The staff and owner were both extremely helpful. We were concerned about being cold and were offered a blanket and advised on how to adjust the vents. It was extremely comfortable in our room and I enjoyed exploring the property looking for spirits. I was surprised at how quiet it was since it was an older building. Will definately visit again as we did not get much time in the city and there was some things we would like to see.

Only place open Sunday eve for dinner was a tavern and soda fountain with miminamal food Choices. Best place to eat was out on the highway at Don Juan Mexican restuarant. It was excellent but not really in keeping with Jefferson style

The manager was very involved with keeping us comfortable regarding the temperature of the hotel . She also made sure we had a coffee maker for the morning since it does not come automatically with the room and we are early risers. and look for breakfast before their usual breakfast schedule.

We booked a smaller room so there wasn't space for a desk so we could use the laptop. We set up the luggage rack to do that job.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of updated modernity and comfort. The owners respect their property and guests. The coffee bar-and-front-desk made a good cappuccino (even if it was really more of a cafe au lait, but who's nitpicking...). The staff was patient (very) and friendly.

It's an old building with old building bones. The walls and doors are thin, the floors and doors creak - loudly. The hotel will only be as quiet as the people in it are trying to be. If you're expecting your room to envelope you in a zone of silence the moment you shut the door, you might be disappointed. The 8 score is directly related to this singular issue in the interest of honesty to future visitors and nothing else - if the hotel ambient noises could be magicked away, this hotel's score would approach 10.

There is a coffee shop but not a full breakfast. We went to The Outpost and had an excellent breakfast.

The town only had one place open (The Outpost) at 7 a.m. The rest of the town did not open up until 9 or 10 a.m. We had gotten up at 5:30 a.m.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. The location was great as we were near everything we wanted to do while in town.

The only problem with our rooms was that it was too cold and we didn't have access to the thermostat. The hotel is controlled with one thermostat and only one person can adjust it.

The Executive Suite was very nice and spacious. I especially enjoyed the historic nature of the property.

The property across from the hotel hosted a party that ran until about 4 a.m. For someone looking for the quiet of a small town setting this was totally unexpected.

The manager was friendly and very kind. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. Cute hotel and coffee shop. Great location to historic downtown, restaurant, and shops.

Our was very cold but it's better to be cold than hot. We stayed during a heat advisory. It was a little noisy because of the age of the hotel but we never heard anyone after 10:00.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our apartment suite was beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed to make ourselves at home.

The jacuzzi didn't work the first night, but the next day it worked just fine. Also there are no grab bars in the shower or near the tub.

Authenticity and high ceilings were delightful. Excellent coffee for guests from the on site coffee shop. Original floors were spectacular.

Tricky parking on a very busy day. A couple of the outlets didn’t work. Would recommend a blackout curtain over the transom window to make the room darker for sleeping.
