The check in was very easy and straightforward. I was shown to my room and asked if I needed anything. I had a problem with the room key late at night and the staff could not have been more helpful. They tried to open the door with the key and then said it would need repaired. This would be done the next day and they put me in the room next door for the night. The lock was repaired next day. The breakfast is amazing and is buffet style so you can have as much or as little as you want. The first morning I was told by one of the staff to treat this like home. I have every plan to return to Samarkand and to stay once more and will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

The only thing I didn't like was the 2 days of rain other than that there was nothing wrong with the hotel.

Great location and beautiful building with lovely decorations and architecture. Room was very quiet as in a back yard and that was a very welcome rest from the endless Samarkand traffic noise. Staff who checked us in was very polite and kind.

Other staff members were a bit impatient and kept asking for payment with ringing our door in the evening although we only stayed one night. Check out quite slow. Breakfast not convincing, room for improvement. Shower curtain very old and not pleasant, also broken…

Many times there was no staff at the reception and even after ringing the ball kept at the reception no one used to come at the reception The mattress on the bed was a little bit hard No tea / coffee supply in the room Only lukewarm water in the shower

Great place. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast and location were very good. Good restaurants and famous sights within a short walk. The room had good air conditioning and a refrigerator.

Sometimes water pressure was a bit weak.

The hotel is very good location. Every thing is very comfortable. The hotel staff is very helpful I never forget there manners and behaviour. Ther hospitality is outstanding. Good luck mixt Royal palace. Samarkand. Good bye Uzbekistan.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel, although getting old, is comfortable and well located at a walking distance to many tourist attractions. my room was large, bright, quiet, very clean, and everything worked well. Breakfast is included.
