It had the beautiful lake view as seen in the photos! The room was cozy and the inside looked like a brand new interior - everything was clean and neat. A/C was great as well. In a walking distance, there were several cafes where I enjoyed Vietnamese black coffee, having a seat with the lake view. If you like to stay in a quiet and cozy area with a lake view, iRest Orange'd be your best choice. In addition, the hotel provides with taxi service between the hotel and the airport, which is more convenient and cheaper than other taxi services.

Since it has some distance from Hoan Kiem and other travel spots, I had to use Grab whenever I went to somewhere else. But it was easy to have a Grab driver from the hotel.

Loved the decor, and the rooms were really big. The staff were helpful and friendly. Also handy having a washing machine and dryer available onsite. I didn’t mind that it was out of the city because it was quieter and it’s cheap to get a grab to get around. I also asked for 2 room keys so I could keep the air con on whilst I was out all day. Otherwise the rooms get very warm and take a while to cool down.

My only suggestion would be to put a blind/curtain in the kitchen window of the standard one bedroom apartment for more privacy cause people can see through the window.

Great clean and spacious apartment located along the lake on a small little island in a very quiet and charming part of Hanoi, away from the noisy streets of the Old Quarter and French Quarter. I'm traveling to Ha Long Bay and SaPa and I've been using this place as my base in Hanoi when I return to the city and I'm able to leave some luggage there while I'm traveling. There's also dozens of little cafes located on the island and one very good vegan restaurant that I've been eating at for lunch or dinner meals.

Aside from the little vegan restaurant located about a 1 minute walk away, there wasn't any other restaurants nearby, especially restaurants that served breakfast. I had to take a Grab to the Old Quarter where I had breakfast at Hanoi Coffee Culture restaurant. I did start buying breakfast foods and made breakfast and coffee at the apartment, which is something I would suggest for longer stays.

This was the cheapest place we stayed at during our trip in Vietnam, but it was also the biggest room and the nicest room we stayed at. Very clean, beautiful decor, very spacious, great appliances. If I had known beforehand I would have stayed here longer! The pictures do not do it justice!

If they added some hand towels for the bathroom, it would be perfect! Other than that: Great

Love this place. This was my second time staying here as I used it as my base when I went to Ha Long Bay and was able to leave some luggage there and returned to Hanoi to stay another night at iRest Orange. Very friendly staff and amazingly beautiful rooms with a modern design. One of my favorite features is the free washer and real dryer to do laundry. Location is also great, located along the lake on a little inlet island and it’s super quiet day and night. Unlike the Old Quarter or French Quarter which can be very noisy and crowded. There’s also a little vegan restaurant about a 2 min walk from iRest with delicious healthy food called An Chay.

Everything about it was great. If I had to say one thing that I didn’t like was that I wish I would have stayed longer.

It was really good. The security & the front desk staff were both so sweet and hospitable. Also the room was really clean & looked the same as pictures. It was easy to get a taxi and travel to & from the city.

There isn’t really a lobby. The entrance is downstairs almost like in a basement or garage but as soon as you get by that, everything is perfect! Also if you want things like food items or daily necessities, it’s best to buy them before you return because there arent many convenient shops around. Also at times, the hot water would go away.

The room was exactly as described and depicted by the pictures. That's why I didn't bother to take any of my own to post here. Staff and security were very friendly, helpful and nice. They helped arrange taxi pick up from airport, restaurant reservations, et al. It's everything you would expect from a property.

There's isn't anything to dislike aside from the fact that it is very far from the old and french quarters. It's a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions.

Beautiful decor, just like the pictures. Nice lighting. Very quiet in the night, as it's tucked away from the main street. A lot of cafes and eateries nearby. Washing machine was great, they sell detergent at the reception. The city view was pretty decent, you can see a small part of the lake (from the room on 7th floor). Good kitchen supplies, we were able to cook for a few days, mostly boiled stuff (non-stick pan was not there) and salads. No mold smell, good water pressure. Highly recommend!

-There was a misunderstanding about the price of the motorbike we rented from them, we spoke on the phone and didn't have written confirmation, so ended up paying much more than expected. This could have been avoided by paying in advance and not at the end of the 6 days. (Or get the price in written) -The bathroom is a bit older and less fancy compared to the rest of the apartment, it could use some tlc, but everything functioned properly. -The main gate closes at 11 pm so you need to ring the bell and the security man will open it for you. Not a huge issue, but he was not very happy to wake up from his sleep at 11:30 to open the gate for us. He was mumbling something in Vietnamese...

Very comfortable and spacious home in a quiet location with lovely lakeside views - highly recommend if you would like to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town.

Toilet drainage is unfortunately not as strong as Western style systems - may have to wait a few minutes before flushing again.

The rooms were very spacious and very clean! Incredible rates that were very affordable. Vietnam can be non stop even through the night but where this place is located it was very quiet at night. Rooms either had a great view and or the others were a little more spacious with a washer in the unit with dryers right outside the door. They had the nicest staff who helped out so much and were very accommodating. I was there for a friends wedding and the front desk girl even helped us load the car and called us cabs to get to the venue when our rides fell through. Definitely going back and staying there again!

Only thing, was on the last couple days there was a dog outside that barked a bit in the morning but it was out of their control, probably just a neighborhood dog. Honestly nothing to complain about. For how loud some of those streets in the city can get it was still a great experience.
