Amazing apartment-hotel! Spacious rooms, modern amenities and everything was spotless. Loved that the balcony had a screen door so we could have the breeze coming in without worries of any flies or mosquitos. Bathtub was humungous and hot water has excellent pressure. All the kitchen items were brand new! Location was excellent - a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The rooftop pool had a wonderful view and was a great place to relax. We will definitely book here again when we are in Da Nang.

The only thing that wasn't great about the stay here was that on the parallel street there is a restaurant that has live music every night from 9pm-11pm, and it is LOUD. There really is nothing that the hotel can do about this but it's just unfortunate that since the restaurant faces Taiyo, the noise levels during those hours are incredible high.

Such a lovely place. We had a two bedroom apartment and could see the ocean. It was new and clean and very comfortable. Having a washer and a dryer was great too. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. The location was fantastic with shops and restaurants all around us. Great stay.

It is a bit loud in the evening with live "singing" going on but stops at about 11pm. We use a white noise app and it blocked it out.

Likes: The staff were amazing for the entire 3 weeks of our stay. The breakfast was simple but consistently well presented and tasty. They always offered eggs cooked to order and soup made to order. The room (1 bedroom apartment) was great! Loved having a washer and dryer in the room. The full size fridge/freezer and mini stove was also much appreciated. The bathroom was awesome, providing a separate shower and bathtub. Also a bidet! The location was in a perfect spot for the “nomad’ area as well as numerous western food restaurants. Great spot for any type of cuisine. Only a few blocks from the beach. The value was also really good. Pricier than renting a 1 bedroom apartment but if you’re only planning on staying less than a month, it’s perfect. All and all, the Taiyo is a great find!

Only bummer was the size of the gym. The rooftop swimming pool is great but not many lounge chairs but really, the only downside was the small gym.

Everything works perfectly. Very well maintained and very well equipped. The staff is super helpful. Location is very central and also close to the beach.

Having breakfast and restaurant could be a plus. They are serving breakfast that they outsource, but it takes time to arrive. Quality is very correct, but not préparons the spot.

Wonderful laundry washer and dryer in room with laundry soap available for a reasonable price from the front desk. The kitchen area includes dish soap and filtered water. Comfortable beds and couch. Convenient location close to restaurants and the beach. Rotation of breakfast foods. Workout room air-conditioned. Close to a convenience store.

Poorly designed shower with a ledge that funnels water onto the floor. The breakfast variety was average. Very small workout room but extra area to use on the adjacent pool deck. Area bar music every night was fairly loud.

I can’t praise the staff of this hotel enough. Of course, the gym, rooftop pool, and exceptional cleaning standards are excellent. But what truly sets this place apart is how they make guests feel at home. I gave 5 stars, but they deserve 6 – the team goes above and beyond, paying attention to personal details and remembering all the small quirks and preferences that make each stay special. From reception to breakfast staff to housekeepers, everyone works in sync to deliver a seamless, warm, and personalised experience. It’s this thoughtful, united approach that makes all the difference

Location was fantastic. 2 minute walk to the beach and close to popular pick-up locations for tour buses. You can easily walk towards the town/away from the beach too and explore more local restaurants.

It is the only single nice building surrounded by a lot of construction and run down buildings. Can't really blame the hotel for this, I'm sure everything including the surrounds will feel more nicer in future. But stepping out at times there are a lot of garbage trucks, carts and random noise activities because this hotel sits in a corner adjacent to laneways and some unused/run-down lots of land. Also, unless you get to the roof-top, you don't really get a 'beach view' as this hotel sits about 2 streets away from the beach with buildings in between. From the highest level/rooftop, you can just see the top half of the sea and top of the palm trees along the beach. The hotel is only about 7 floors high including the rooftop pool.

We loved this apartment hotel! So spacious, comfortable bed, great lighting. Booked it for the washer, dryer, kitchenette and location. Easy to walk to the beach. It was my birthday while I was there and they left me a cake on the coffee table which was delicious and so greatly appreciated!

More chairs by the pool please, and a small folding chair for the balcony would be nice. The hotel cannot help this but there is much construction in the area. I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't really bother me. Hopefully the new buildings do not block the ocean view.

prime location, very near to the beach and lot of eateries around friendly staff nice and comfortable stay

Access to stroller is not there, every time we have to lift and specially it's very difficult when baby is sleeping. Compact, not considered as studio ideal for couples only. small flying insects may be due to plants in balcony.

We loved the 2 BRM style accommodation with the separate kitchen and lounge area, and also the full size fridge was a bonus too. The bathroom was not a winner in our opinion as we're a bit older and climbing into a bathtub to take a shower was not ideal. One of the biggest downfalls of this accommodation was the markets across the road that has a band playing most nights of the week till 10.30 11.00 and so if you're someone that goes to bed before that forget it, its soooo loud. Apart from those little things i would recommend this place for younger people as the location is good and its close to pubs, restaurants
