't recieved my deposit. I asked 2 desk clerks about it, but no one was able to tell me why I get my deposit back. $50 just gone.

My room was enormous (2 king bed, suite/sofa, small kitchen w sink and small fridge) for just me. The rooms are VERY nice compared to what you'd expect from the outside of the hotel. Don't be put off by the front, don't judge a book by its cover.

The location is a little dodgy, but I guess you can't really fault the hotel for that. However, geographically, the Westchase area is just a hop, skip, and a short Uber from all the going out areas in Houston, so there's that. There's also a great Mexican restaurant/dance hall right next door so that's convenient. They need to fix their elevator buttons, it makes the hotel look really bad.

During Friday morning checkout, there wasn't anybody at the front desk or lobby.

Bed felt amazing. My girlfriend loved the jacuzzi we def want to come back to spend 2 or 3 days soon

it is an old hotel but still good if you are going for a night

i think they have short staff because me and another few guests that arrive after 12:00 am we wait for 20-30 min to be assisted for the front office, even though i let them know in advance

The room was clean with all you need even a little fridge, personal is helpful and it has a good location if you're moving around west and the city center. Its a really good option and you get what you pay for.

Out dated rooms, old furniture, caulk everywhere, cracked ceiling in bathroom, elevators raggedy, and nothing like pictures or any other Quality Inn I’ve ever stayed at as this is my preferred hotel branch. Definitely needs updating.
