I liked the location, value, and room. The lady at the check-in was very nice. It was nice to have a fridge and the ice machine was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

Friday night it was difficult to get there because Hot August Nights closed the street to get there. I had to wait until the street opened up. The outside of the property was not very appealing. The pool was off limits, gated, and mostly empty with grossness at the bottom. There was obvious construction going on, but no mention in the hotel description. The rooms had a lot of light that came in once the sun came up.

We loved the modernized rooms ! It was very very clean(I am an executive housekeeper so I am very critical when it comes to rooms ) , the hotel was quiet & the beds were great! The stove was good , showers were hot ! , the front desk girls were super super nice & accommodating! It’s a family owned business and the mom was just as great and nice as her staff! :) coffee was great ! Cable was fast , lots of channels ! ( another perk was the little kitchenette having utensils, plates , bowls !!

The beds moved so easily , the ALL WHITE BEDDING (SUCKS Because you are charged for it if it is stained at the end of your stay) THE WIFI IS THE WORST PART !! It does not connect to some electronics .. it goes out after 10 minutes ! It’s very very slow . Please get a better service . The pool was out of order which sucks but I understand it happens ! We entered our room and after 5 minutes of settling in , guest downstairs was banging on our floor . Quiet hours start at 11pm (it was 9pm)

The rooms are recently updated and very clean. They are still working on remodeling areas of the hotel - but the room I had (on two different says) was very comfortable and clean. Staff is wonderful. They do have some rules (which I don't mind), i.e., quiet time, laundry and vending machines get locked after 8:30, etc.

It's a bit noisy as there is a heavily traveled road in front of the hotel. Also, there is only street parking and not very much of it. The only other drawback is no fault of the hotel, but there is a park nearby with several homeless folks wondering around.

Kudos to the management who has made incredible improvements to this hotel experience while remaining sensitive to the budget needs of weary travelers. My first impression was made when I checked in with the night staff. She was smart, welcoming and knowlegeable. The hot drinks in the lobby presented a nice selection. When I checked out the following day, the day staff was just as nice. These grounds and facilities are slowly being improved and the pool looks like it has great potential for fun once they get that going. Thank you Myrna and Ellizabeth for competently representing your business and helping weary travelers on their way.

I will definately stay here again and recommend this well-managed and reasonably-priced accommodation. Thank you.

This hotel is under constructions and new management I believe. Stayed here twice now and both times I have received an updated, very clean and modern room. There is food within walking distance. The staff is very friendly.

There were some sketchy people hanging around the area one night. Also, the hotel sits on a main avenue through town so it can be a bit noisy at times. Also, there is no elevator (two story building) and no functioning pool as some sites claim.

The location near the River is excellent! Lots of food within walking distance. I particularly recommend Sterling’s, which had a terrific brunch menu. My room had been fully renovated and looked like the photo.

There is some noise from the street and the nearby Fire/EMS station. Mostly covered by a sleep sounds app. Bring some clothes pins or binder clips to help block out the outside light.

The staff that I spoke to was polite, friendly and knowledgable. This person took time to contact me several times prior to arrival, during my stay, and again after check out to ensure that I was good. I was upgrade to a king suite so had a luxurious feel to it. Rooms were clean, the bed was amazing and the bathroom/ shower was large and roomy

No complaints. They thought of everything and had it all at my finger tios

We liked the cleanliness, simplicity and quietness of the room. We were visiting family and only needed a place to sleep so the price was perfect. Will stay again when needed.

The bathroom could really use a shelf or something to put our toiletries on. And a throw rug or two on each side of the bed would make the room cozier.

The inside is completely redone. Management is working hard to revamp this property, formerly called the Bali Hi.

The grill and patio area still need work. Looks like the pool was abandoned and definitely is no longer working. But management said they plan to replace it with a hot tub.

It was a nice stay, except for the dogs running around and crapping on the paths and the lawn, and weren’t cleaned up afterwards by the owners.

The bathroom and showers have a slider, no screens and the flies come in, then the bathroom windows have no privacy glass and you can be seen in your glory if someone wanted to peek in. Not to mention that they could break in through the bathroom window.
