Beds were a bit high for the kids to jump up onto. But No complaints the Beds were really comfortable. Location proximity to local food spots and a Target were really good - a little bit of a walk to the train which was our family's primary mode of transport to sights. Liked having a fridge in the room to store some dairy products/snacks. Liked the surrounds - relatively quiet. Having access to the laundry facilities was also useful.

Having to move rooms just after check-in at 10pm after a long drive from New York, discovered the hot water supply to the shower didnt work. But once notified and the maintenance technician taking a quick look, the check-in staff very quickly arranged an alternative room of same size (albeit facing the back of the hotel with not as pleasant view of the surrounds) for us to relocate to. Room was just as spacious and comfortable though and we'd rather have a hot shower;-)

The location near the Rosslyn Metro station was perfect for getting around the Washington DC attractions. The rooms were remodeled and comfortable. We were able to get a room with two queen beds as requested for our family. We filled our water bottles from the gym water dispenser. It also dispenses hot water if you need it for tea or prepackaged oatmeal from the nearby Safeway! We had a refrigerator in the room so we stocked up on items from the grocery store. There is a microwave in Sonesta’s store with sundries in the lobby if you want to heat up some food. The lobby was like a large living room so if you had a bigger group you could relax together on the couches by the fireplace. Games were available too. The large gym was well appointed with elliptical and treadmill machines. There were also free weights and a weight machines. A stretching area offered mats and weighted balls. I worked out and was able to perform my entire routine.

The breakfast was somewhat disappointing. We thought it was included, but you need to check if you added it to your reservation. Sonesta offered prepackaged oatmeal, cereal, and yogurt as well as reheated small pancakes or egg sandwiches. We walked to the Safeway nearby and picked up similar breakfast items for less money for the rest of our stay. There was no free coffee or water in the lobby. You could get water from the gym water dispenser. Rosslyn is hilly, so be prepared to hike up a few blocks from the Metro Station to get to the Sonesta Select.

The room was a great size with large king comfortable bed and seating area. Good air conditioning. Coffee making facilities. Nice towels. Great location close to WW2 Marine Monument (5 mins walk), one stop on Metro from Arlington Cemetery. Excellent Metro connections to all places of interest and both Ronald Reagan and Dulles Airports. Lots of nice eating places nearby, especially liked Upside on Moore.

Unfortunately the hotel didn’t have a bar for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing!

We stay here frequently. It's always clean and the staff is pleasant. However, the room had an odor...body odor mixed with old shoes?? On this trip,at check-in, we found out the water would be shut off at 9am the next morning! I would have appreciated a warning e-mail etc.! They did provide breakfast as a consolation. It was awful! We went someplace else. They also provided a port-a-potty. Yippee! Normally, we like this place. So, we will return in hopes of our usual experience!

Location. Proximity to Arlington National Cemetery, which was the reason for our visit.

The breakfast attendant was very slow, didn’t know the difference between a room card and a credit card. He made it appear that my credit card was not good, when in fact he was attempting to use my room key as a credit card! When the attendant brought this up to the manager, he told me the second breakfast would be complimentary. My reservations included TWO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFASTS! What an embarrassment!

The beds were so comfortable! The receptionist was amazing also, helping us store and charge an electric scooter we rented for the weekend. On-site parking is also a plus! The parking garage is below the hotel and is easily accessible! Very close to the metro! We will be staying here again!

Clean, nice size, well appointed room. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Location in Arlington was excellent for our needs. Availability of onsite garage parking a plus.

Garage rate could have been a few dollars less. Not sure why put had some trouble at first logging on to hotel WiFi network.

The staff were helpful, courteous, and if I may say- almost protective of us. I had the feeling that they were watching out for us as much as they were attending to us. We had a pleasant, comfortable stay and it was a very convenient location to Arlington Cemetery, as we were in town for a relative's inurnment at Arlington. The beds are most excellent! Very comfortable!

There was nothing that I didn't like. That said, finding food was a bit inconvenient as I had my senior citizen mother with me and walking too many blocks was not an option. Neither was driving around to get food, as parking was non-existent. Perhaps a lobby cafe that was open longer through the day? Or leaving laminated take-out/delivery menus in the rooms near the telephones? (I did eventually settle on online ordering from Buuz Thai and they delivered a delicious meal.) The beds are very high and we jokingly said we had to do the "Fosbury Flop" to get into it. Perhaps a small step for shorter people to get into the bed?

Comfort, clean room, location, value for money. It was my 3rd stays in short period of time and I will definitely return Sonesta again. B'fast not included but free coffee available every morning.

Room price changes daily. In peak season the prices are almost doubled. it makes difficult to plan long stays. Complimentary water at arrival could be great. Internet stability could be improved. Since house keeping is offered only every 4th night, it would be nice to have trash collection ideas.

They only service rooms every 3 days and that’s only upon request. Which is pretty inconvenient since they keep limited supplies in the room - 3 towels & washcloths, a roll and half of toilet tissue, 2 small trash cans for a family of 4 isn’t meeting our needs. They did provide extras when asked, but would be better to have more stocked in the rooms.
