I liked Light House Hostel for: - Russian and English speaking staff - comfy bed with privacy curtain, lamp and socket to charge laptop and phone - lockers, air conditioner and fan in my dorm room - nice and clean en-suite bathroom - free and good working wi-fi internet - fantastic location: café, restaurants, pharmacy, ATM, massage salons, supermarkets, beach are 1-2 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. Dragon bridge and Bac My An Market was also not far from the hostel. - electric kettle and stove at the reception, where they can boil water for tea or warm up food - offered laundry, sightseeing tours and transportation services - daily cleaning of hostel premises - absence of lift/elevator (a lot of stairs to walk up or down) that was helpful as I was trying to exercise and lose extra pounds I can highly recommend Light House Hostel.

I liked everything.

Pretty nice dorm room. The women's room is away from the street noise. This was nice. The beds were comfortable. The location can't be beat - for real, it's central to all things My An and it's not even too noisy either! They have drinking water to refill your bottle if you ask. The dogs are cute. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with.

The bathroom had a bad moldy smell. But as long as the bathroom door was kept shut, it was ok. The lockers were outside the room on the covered balcony. This was a minor inconvenience, but it was ok and actually nice because it meant it was quiet when someone got into their locker while you were sleeping.

The beds are nice, wide and comfy, light and ambient lighting is also available. They let you check in even at night which is really nice. They are a bit flexible with the check out time too. You can store the luggage at the reception, in case you have a flight at a later time and want to explore more. Scooters available for rent at a really reasonable price and the scooter we rented was the best one we rented in all of Vietnam.

There's no lift, if you have heavy luggage good luck dragging it through all those floors and dragging it back down during check out. The bathroom didn't have shampoo or shower gel, all the other hostels I visited do so thought of mentioning.

This is probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s super clean, the beds are spacious and the room has so much space. It really feels new and was a pleasure to sleep there. The staff were also super friendly and the location is great! So many nice restaurants outside the hostel and it’s also super close to the beach. There is also a socialising area with a few games and there’s a co-working space which is super nice.

It was a little quiet during my stay, however my friend went previously at it was busy when they were there. So I think I was just unlucky.

Everything. The staff were wonderful, the location was amazing right next to the beach and so many cute restaurants and shops nearby (our favourite was bikini bottom). The room was super spacious, clean and soundproof with the most comfortable beds ever. Super modern and bathroom was clean, modern shower with good water pressure. We would have extended our stay if we could and will definitely be staying here again when visiting da nang

ive stayed in 5 different hostel in Vietnam and this is my personal favorite. not necessarily build as a social hostel but i do meet a bunch of nice travelers here. we got to hangout at the lobby and explore Da Nang together. shoutout to Nathalie for being such a great host and really take care of all the guests. location’s walkable to anywhere with tons of cafes nearby, cute doggies, with 1 dorm of 6 people you get 1 shared & clean bathroom, i personally love the stairs to the top bunk cause i dont have to climb up and down and disturb the bottom bunk. i highly recommend this place!!!!!

Great location. All kinds of shops right outside the hostel. The beach is at a walking distance. The owner is very helpful and would arrange for any necessities promptly. Located at a very lively street. The beds are very comfortable.

The AC needs to be repaired I guess? Or additional table fan needed in individual beds. It gets very difficult to sleep with curtains drawn specially for the beds in the corner during summers. Also there is no elevators in case someone is carrying huge suitcases, I didn’t carry any big luggage so I was fine but just keep it in mind while booking.

The staff who were so helpful even to the extent of refilling my water bottle for me. They also helped me book a last minute bus and supported me getting to the hospital. The cute dogs! I was even allowed to take them for a beach walk :) The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes from the beach and has a variety of excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. The facilities were so nice too- the bathroom was modern and clean & the rooms were spacious and comfortable!

The building always had cool AC, amazing wifi, wonderful &helpful staff &the location was amazing. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and the food around this hostel was probably the best prices i've seen in Vietnam by far. Huyen &the other 2 ladies downstairs were always willing to help and recommend new spots for you. Also, they have motorbikes for rent per day &also trips you can book like Bana Hills &Marble mountains..etc. I actually came back to Da Nang and stayed in this hostel twice. When I go back for a third time, I will be coming back to stay in this hostel- it's literally like my home Be aware that they have 2 dogs (Chili &Truffle). Chili has trauma with people so she is not as friendly but truffle is a bit friendlier once she gets used to you. Dont reach to pet too quick, she'll startle you

The staff are really helpful and friendly. It was really close to the beach, maybe a 5 mins walk. Lots of restaurants nearby and it’s only just across Bikini Bottom Express.

There were mosquitoes in the room. There was no hair dyer, you need to request it from the staff and return it after using.
