Breakfast was minimalist, but better than some I have experienced. Hotels are cutting back on the free breakfast when that is the opposite of what they should do. For many, it is the last thing they see about the hotel and to scrimp here could lead to bad reviews. I heard some others saying the same thing among themselves...

The lack of variety and missing of some standard items from the past. And some of the things they did feature were not good quality or very small portions, And the garbage cans did not look like they had been emptied from the previous day. Also my room did not have a refrigerator and the ice machines in the hall were out of order...

Very nice three night stay. Good rooms with frig., microwave, large TV and lots of pillows. We liked the wifi plugs and electrical plugs everywhere you need them. Lot of lights in the room and heavy drapes to keep out any outside lights. We traveled with our daughter and son in law and their four children. We would happily stay there again. The propery is well kept up and the free breakfast exceeded our expectations, ice machines, vending machines, clothes washer and dryers on every other floor. The kids enjoyed the in door swimming pool. The are is very safe, clean and lots of stores within a two block area. It has very easy access to the freeway and only a mile or two to the Lagoon Amusement Park. The free hot breakfast buffet and juice bar from 6-9 a.m. was a winner with the grand-children. There were lots of fast food located in the area and a grocery store right next door for things you may need. ❤️❤️❤️

The only downfall was that there was a little road noise in our rooms next to the road. They only change your bedding every three days if you stay long term as most hotels do we have stayed for a week or more. Evereything else was wonderful. We would stay there again for sure.

Good hotel. Staff was nice, the room was perfectly clean. Shower was good (pressure ok and very warm). Fridge and microwave worked, no issues with the internet. Bed was comfortable. Heater worked very well. Breakfast was good even though they didn't have fruits - they had hot food (eggs, burger patties, gravy), waffle-maker, cereals, bagels, bread, muffins etc. Tea is the yellow lipton so bring yours if you want something better. SLC is a small city so it was very easy to drive 10-15 min to arrive downtown to visit, and so much cheaper than staying downtown.

As you can see on the map, the hotel is next to the highway so no surprise: you will have noise.

Me and my boyfriend loved how helpful the front desk staff were, good breakfast served every morning, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night before bed, our room was very clean and had a good amount of space, very comfortable and a quality hotel :)

Our room key had some troubles but the front desk staff were great and very helpful, overall nothing bad to say!

The property was so clean, and well maintained. Parking was easy. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. We enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are well insulated from noise both inside and outside the hotel. There is a grocery store and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Most importantly the bed was really comfy and the sheets were soft. We will definitely stay here again.

The elevator smelled like a car garage. Hardly a deal breaker, but it was stinky.

The beds were really comfy, and I liked the pillows. I'm kinda a sucker for those things. I'm a privileged butthead at home with a purple mattress, and so usually when I take trips, I wake up tired and achy and sore. But this time, none of that. My wife is even worse than I am with beds and pillows, and she liked them too. The fact that it's right off the freeway was great. It made getting to where we were going to super accessible. If you're looking for a place to stay on the way to somewhere, this is without a doubt the best access to the freeway.

Parking could have been better. I mean, there is parking, just not a lot for the hotel specifically. It's right next to a bunch of stores, and they almost share parking lots. So you could probably get away with parking in one of the other spots, but I wouldn't want to risk it. I imagine towing happens a lot there. I'm a lazy bum, so I would have loved the breakfast time to be extended to 10am instead of 9am. But it's no big deal. I often skip breakfast anyway. I just happened to have run a half marathon that morning and was quite hungry. lol

I booked this room for my step-daughter and son-in-law who were visiting. This was a good value and made it possible for them to have their privacy. They were very happy with the room and the breakfast that was included in the room price. I will put them in this hotel whenever they come to visit.

I chose this hotel because it was literally just down the hill from the U of U hospital, which was very convenient. I was very happy with the service I received, as well as my overall stay at this hotel. I was surprised with the choice of breakfast items that were available, including waffles, hot & cold cereal, as well as coffee & 3 kinds of juice! I would definitely stay here again!

The vending machine seemed a little understocked.

Loved the location! Right behind a grocery store and very close to food. Some people complained about the noise from the freeway, but to me it was like a free sound machine! The breakfast was delicious, lots of options! The staff were friendly and the room was very clean!

My only complaint was that the shower towels were extremely old, stiff, and scratchy to the touch sadly.

Breakfast was fantastic! Many eateries and a grocery store within easy walking distance. Comfy beds... Pool and hot tub was wonderful...very clean and plenty of nice pool towels. Perfect location to get anywhere you want to go. We very much enjoyed our stay there and would readily return in the future.

Perhaps coffee or tea available in lobby after breakfast hours, but there is a little pot in the room
