Great place for the price. I stayed first in the standard budget room, but it was too basic for me and didn't smell good, so I moved to the better (more expensive) room with the nice view and more spacious with the nice design. However, the other part of the hotel (with no view) is quiter. Just heads up if that's your priority. Lots of nice coffee shops in the area, more peaceful than the old quarter. However still some noise from the streets, but it's just the city, so if you want something very quiet you need to stay far away from the centre. Location is walking distance to the old quarter, so I was satisfied.

The stay was great! I had a great time with my friend and the room was very cute. The owner is really sweet and helps you every time. The location is peaceful as well in bustling Hanoi city!

One thing that could be improved is the washroom. It was a bit stuffy maybe putting a conditioner fan/ exhaust or something might help but based on the setup of the homestay. I also think people find it inconvenient to climb the stairs but I do like the rustic feel better of the homestay very home-like! Maybe the pricing for the lake view room could be less but it's all good overall!

Staff were so lovely and helpful. Anh helped us with a different booking by calling the next hotel for us. Another lady offered me beer and peanuts while I was sitting in the common area. Facilities were good, we had access to a full kitchen and laundry. Location is great, lots of nice restaurants and shops in walkable distance

The view to the lake is beautiful, in a well located area, not noisy and in a walking distance to the main downtown highlights. Our room was pretty clean and it was confortable, the bed soft enough. The staff was absolutely nice. Lan, the front desk person in charge, was helping us a lot! She left us keep our baggage in the hostel a couple of days while we were finishing our northern Vietnam trip. The laundry service is included and there is a vegan restaurant in the ground floor, which we recommend because is delicious and has fair prices.

Really nice place in a calm area. We liked the location by the lake a lot. The area around the accomodation is pretty local, and there’s 10 minutes walk to the center. We got really good help from the accomodation to plan our future travels and to buy a Vietnamese SIM card etc. It was also really nice and easy to use the washing machine. A really easy going and nice place!

There was a lot of noice from other rooms and the hallway, but we read this already before coming, so it was no problem :) And the bathroom floor was often really wet as well.

The staff were really helpful. Even if we arrived 5 hours before our check in the lady helped us and took care of our luggage. When we returned to our room, she already brought in the room for their safety. The communication was perfect. The Autumn Homestel provides you with everything that is on the booking facilities. There is laundry, kitchen, water, some food in the kitchen and the location next to the lake is amazing.

We were allotted room 601. Hanoi Bus station, Old quarter approx 10 km, 5 km respectively. We had made Mua Cave tour by self using public transportation (Bus) as hotel location was in convenient place not faced any problems at all. Also Hanoi airport approx. 35 km away and was easily feasible by Grab taxi.

Bath room or wash room was quite small. But okay for solo traveler who can accept adjustments.

Loved the location of this property, a bit out of the centre of Hanoi but really easy to get taxis into the centre. A quiet stay but worked really well for us. The free laundry was a massive bonus for us! Only issue with this was that the cleaners also use the washing machine and dryer so it was busy throughout the day, we used it early morning and it was free then so this was perfect!

I absolutely loved our time in this charming homestay. This is located in the Quieter part of the city and is just a few kms away from Old Quarter Hanoi. The terrace has a great view of the lake and the kitchen utilities and laundry machine are at your disposal. Lan is a super helpful host and went out of her way to assist us with our queries and help make our stay more comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!

Lan is a very sweet woman and helped with everything until my taxi for airport. The location is wonderful with the lake just beside and several cafes and restaurants. The old quarter is also near. If you want to stay in a peaceful location but still close to the shopping areas, this homestay is a nice option. The rooms are clean with well functioning equipment.
