We booked this very last minute having found that our previous accomodation we had made an error on dates. But within 15 mins we had arranged this accomodation and were settled in. The property is certainly good value for money and good facilities. We found the laundry especially useful. We were warmly welcomed and the gentleman at the desk very friendly and helpful. The motel is really well situated for the centre of town. You can walk or there is a tram a couple of blocks away that takes you into Temple Sq for free.

At first I was concerned because it's literally a gated hotel, but it's absolutely secure. I even saw another guest who was a mountain-biker and he had his bikes on the back of his truck overnight. I will admit there are some homeless people in the area, but again the property is fenced and I never once felt unsafe. I took my dog for a walk in the neighborhood, and even walked to the gas station down the street after dark. I've stayed in worse hotels for more money--this one surely exceeded my expectations. Also in a nice central location -- if you don't walk to the park, it's a short drive--just google map it. :) Needless to say, they accept dogs and the nightly fee is affordable. Everything in the room, the lobby and the breakfast area seemed new, like they recently remodeled. It was great. Really quality service and facility. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly not much. I enjoyed my stay.

The location was ideal. I was close to work and all the stores were nearby. I loved being able to enjoy the pool since we were having a dreadful heatwave

The floor in the room was dirty. There were cockroaches, live and dead. I don't know how much that could be controlled. They seemed to be everywhere outside. I was the most disappointed with the laundry facilities. The room itself was not clean. I has to wipe down all the machines before I would use them. The dryers didn't dry the clothes if they were used at the same time. I did figure that out after restarting the drying cycle. As long as one dryer ran by itself it functioned fairly well. I would have really pitched a fit about it if the one washer didn't give free washes. That seemed like an even trade. One more thing. I still haven't gotten my deposit back yet. I left the room cleaner than it was when I arrived

Always liked this place we stay here every time we go to salt lake. The price is perfect. Better than a motel 6 or super 8 and others that are the same price. Trust me we have stayed at a lot of other hotels that are around the same price in salt lake and they are bad compared to this hotel. The staff is also very friendly. Plus I love the gated parking.

I would only say the tv signal and channels. But it works ok. I’m sure they will be better soon

This hotel is exactly what I was expecting. The staff was nice, free parking, the room was clean (the room had a couple dinged up things), the walls are a little thin so not great if you're a light sleeper but for the price we couldn't complain. We were also traveling with our medium/large dog and their "pet fee" was the most reasonable compared to other hotels, and I called a lot of hotels... I didn't check out the breakfast but my boyfriend made waffles every morning and said it was pretty solid spread. Is it glamorous? No, but it fit our needs and we would stay again!

The neighborhood had a few shady characters, but I'm from a big city so it wasn't too bad. Just have your wits about you.

Great place to stay for a few nights in Salt Lake City! The room was clean and comfortable, and staff was super nice. The location is also great, and the gated parking means there’s nothing to worry about. I don’t understand why this place has such bad reviews. Maybe it used to be bad, but I’d totally recommend City Creek Inn and stay again the next time I’m in Salt Lake.

Maybe extend breakfast past 9am since that’s kind of early

We always stay here when we go to Salt Lake City it is perfect place to stay and relax.

I would like to see them center the TVs with the beds. It’s really hard to see the TV when your in the bed farthest from the TV. Especially in the two queen bed rooms. It would be simple to move the TV wall mount over or get a swivel TV mount.

We enjoyed the breakfast. The room and bed were comfortable, and that's what we look for. We were hoping to see a brochure or something for entertainment and activities in the area.

What we didn't like was while we were eating breakfast, we believe the manager was sitting at the front desk until one of the employees arrived. The manager was very rude and condescending to his employee and speaking very loud about the issues and mistakes that he had made. I feel that the manager should have taken the employee outside to speak with him, since there were a few other people eating breakfast at the same time we were.

It was pleasantly clean and smelled great. Its gated parking inside to get your room. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very nice and let us check in earlier.

I dont have any complaints other than the area that its in. A lot of homeless people that were around the area that made me a bit uncomfortable.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was very well done for the value! There was almost always coffee in the lobby, no matter the time of day!

It's an older motel, so there were some instances of it being worn, however I could see that they were beginning to renovate at the time of this review
