Very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was delicious!

The heating/AC unit in our room didn’t work properly. Our room was really warm even with the air turned all the way up. We were on 2nd floor. The property is really spread out and it’s a hike from where our rooms were (270s) to the lobby, pool, and breakfast. My poor mother in law had to walk a flight of stairs and it was difficult for her. The only elevator is very far away and walking the stairs was shorter than walking all the way to the elevator and back.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and quiet and the hot breakfast with eggs and sausages was a wonderful way to start the day. Appreciated the fresh fruit by the front desk which was available all the time.

The pool area is in need of some care - the paint on the floor was chipping/peeling and it would get on your feet and then end up in the pool and hot tub. Also, the hot tub, although large, only had 4 jets which were not very powerful at all. Made the hot tub more like a soaking tub than a whirlpool. A few ceiling tiles were loose and drips would come from the ceiling occasionally. The bottom of the pool could also stand to be resurfaced/repainted - it had large patches that were discolored which made the pool look "dirty" and old.

The room was quite comfortable, with a large seating area if you're having friends or family over to hang out. The pool area is nice as well. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is small (the sink area is outside of the toilet/shower area, so that's not a problem), but the shower is nice. Water pressure and shower head are good. The best thing is the water actually hits my head without scrunching down. I'm 6'2", it's frustrating when the shower hits me about the middle of my chest. Had a coffee maker and mini-fridge as well. It's also been pretty quiet when I've stayed there. Very pleased with the quality and price, and I've made it my go-to now when staying in Madison.

If I'm going to nit-pick, they no longer have a free breakfast. There's a breakfast option you can purchase, and it's through the adjoining restaurant. That's a bit of a drawback, but I usually grab breakfast elsewhere anyway. The rooms could use a slight bit of TLC. For example, the bottoms of the doors were a bit ratted in my room. But you have to really look for these things to even notice them. Maybe the biggest drawback was the location. The hotel is kind of tucked away, and it's easy to miss the entrance if you're not careful (especially at night). It's about 20 minutes from State St and UW-Madison, so that might be a dealbreaker for you. But you'll probably pay twice as much for a comparable room in that area.

Hotel and room were very clean and quiet. And NO smoke smell. Staff was great! Great location to shops and restaurants. Felt safe!

No free breakfast. The air conditioner wasn't working properly the first night. I turned it off while gone for the day, turned it back on and it was then working. I don't thnk my room had been stayed in in awhile. There was "hard water"? stains (black streaks) on inside of toilet bowl. Some went away the more it was flushed.

Overall I had a comfortable stay, slept well on the very comfortable mattress and the room was really nice.

My room was not ready at check-in. The blanket was way too hot for sommer. The pool was not available the first 3 days. The refrigerator did not work. Extending the stay was way too difficult and cumbersome, the staff didn't know how to use the system which made it cumbersome. Breakfast closes way too early. No-go in my opinion: It was not possible to open the window!

I didn’t care for the smell of someone smoking cannibus either in there room or in the hall of the hotel. I realize the hotel staff can not be everywhere to keep this kind of thing from happening, but I’m not happy with the rudeness of people that do this type of thing in an environment that is supposed to be smoke free. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay your hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable. Stay was quiet at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. I've stayed here a few times now and never had a problem. Will book here for future visits as well.

They charge for breakfast now, kind of weird. Only one USB port in the room, that's slightly inconvenient but not horrible (most places I been don't have any). Place is a little off the beaten path (i.e. State St.) but not a deal-breaker.

Tami and Brittnay (sp?) at the front desk were simple excellent! Friendly, engaging, informative, helpful and accommodating. Caitlyn did a nice job in the breakfast area. Price was very acceptable. Very quiet. Nice location. Would come back if in the area. The facility has just begun a rehab program, but that wasn't a deterrent..

The hot tub jets weren't working.

Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped room with great bed and bathroom, good sunlight. Good, reasonable breakfast facility. Excellent value for money. Our room was a long walk from the reception, but that's ok. Location of hotel is a bit far from the city, but Uber/Lyft are easily available (though expensive).

Always a great stay when we're in town. Great location in southwestern Madison. Comfy rooms and beds, great accommodations in our room as well.

They have begun to charge for breakfast, which when we stayed a few months earlier was included, I wish they would return to having the price of breakfast included or reduce the rates of the rooms.
