We had great service from the moment we walked in. Carol was working the front desk. She told us about our room, happy hour, and pool hours. Carol was always around helping guest. We ended up going for happy hour. Our bartender was Ana. She was great with each guest. She even introduced us and other guest to a new drink. Our room was wonderful. The hot tub in the room was nice to jump into after hanging out in the pool. We only stayed one night. But, we enjoyed our room. We had a great night of sleep! Breakfast the next morning, was so good! Definitely a variety of food to pick from. I loved the breakfast burritos. I did try the sausage and biscuits too.

Breakfast is always good, hot and supplies kept filled. Eggs were way better than the usual "powdered" scrambled eggs, these were excellent scrambled eggs. Even had the option to make breakfast burritos! Good oatmeal always a plus. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. We have stayed here before and will come back again no doubt.

Rooms are beginning to feel a little outdated. They could use a little update, like outlets by the bed for chargin electronics. But that is just a bit inconvenient, not really a problem for us.

Room was in good order. We did have to ask for more toilet paper because we had one roll for 5 people for 3 days. We also weren't given enough towels but we made due with towels we had brought.

POOL! The pool had broken glass so it was closed. We were given the option of going across the street to the Holiday Inn which we did but that added a little stress since it was zero degrees outside. We appreciated the option to go across the street - thank you for that. However - the kind lady at the desk told me I should have booked with them and I should have called the hotel to make sure the pool was working. It is my understanding that the pool had just broken the day before so I don't think they were going to call me to let me know after I made the reservation. Anyway....there was a solution but it wasn't what we booked. I had spent over a week looking at reviews and all of our options and landed on this hotel to then be very disappointed they didn't have a working pool.

The staff was attentive. The premise was clean and orderly. We have stayed before and found things as we expected.

There was no closet in the room or a place to hang our dress and business clothing. We had to ask for an iron and ironing board. The staff looked on three different floors to locate an iron. Most places have both in each guest room. Please have these at least readily available per floor, if not accessible in each room. Add a place to hang business attire, as not all guests are on vacation.

The spacious room, the quaint and charming decor through out the hotel. Carol, the front desk attendant was friendly, helpful and engaging.

In the double queen room there was an odor like urine, maybe pet, from the right side of one of the beds coming from the corner area where the carpet meets the wall. Not exactly sure where the odor originated from but did not get a very restful sleep when facing the wall. Had to keep changing position to avoid the smell and keeping in one position all night is not easy.

I am a flight attendant with Southwest and stay @ many hotel chains, and even though not a chain, the accommodations and staff were awesome!! Family owned business, staff was very friendly, accommodating, and go above and beyond for their customers. Colt, the GM, is a hands-on mgr., pitching in from landscaping, painting, maintenance and breakfast. You can tell the company appreciates their employees and their employees appreciate the company. Most have been employed there for many years. Thank you all, Colt, Nathan, Kelsie, Josie and others we interacted with but didn't get your names.The Machine Shed food and service are a great addition. Stella our server was awesome.

Our room had been previously occupied by a smoker ( it is a non-smoking hotel and had lingering scent), but can't always control what your guests do and did not have a closet but was not a big deal.Otherwise, accommodations were good.

Very nice hotel specially for the money. It's very convenient to anything you'd be looking to do in or around Milwaukee. Friendly staff, very nice breakfast. I really like their cozy feeling lobby which the large games that can be played like Jenga, connect four, bowling, cornhole. We've stayed here more than once and has become our go to when doing anything around Milwaukee.

It seemed like this were just a little run down or not updated often. But the pluses fair out weigh this one thing.

The location was great, the hot tub and the pool were nice. The King room was clean and spacious. Free Wi-Fi was nice too. Thank you!

I had 3 breakfasts there and they were a bit blah. Same food items 3 mornings, except the 3rd morning, used the sausage for gravy and biscuits. Also, get rid of the styrofoam! Compostable cups and utensils should be used. I went and bought my own reuseable cup and utensils after seeing what was being used the first day.

I made good use of the pool, especially since you do not allow children in the pool after a set time. Breakfast was fantastic, thank you! The overall atmosphere of the facility was a delight, I wanted to stay another night!

Although I visited the restaurant next door and enjoyed the food, having something at the hotel to buy would have been nice.

The location! It was right off the highway. We went to the Brewers game so it was not far away.

We did have a room with 2 queen beds (which my husband and I have at home) but the bed felt smaller than a queen. During the night, I actually moved over to the other bed because I didn't feel like I had enough space in the bed. Also, I thought the pillows I had were lumpy. Once I moved over to the other bed, I was very comfortable.
