The property is located off a scenic highway with all of the cabins facing the mountain ridge. They had chairs and a chair swing outside to relax and enjoy a sunset or sunrise. There was mini golf, a bbq, and a fire pit which makes this an awesome place to stay with kids. The office had smore's kits as well as free coffee, and a ton of drinks and snacks for purchase. The cabins were comfortable and clean.

The distance from the property to zion ntl park was about 36min each way which is a little time consuming when you're traveling there and back everyday during your stay. Originally, the site said it was about 15min to zion. But... if you want to be away from the tourists and hotel vibe this is a perfect place to stay. Also not all of the cabins have a bathroom inside which I didn't know when booking so thankfully they had a cabin available that had one within.

Very friendly staff at check in. Super nice cabin, she gave us good deal on upgrade to luxury cabin. Well worth i. We were able to cook meals inside in cold windy days. And it had full bathroom. Nice laundry area in main office too. Free coffee every day and beautiful view. Very quiet. Only thing to note was that the cabin had quite a bit of dirt under couch and bed, so being charged quite a bit for extra clean for pet doesn't seem right when it's dirty anyway when you look close. I had vacuum and I also scrubbed the kitchen clean.

Fantastic! The cabins are perfect, the location is perfect, and they are PET FRIENDLY! I have a large dog - mastiff, american building and pit bull mix... 85lbs... and my options are limited while traveling with him because so many places discriminate. I ended up staying at Gooseberry because I saw a review and the lady posted a photo of her pit bull... so I knew this was the right place to stay. I originally booked three nights and ended up extending my stay an extra night. I saw other large dogs, owners all super responsible and there was so much space to walk them and pick up after them. I couldn't be happier with Gooseberry Lodges and am already planning my return trip. If you're a large dog owner of bully breeds, you know that "pet friendly" is not always the case. I'm so happy to report that Gooseberry Lodges is VERY pet friendly and me and my dog felt very welcome!

Small but cozy cabin. Heater warmed it up in minutes. Great place for stars gazing and grill/barbecue. Check in/check out is fully remote if you arrive late and leave early, which is convenient. In the "office" cabin you can buy firewood/coal and other staff for grill; some snacks and beverages are also available + free of charge you may use cutlery and pans. Toilet and shower are outside and shared, but we were lucky since our cabin was very close to common space. Great place near Zion national park which we used to rest before going to Las Vegas.

Good location, cute cabins, and perfect for an overnight stay if you're on the road and on the national parks trail. Check in was very easy and convenient especially if you're arriving late, and the reception cabin is also stocked with the essentials that you may need on the road (self-pay), or for your stay there such as a morning cup of coffee.

As the bathrooms/toilets are shared, would highly recommend if cleaning equipment could be stocked there so guests can clean up after themselves and maintain cleanliness of the shared facilities.

This cabin was perfect for my family's trip to Zion. We had all he comforts of a cabin, comfy bed, kitchenette, bathroom and shower, and space which we had the beauty of the outdoor resources like the fire pit, picnic table and bbq, playground for the kids, pickel ball court, and mini golf! I would DEFINITELY come back, it's about a 45 minute drive to Zion National Park. We got the king sized cabin and it was perfect for us mom, dad, and kids ages 12, 9, and 5.

The cottages are beautiful. We stayed in a cottage with bathroom facilities. The bed was comfortable. The ac worked fine and the views from the cottage were amazing. Loved the firepit, picnic bench and hammock. There were smallest details that were taken care of. The office carried all the necessary items than u can borrow or purchase. We had few minor issues which were handled promptly and professionally by the management.

Distance to the Zion national park. Took 45 minutes to get there.

Beds were huge, firm, and perfect after a long day playing .. great views, office open all night for supplies amd snacks, bench out in the firepit to lay amd look at the stars

Everything was perfect.. only thing I may add. On the sheet hanging on the door with rules and notes.. maybe a map where the showers and bathrooms are (I have social anxiety and was already super stressed and didn't want to have to go hunt) And maybe the 11am check out time also on the sheet. It was super affordable considering 20min up the road rooms were 300+ a night. And I was able to check in with a keycode This place is great

Super cute with fun amenities like pickle ball, corn hole & a fire pit. Each cabin has a picnic table, BBQ grill & hammock chair & even a bike rack.

No super clean...the details like corners & baseboards + there was a greasy hot plate with crusted food on it. Linens & bathroom were freshly cleaned though. We also weren't aware the 2nd queen bed was going to be a mattress on the floor in a loft.

Provided a good break from regular hotel stays. Lodge was fairly basic in terms of setup but everything you needed (pans, kettle, toaster, plates, cutlery, etc) was available from the communal office on site (always open). All lodges have own porch, bbq, outdoor table/seating. Pickleball free to use. No staff on site but always available via ‘Ring’ video doorbell to assist/answer queries.

No hand basin in bathroom (essentially use the kitchen sink)
