Room was very spacious and covered all the basics: fridge, microwave, nice king bed, large bathroom. Very convenient location for exploring the Palouse environs. Adequate if not inspired continental breakfast (season to taste, your mileage may vary.) Very decent work space at a desk. Friendly staff. Sunrise view.

Plan ahead with AirPods (or facsimile). “City view” comes with a fairly busy street down the hillside with passing vehicle noise. While very comfortable, the room was showing its age and not as cheery as the well-lit room photography depicts, which only matters if you have your heart set on charming decor. For my needs, this choice met my needs.

Location, pool, quiet, dog friendly, bartender was great.

Bathroom door latch broken and room seemed to be missing the normal desk. Breakfast has become sparse despite lots of people, and not staffed for replenishment- down to one bagel, one apple,and 6 people waiting for the waffle makers at 8am on a Saturday morning. Full fridge of microwaveable stuff. We ended up eating in town. Expensive laundry machines but had to rinse crusty soap out of our clothes.

Price point for what you get was great. Breakfast was fine and generally clean room/bathroom. I also like that they are pet friendly even though we didn't have a pet this trip. We were allowed an early check in Which was awesome (early flight).

The bed is a bit firm, but was okay. I think a better vacuum for the room would be better (carpet had some minor debris, but not gross). The remote did not work, so we used controls on TV (we did not complain because TV is not a major issue for us). The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke, but I think it was because of people smoking near the entrance (room and rest of facilities smelled fine).

We have stayed here multiple times and always appreciate the very friendly staff and great location.

The hotel could use some updating and the mattress kills my back. But I also have a bad back and really love my matress at home, so I'm not sure the sore back is really the hotel mattress's fault. And this is the most economical place to stay while still providing great service, so I am good foregoing some of the upgraded amenities for the convenience and budget friendliness.

It had an indoor pool but we didn't have the time to use it. Breakfast choices. They had breakfast sandwishes to microwave. They were good. Never have had that option before. Nice view of area. The love seat gave extra sitting room. Comfortable bed. I liked the pictures and history of WSU to look at in the hotel.

We fiddled with tv alot. Channel guide didn't make sence. Noticed dog odor while sitting on the love seat that bothered me. Was told later was supposed to be pet free room.

Better than average breakfast, clean rooms, nice bedding, helpful staff, very large area to eat breakfast in with comfortable seats and tables with a nice view. Walking distance to a park. Quiet hilltop neighborhood.

It cost more than typical because it was the week of Freshman orientation but I understand supply and demand. Breakfast could have been better if they still offered hard boiled eggs. Yogurt brand was odd with a strange texture.

The breakfast was mediocre, offering two waffle machines, but only microwave breakfast sandwiches or bagels to toast. They said they had eggs and meats cooked breakfast before COVID, but never went back to the higher level service. We were in the newer area of the property, so it was just fine. I've heard the older section is tired.

The pool and hot tub were closed for the whole weekend.

The folks at the front desks are always very kind and accommodating. We enjoy seeing all of the WSU memorabilia and year books. It is nice that they have coffee and tea available all the time. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel especially if you are visiting WSU. Make sure you book early in order to get a room if you know there is something big happening on campus.

The breakfast was a little sparse in my opinion. The worker was either new or lazy. The food selection was low due to a late delivery. They did get the delivery after we had finished eating. We had to ask the gal behind the wall to bring out more coffee, she was just standing back there on her phone. Once the food arrived and the manager came back she got much busier putting food out for people and washing the tables. The rooms are clean, but there is very little bedding on the beds. There is one extra blanket in the top of the closet, but we were still on the cold side. We had stayed here before and brought a blanket of our own which was very helpful.

The location was great! But we were surprised to see it was next to a graveyard. The breakfast area had a beautiful view of the town. The food was good, however, I hoped for cooked eggs. The pool seemed cleaner than any pool we’ve ever swam in at a hotel. The only struggle was Wi-Fi was very laggy. We were on a road trip and I was attempting to plan our next route and struggled with the connection. But altogether I enjoyed our stay.

This is the first hotel that I've stayed at in quite some time that did not smell like marijuana, and I was exceptionally grateful for that! The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable! I will certainly be back.

The only complaint I had was that my fridge didn't seem to work very well.
