GREAT location! In the middle of it all. The reception was warm and cozy (fireplace blazing!). My ghost / drinking tour started out in the lobby so it was very convenient. Complimentary water at checkin was a nice touch. Comfy bed - gorgeous bathroom. Loved it!

I couldn’t find the on-site parking lot. I had to park a couple blocks away (which was one of the main reasons I booked there). One of the 3 hallway lightbulbs next to my door (Room 228) was the wrong color. Instead of being warm yellow it was a stark blue/white. It made the place look cheap. Same thing in my bathroom above the mirror - different color lights.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the decor had a lot of character. I enjoyed the lobby and garden, did not get to enjoy all available amenities. The location is incredible!

I did not enjoy the forced spend at the restaurant masked as resort fees, mainly because the restaurant did not have options I liked, the service at the restaurant was also not great.

The location & onsite parking of this hotel is why we stayed at this hotel . The hotel dims their lights so everywhere. The lobby hallways & parking lot are extremely dark .

The hotel isn’t light & bright . Needs redecorated . The lights are dimmed so dark it’s hard to see in hallways. creepy

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect to getting around the city and seeing the sites.

The room was fine - I was just unhappy with the pillows. Very hard for our taste and made sleeping difficult

The Alexandrian is such a beautiful building, well maintained and absolutely spotless. It also smells amazing! The parking garage is conveniently located under the building, accessed by elevator. Coming and going was a breeze, since it is located in the heart of King Street.

Not a single thing. It is the perfect hotel, operated by the nicest people.

The staff were welcoming and friendly during check-in. We stayed here the night before our wedding ceremony nearby and I asked if we were allowed to check-out an hour later. They were able to accommodate our request without issues and allowed us to check-out 2 hours later. I appreciated their flexibility. The location is very convenient. Alexandrian is surrounded by many good cafe and restaurants and there is a CVS right across the street. It is only 2 minutes walk away from the city hall plaza where the Saturday farmers market is located.

I asked for a barstool during check-in and the front desk told me that they will deliver it in the evening. I didn't receive it so I called the front desk to follow up. They then told me that they couldn't find one and the restaurant was closed that day. They should have let me know in advance so I could have a plan B and didn't have to wait my time to wait for it. Fortunately, they were able to find a barstool for me in the next morning.

We loved our 1 night stay here this is our second time staying and would recommend this hotel for anyone planning a stay in Old Towne Alexandria !! The staff was very courteous and professional !! The location is ideal with access to a variety of places and activities!!

I needed a room close to the elevator for mobility - Danielle and Michael were extremely helpful. The room was enormous and SO clean. The bathroom was large, clean and beautiful. There were 3 comfortable seats in the room, ample closet space, and a refrigerator. The room was quiet despite being in the middle of the action. Location was perfect.

It was no one's fault, but the hotel bar/restaurant was closed Sunday night and Monday, the entire time of my stay. With mobility issues this was a problem.

The hotel was beautiful, big room and very comfy beds.

It was noisy during weekend because of the location on kings street. The menu for their brunch was limited.
