The room was excellent, very clean and spacious, temperature was regulated very well without excessive noise and the bath towels and soaps were all excellent. Wed checked in about 8:15 pm from our travel from Cheyenne, Wyo. so we had been on the road along time. We were greeted very pleasantly and were treaded with very yummy chocolate chip cookies. We went to the breakfast in the morning at 6:45 and they had everything you would expect including bacon, sausage, eggs, country fried potatoes, croissants, bagels, delicious hot chocolate, fruits, and cereals. We could not have been more pleased.

It is a big facility so parking at that time of arrival was very full but we were still able to find a spot not too far. Other than that no complaints.

Loved the extra room to go when everyone is asleep in the bedroom in the cabin, however if you had 6 people it would have been useless because the pullout sofa was in there. We were very comfortable with 4 in the cabin, but 5 or 6 would have been very tight. The cabins are cute and had a full kitchen, we only used the frig. Loved our little porch and the location was great for us - we walked to the square lots of times without issue. Lots of areas to hang clothes even though there isn't a closet. We had several rooms in the hotel and the regular rooms were also good. Cookies in the lobby. Sooooo delicious.

Beds against the wall. Problem for older people who have to climb out to go potty in the middle of the night but not a deal breaker. We also ran into a grumpy breakfast worker that wouldn't let us come in and sit down at 6:28 at a table- breakfast started at 6:30 and we were asked to wait in the lobby. There may have been a reason for this, but it was not shared. The breakfast was ok when we had eaten there before, but not worth waiting however long it was going to take so we ate at Bubba's next door and it was delicious.

It's a beautiful hotel full of country charm. Very comfortable with friendly staff and excellent facilities. The beds are comfortable and clean although the room itself was little dusty in places.

Having gone to so much trouble to present a comfortable well appointed hotel it was rather spoiled by the breakfast. Buffet style they provided paper cups and plates and plastic cutlery. We were very disappointed. Also, I put out the 'do not disturb sign as I did not want my room done until I had left for the day. I left around 11am and removed the sign. When I returned late afternoon, my room still had not been serviced. It's not a cheap hotel by any means and I felt this was not good enough.

The linens were lovely, especially the towels. Nice to have the kitchen, worked well. Enjoyed the quiet. Glad the car could be parked directly in front. The breakfast was great and appreciated. More fresh fruit would have made it better.

The shower faucet was loose, and the water didn't come out fully from the top showerhead, it did a lot of spraying at the bottom. The room was overly warm, and the heater in the bathroom seemed to have a short, the knob would click and it wouldn't stay off. We finally had to have a repairman turn off the breaker to the bath heater. And still the room stayed awfully warm--did it have radiant heat? Couldn't adjust. Hard to sleep in an overly warm room.

Rooms were good, lobby area and breakfast were really nice. Walking distance from everything

We called several hours before check-in asking if the hotel could accommodate an early check-in. We were coming from a backpacking trip, and hoping to shower, and go enjoy the town for the afternoon. The facility was unable to accommodate any amount of early check-in. We showed up 30 min before check-in seeing if maybe the rooms might be available, and even at that point, they said they could not accommodate until check-in because cleaning staff were working on our rooms at that moment. Its just hard to believe that after we called, there was no ability to speed up our check-in time, which would have greatly improved our overall stay and the value of the stay. Other than that, I don't have any other complaints, it was a great place to stay.

I recently stayed at the Elk Country Inn and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal, situated conveniently close to downtown Jackson, making it easy to enjoy the shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep, and the complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of options to start the day right. The overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing — exactly what I was hoping for. I would highly recommend Elk Country Inn to anyone visiting Jackson Hole.

While my overall stay at the Elk Country Inn was very enjoyable, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, could benefit from some updating to match the quality of the rest of the property. I also noticed some light lime scale buildup on the shower head. Additionally, it is important to note that there is no elevator access to the second floor, which could present challenges for guests with mobility impairments; I would recommend that those guests request a ground-floor room.

We stayed in the room inside the main lodge on the first floor and it was really awesome - very big, with very tall ceiling and huge bathroom. We really liked it! Other people in our party stayed in room in a smaller building attached to main lodge, and rooms there weren't as nice, so try asking for a room in the main lodge if you can

The breakfast area was super crowded and there was no room to sit. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table to free up. There's definitely room to add more tables, it would be nice if management considered doing it

The bed was super comfy, lots of comfy pillows, mattress etc. We enjoyed the breakfast as well and the free hot chocolate/apple cider daily.

The room was dated, the heat for the room was soooo noisy. Not sure if it was about to go out or not, but it roared when it came on. The room was soooo hot. We cut it down to almost 50 degrees, seemed so stuffy in there. The garbage dumpsters were behind our room and every morning around 3am/4am they came and clanged the dumpsters, very annoying. Our room was right beside the steps as well, so we constantly heard people running up and down them and the floors above us was so squeaky when the people would walk around. The noise was probably our biggest disappointment. We didn't get a good night's sleep the whole time were there. I think the room should be a little more updated as well, felt like we were in the 1980's.

The place is located few minutes’ walk from the center, but it's quiet and nice. We parked the car just in front of the room, so it was very convenient to take out the luggage. There is a small indoor pool and Jacuzzi. The breakfast was OK and the staff is very friendly and helpful - when we had an issue with the safe they came very fast to help us. The room was OK - good maintenance

Like in all the other accommodations we had in the US - the breakfast doesn't include fresh vegetables and white cheese (but they serve fresh fruits)

Liked that our room was directly across from lobby and breakfast area. Very convenient for us, but it would not be so great if we had a room in the back, because would have been a long walk for seniors.

Bathroom was exceptionally small. The breakfast was really lacking in good options. They were out of milk. Out of coffee, and the scrambled eggs were unusually watery. The sausage was very under cooked and there was no cooked oatmeal. Worsen of all there was NO Microwave in the dining area to warm up lukewarm coffee.
