Spacious room with minimalist furniture. Friendly staff are ready to help with any questions. The hotel is located next to a park, so in the morning you’ll hear birds singing (at least in May). Excellent, varied breakfasts with delicious dishes. Please note that this is a halal hotel — alcohol is not permitted in the rooms.

First time I’ve seen a pool with bookings “for one guest.” If you don’t book the pool in time and it’s occupied by someone else, you won’t be able to use it.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are charming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge and so is the bed. It was spotlessly clean. The free, but bookable, pool/steam room/ sauna complex was a delight (although may be a bit warm for some Europeans) and there was a varied breakfast, so you should be able to find something to meet most tastes. It is also next to a surprisingly peaceful park. The location is excellent - 100m to Cosmonaut metro station (which everyone should visit), 20 mins from the fantastic Museum of the Applied Arts and walkable to Amir Timur Sq and many other sights. Lots of restaurants on the doorstep, although they aren't the cheapest you'll find in Tashkent, but were perfectly nice.

The first room I was given had some sort of issue with the drains, judging by the smell. I was swapped immediately to another which was fine. One side of the bed was a bit hard for me, but the other side was just right. NB - Westerners- this is a paper in the bin, not the lavatory country.

The location of the hotel is just perfect for exploring Tashkent but still being in a quiet neighbourhood. You can walk to the main attractions but if you don't the famous Kosmonavtlar metro station is just in front of the hotel. Also you have a nice park and lots of cafe's and little restaurants nearby. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and they managed to prepare a room for us very early in the morning for an early check in even though we haven't announced one. The room was spacious, comfy and clean, just what we needed. You can also enjoy very diverse breakfast in the morning, theres everything for everyone. I would definitely come back here.

Central Location Large rooms Variety for breakfast

Simple furnishings in the rooms but without a feel-good factor. We had booked a pick-up from the station but no one was there and we took care of it ourselves. There was quietly no apology, compensation or at least a little something to make up for it. We had requested a wake up call for the return flight, it was confirmed to us but in the end it didn't happen. Nobody helped us carry our luggage and there was no warm welcome or anything else. We would have liked the staff to be more attentive.

The hotel is located in a very central and quiet place. It’s next to a metro station, where you can take the metro and get to the train station in 2 stops. The hotel staffs were super friendly during our stay and also helped us arrange an airport pick-up.

The only inconvenient thing was that we were not able to pay with our credit card. We could use the same credit card everywhere else at Uzbekistan except this hotel. We had to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM and made the full payment in cash. To hotel management: the next hotel we stayed told us there was a limit on card issued by US banks, 500,000 Som per transaction and 1,000,000 Som per day. We were able to pay that hotel with the same card by multiple transactions over 2 days. You may want to double check with your bank and see if that’s the issue causing the fail of payment from US-issued credit cards.

Our suite was very smart and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. We liked the big windows and view of the park. There's a big choice of hot and cold food on the breakfast buffet - even if some things were a bit unusual for breakfast! Liked all the dried fruit and nuts and the choice of meats and cheeses. The hotel is central yet at the end of a lovely park, a relaxing place to sit at the end of the day. There are several restaurants and metro station within a few minutes walk.

Sofa could have been more comfortable and we could hear the family in the next room clearly.

Location was great. Near to the Metro Station and everywhere in the city. Hotel staffs were all friendly. Breakfast consist of varieties including breads, sunnyside egg, sausages, kebabs and many more local delicacies. We arrived at 0300am due to flight delay and 2 staffs welcomed us with a pleasant smile. The security guy named Mr AbduJabbor was very kind as he assisted us ladies to our room by carrying many of our belongings. He rejected the tips we gave (This is indeed very rare) We appreciate it very much.

Water in the bathroom were too hot and it's difficult to control.

I had a chance to walk in the nearby streets and would say that this hotel has a great location in the area: close to the park, walking streets around with the pavements. Very attentive staff, for example, when I asked to put some water in my room as I was going to work all day, they just left the whole pack of it! Tasty breakfast with great variety at the restaurant downstairs with the nice ambience.

The property is very well located between a few embassies and next to the Kosmonaut metro stations on Afrosiyob street. The rooms are huge, bathroom is massive with an excellent shower and bidet. Very comfortable facilities. Breakfast was a very good spread. The attached restaurant is really beautiful, try and spend some time sitting in their outdoor area in the day if you can. It is in the middle of a park and is so relaxing.

The entrance to the property is from the back if you're coming by car, so you could be a bit thrown off at first.

The hotel is excellent in all respects. Most of all, the reception staff are amazing. Extremely helpful and supportive. Booked taxis for us whenever required. Willing to guide and give information about local sites, restaurants and excursions. Nazokhat is an amazing manager who ensures guests are looked after. I must commend Sabina in reception and Abdul Aziz who were both very helpful and made our stay at Sahid Zarafshan so welcoming that we would return again. Both always providing a great service with a smile. Tram Spirit at the hotel is great and this reflects on the owner who is a very pleasant and approachable man. He didn’t mind talking to us and others guests asking how our stay was and if there was anything we needed. The facilities are great with both an indoor and outdoor gym. My wife enjoyed the massage at the Spa. The staff there were very professional and experienced. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food. The staff at the breakfast restaurant are very helpful. Unlike a lot of other hotels, they will not ‘Kick’ you out at 10.00 am when the breakfast ends. They are courteous and will hang on until guests have finished and then start removing the food. I was impressed with this gesture and commend the hotel management. Shows a caring and respectable attitude. We booked two rooms, double and twin. Both were very spacious and well maintained. Room service was prompt and excellent.
