I spent 4 nights in a Pacific Club Room (with Executive lounge access) Although the hotel is a couple of years old, my room and bathroom were in tip top condition. Everyday I enjoyed the included afternoon tea, while in the evenings those present enjoyed tasty snacks with a large selection of wine, beer and other drinks to choose from. What impressed me the most, was the personal attention given to me by the hostesses, Zen and Linh amongst others who ensured that I received the required service and snacks promptly. The Pan Pacific hotel is right on West Lake. Hop on Hop Off buses stop near the hotel. There are several mini markets, pharmacies, beauty and massage shops nearby. It is safe to walk around the hotel day or night. Very important is the fact that the rooms are soundproof. I slept like a happy baby every night. The views from the Summit on the 20th floor are almost overwhelming( when the weather is not foggy😇) I also visited the sauna and jacuzzi on the 4th floor, on 2 occasions.

1) toilet has no bidet 2) doorman / front door crew - felt rude, no greetings or smile, was busy talking to some one instead of opening the door for me (3rd Oct night). Was not offered help to carry luggage (4th Oct morning) Not sure if it is the way I dress / look or skin color Day 1 staff was professional and polite

The hotel is well located by the lake. There are good restaurants on site. Service is very good overall. In particular, the Chinese restaurant on the first floor stands out.

The hotel is visibly dated. The team tries hard to keep it running, but bathrooms look like they have been built in the early 1990s and not renovated ever since. The overall design also goes back to 1990s (or so it feels). In short, it is a functioning 5* property with good service but not a "wow".

Stuffy air-conditioning in room and soft uncomfortable pillows and very old soft mattress made sleeping exceptionally difficult.

Breakfast was excellent - huge range of options. Staff in the Club lounge were excellent. Food offerings in club lounge was limited compared with other hotel chains. Concierge & front desk staff were very helpful

Hotel is lovely, staff are helpful, friendly and super polite. We had the pool and gym pretty much to ourselves. The facilities are fantastic, biggest gym in a hotel we have ever seen, sauna was great to relax in before a long haul flight. Other room service food was fine and the rooftop bar was fantastic!

The food. Don't get the pancakes they are inedible we sent them back. Admittedly we were ordering al-la-carte after breakfast had closed but I would say these had been made at 7am and left in a warming drawer. Other room service food was fine and the rooftop bar was fantastic so not really a big deal :)

- perfect location with convenient stores, cafe and restaurants around - nice lake view, can go for a walk when weather is pleasant - very friendly and helpful staff, if you order food on Grab they can actually deliver to your room, some of the other hotels i stayed in Vietnam usually call me to go down and collect the food by myself - love the desk against the big window with nice view and sunlight

- in-room facility is a bit old really - mattress not comfortable enough compared with other newer rooms - you can not open the window, for those who need some fresh air this might be a concern

Great 5 star hotel with exceptional service! The concierge was very helpful and the staff very attentive. We had the room with a view to the temple in the water, very beautiful. Bed was very comfortable. We also tested the varm inside pool which was great, and the sauna and hot jacuzzi. And I had a very good massage. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come again!

Lake view was plus and near to the old quarters. Hotel and room was clean. Room was spacious. Staff were helpful and attentive. Wide spread of food for the buffet. The wellness centre where I had a massage was fantastic.

The shower area had water clogging. Water cannot be totally drained.
