Near shopping area. Room clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, neat with good cutlery etc. Bathroom and shower/bath clean and well stocked with towels but only amenities for one night. Stayed 3 nights.Pleasant home like ambiance. The USB port on the clock radio didn`t work but the friendly staff replaced it promptly on request. Can highly recommend The Kimball to all who want a pleasant stay!!!

Amenities was only enough for one night while my stay was for 3 nights. The hairdryer was very small and not sufficient for long hair. It did not last however...

Absolutely superb location to stay in Salt Lake City! It is in city center, walking distance to everything, you do not have to move your car at all (parking available on site). Such a nice historical building, has so much charm. Our apartment was very comfortable, spotless clean. Good bathroom, with all the amenities, very good towels and linens. Small kitchen, with all I needed. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Loved the stay!

The location was right across the street from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Conference Center in Salt Lake City. It was also easy to walk to dinner, shopping and Temple Square area.

They had luggage carts, however there are some rooms that you could not get the cart to due to stairs and low ceilings. We were not happy with the Roku streaming as my husband could not watch some of his favorite sports teams play, nor could we watch General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out at certain times of the day. I reserved a king size bed and got one queen. That does not work for us.

Everything was clean and ready. We had a perfect view of the temple, though it was being renovated, but was still awesome. It is close to the Church History Center, a grocery store, and in a safe neighborhood. The location was perfect for our needs, close to the hospital, so we chose The Kimball. Our room was more like a mini home, rather than a hotel. It was almost the same as staying in an Airbnb. The staff was pleasant and friendly.

Though there is an elevator, there are stairs and ramps to get to our room. I wasn't aware of so many stairs; I am recovering from knee surgery, but the stairs were a good strengthening exercise. The air conditioner took a while to cool the rooms down, but it eventually worked well.

It's close to the temple and other church buildings. The property looks so clean and immaculate. Kitchen was equipped with every single utensil I was hoping to use. Brand new stove. Towels were thick and they smell fresh. Shower was a cascade of pure mountain rain. Though it's a condo for cooking and sleeping and lounging the room didn't have a smell at all and that's how well kept it was. Paintings and mirrors and red carpet in the hall make me feel like walking in Hollywood. Also, I have never seen a hotel that suits the color red like this one and even its name rings a bell. I am so lucky to have found this gem.

Just a couple of things. The headboard of the bed was loose and so was one end of the toilet seat as well.

The room was very clean and comfortable. We liked the separation between the living/kitchen area and the bedroom. The location was perfect for us and our intended reason for the trip.

We had some electrical issues. Some of the plugs and lights didn't work well. And we had a hard time adjusting the thermostat. We understand this is an older building and we did not express our concerns to the staff as we were able to work around the issues.

Nice location close by to the city center, good place for a salt palace convention center event. The staff is helpful always on time. The place was clean everything was in place.

Stated number of people is a bit over as all booking.com properties still plenty of space in the unit to accommodate. There is only one elevator and one entrance.

Very nice personal, the hotel was easy to find. The room was big and the bed was the biggest I had ever seen ! It was also very confortable. Special mention for the funny shower with two shower heads. There is also two layers of binds AND curtains, so you can almost sleep in the dark and not be woken up by dawn. The rest of the appliances were great !

The insulation is not great, considering it was not too hot outside and it still got warm enough for us to have to turn on the AC during the night.

The apartment was large and had everything we needed. It was a great location in downtown Salt Lake City. Our flight was cancelled for 24 hours and the hotel was great in arranging an additional nights accommodation. The new room was much better than our original and the bed was very comfortable.

The bed in the first room was a fold out and was very uncomfortable. The property is generally a bit tired and could use some renovating.

Stayed here before, which is why booked again. Normally, the location can't be any better, right downtown. But with the ongoing construction at Temple Square, you can't easily walk to the other side for breakfast, or even wander around the temple grounds. The Tabernacle is open, though. If you need to catch a plane, your drive to the airport is quick and easy. Big bonus -- free parking, didn't have any problem finding a spot. You can tell this is a very old property, carefully maintained and held together to look modern and comfortable enough.

Blinds and curtains just can't block all of the light from the outside, no matter what you do. With all of the construction, good luck walking around to find a breakfast spot.
