Food service is minimal. We ate only one time ...a simple quesadea and a blt sandwich was over 30. Staff is very helpful. As of Sept 1, they now charge $10 a night to park in their lot. I reserved the room well before that time and will not have to pay the new parkinf fee. Hotel is very quiet in rooms facing the street. Rooms to the rear will hear traffic noise off the interstate and tangle of highways directly in back.

It was a nice room, they were accommodating and it was only one night spent. Enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, and the balcony was nice. I would say staff could have been a little more open and friendlier.

Wish it had a pool. That’ll be nice, it was a nice though — what I’ve seen of the lobby. I don’t understand it saying free parking on the site before you click, but then shows on site parking fee on site. It’s not even worth the money, because who’s watching the car for security. It’s a parking lot that’s attached to the building.

What I liked, loved was the easy way of sorting through all options that was offered needed for my occasion, and the ease of canceling and transferring ( from Courtyard Marriott Falls Church to Courtyard Marriott there in Alexandria Old Town/Southwest) to a closer Courtyard Marriott, where the rest of the Family had planned unknowingly. On arrival at Courtyard Marriott Alexandria Old Town/Southwest, the check in Attendant was professional, thorough and kind. The atmosphere was pleasant and very welcoming. We totally enjoyed our stay and have noticed that ALL Courtyard Marriotts, have a safe feel, home away from home moments. 😃

No complaints, there's nothing that wasn't acceptable. Our room was acceptable and everything was reasonable in decent order, Thanks to our room attendant, named Silvia ❤️

Not free,but Breakfast was available on site. We traveled with family and our driver suggested eating breakfast along the way, because of our timing and travel agenda.

For us there was nothing not to like. We always love staying at Courtyards by Marriott. Excellent staff, open greetings, they welcome you with smiles, professional voices, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

The room was nice and nicely decorated. The main thing we noticed is how accommodating the staff was. Upon our arrival, the woman working the front desk booked us in a room, and we went to get our baggage. She noticed that my wife was limping and offered to move our room closer to the elevator, to make the walk shorter. That was very thoughtful.

Fee for parking is unnecessary and no free coffee. Staff unfriendly and had a Sourpuss face. Not welcoming and not grateful for the stay. Didn’t look like they wanted to be there. Hotel could use a little more detail cleaning on the longe chair upholstery and wiping down the walls and cabinets.

Location very good, 10 min. walk to Yellow line station. Room was average and nice, nothing special. If you have a car, you can access the beltway and Old Town readily.

Parking costs $10/day so be aware. It's kinda tricky getting in/out of the place but just follow your NAV and you'll be fine. Access to Old Town requires a car, unfortunately.

Should have daily room service, our shower was very narrow, bistro very expensive, wall electric socket for charging was not working- rm 502, left side of the bed. Front desk people were great. Comfortable room

Many times the breakfast offered was incomplete. IE sandwich offered with fruit, but the had NO FRUIT, so I asked for a second bottle of juice and they told me that was extra. Personnel were courteous, but not accommodating.

The staff was super nice and I felt very welcomed. The room was very comfy and clean. The shower in the bathroom was really nice and had good water pressure. We used the mini fridge in the room for things we bought in the old town! :)

Not much to say here, we didn't get breakfast from the hotel so I can't speak on that. Everything was up to standard and we had a great time.
