Location is perfect. It is walkable to the airport (or take their free shuttle) and to the many good restaurants nearby. It is also walkable (longish) to the light rail system to get to downtown Seattle. Free breakfast -it’s not great but it’s free. Room is good with decent lighting in the bathroom and good bedside plugins for all your electronics.

It is dated as the carpeting will attest.

Efficient shuttle on return to airport. Room was good, quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Breakfast room kept clean & stocked by a dedicated person. No TV in the breakfast room turned to a fake news channel.

Once again, the courtesy phone for pickups not working. For us foreigners on e-SIMs an extra roaming call cost. 20 minute 'it's on it's way' pickup.

Not easy to locate the hotel shuttle bus pick up point. Signage at SEA is very confusing. Courtesy phones at the pick up point were out of order. Unable to contact the hotel with an Australian mobile phone. For $A300.00+ per night, I would have expected a more upmarket property. The included breakfast was very basic. Great coffee ☕ but that is about the only positive. Marketed as close to SEA, but a good kilometre from the airport.

A very basic breakfast on offer. Confusing airport shuttle bus pick up point. Rooms were very clean, but a complete room renovation ovation is necessary. The hotel is definitely showing its age

Shuttle service was great, also next day to the airport to take the lightrail into town. We loved the direct view to the very close airport from our room and the rabbits on the lawn of the hotel ;-). Breakfast was great and also that we could use the lounge for eating brought-in food. Wonderful location for visits to Seattle but still quiet, safe area, also good for visits to Boeing Airfield, Museum of flight, Auburn Airport (flightschool), Mt Rainier N.P. (Tourist-Immigration in Seattle was friendly and we felt safe and welcome.)

Stores and eating is not easily reachable by walking. The gym was tiny and very cardio orientated, not really easy to work out the muscles. Plus I would have appreciated, if I could have signed that my sons (13 and 15, sportsmen national team) could use it without supervision of an adult.

My only issue was being able to contact the hotel to request a shuttle. None of the courtesy phones were working, and I have an international phone that would not let me call the local lines. I waited in the December cold hoping a regular shuttle would pass by. In the meantime, I sent a message to the hotel through the travel app. After 45 minutes, I asked a kind stranger to call for me. While the courtesy phone issue at the airport and my international phone are not the fault of the hotel, another option to quickly contact the hotel through more immediate messaging response would be appreciated.

Everyone on staff is courteous and professional which shows in the cheerful fellow guests and safe, clean premises.Check-in,Morning breakfast,Well made bed and plenty of pillows and clean towels are the result of staff who do their job well and care about helping guests have the best stay. Then ...the best...the shuttle driver and his on-time transport to and from the airport ! Guests from the airport are picked up and dropped off efficiently,with time allowed for cheerful help with luggage and information. That shuttle reliability is a big part of why we choose to stay at Coast Gateway. We have not used luggage storage but are very glad it is offered.😄

I did not like being denied late checkout or something accomadatin A day pass or generous late check out can improve trip planning that requires a mid day or evening flight. Noon checkout, when flights are leaving the airport late in the evening, can mean a long time sitting somewhere other than the comfortable room or fitness and pool area.

The staff was wonderfully friendly. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and courteous. The van drivers were both excellent. The housekeepers we encountered on this one night stay were all kind, smiling, and our room was perfectly clean. The location near the airport is ideal, and we had a day and a half layover from an international trip. The staff was accommodating and truly excellent. The restaurant in the parking lot was super nice, as well, and, though not a part of the hotel, was honestly 18 seconds of walking through the parking lot to get there, and, it was open by noon, so we were both happy.

Breakfast. This was a disappointment. The only negative we could say was in this area. Hard boiled eggs for the protein, and then a bunch of bread products for the rest. There was some fruit available, but, far less of a breakfast than you would find at a budget hotel. Even Holiday Inn Express or Springhill Suites do a better job. The breakfast lady was nice enough though, but, honestly, the lack of good breakfast options was disappointing.

We liked the overall friendly service of the staff. The bed was very comfortable. The location was close to the airport and train services. Several different types of eating places only a short walk away. Free do it yourself laundry provided. There's a free shuttle bus service from the airport to hotel and vice versa. You just need to ring the hotel from the help desk on level 3 at the airport and you're then picked up in about 10 minutes.

The cooked breakfast included was fairly basic which is thin sausages and flat pancake type scrambled egg. So if you like something of a proper mixed buffet type cooked breakfast you will be disappointed. There is cereal, waffle making pan, boiled eggs, bagels type bread, coffee and juices and yogurts. So if you're not to fussy, then breakfast is fine.

Nice, very clean room with everything we needed. The windows opened for fresh air which is good but it also made it quite noisy. The restaurant Sharps Roasthouse just across the parking lot has good medium priced meals and a lively casual atmosphere. Walking distance from the airport with no road crossings and no hills. It took us ~10 min to walk (we are both 66 yrs old), and we saw one of our countrymen with a foot brace from a sports injury also walking and wheeling his bag, so really, the walk is easy.

Breakfast. I know this has to be provided to a budget, ... but just a small improvement would go a long way. We were early to breakfast so maybe not everything was out, but I'll assume it was. My specific comments: Good selection of oats, but the 'fresh' fruit was old, damaged and soft apples! No cream for the waffles! Something like baked beans and good bread (not some weird cold round thing?) with the (very nice) sausages? Good coffee.

1. Only a few minutes' walk from Seattle airport, easy to access even with a suitcase. (Shuttles are also available upon prior request, but I just walked anyways.) 2. Breakfast was nice. Not a luxurious lineup but satisfying enough to keep me energized throughout most of the day.

Water pressure (both the washing basin faucet & shower) was a bit weak. p.s. I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor, not sure if this is applicable to all floors.
