Our stay at The Five Suites Lilas in Hanoi was absolutely wonderful. The room was impeccably clean and equipped with truly outstanding furniture. Everything was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The attention to detail was impressive. The staff at the reception were all very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was adequate, and we appreciated that we could easily add extra egg variations if desired. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Everything was perfect! The only thing I would have wished for was some dishwashing liquid and a sponge.

Hotel location is great for families, its not as busy as some other parts of Hanoi but still only ~10min car ride from all the popular tourist spots and restaurants. Room is very modern and clean. Restaurant had a high chair available for infants/toddlers, we also requested a cot in our room for an infant and it was great. Note the wall sockets take local and EU/US type plugs, an adaptor is needed for AU/UK plugs.

We booked a suite with two bedrooms and that was a really good choice. The suite was lovely and had a great balcony and view. The breakfast was nice with decent options (omelette,.pho, etc). The entire hotel has Japanese toilets which is an interesting experience. When we left, we could leave the luggage with them for a full day until our evening flight.

There were quite some ants in the kitchen area of our suite. Even after the staff came to clean they kept coming back. The location is nice for the West Lake but not for the old quarter.

Perfectly located in the area near Truc Bach, quick grab to all the sights and old quarter but quiet and out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Rooms are very modern and met expectations based on photos. Good dining and drink options nearby. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast.

Minor nitpick but the lighting in the bathroom is not very good for putting on makeup.

Excellent. Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Staff were great and accommodating of our requests. Breakfast was lovely and delicious. Hotel must be new as all the upholstery, carpets etc were clean and not stained. Beds were comfy as well. Ten min ride to old quarter but easy to get to. Nice restaurants, cafes and mini marts around the hotel. Highly recommend and we will be back.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. We walked and walked through town. The room is really a full apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked and even has a full size refrigerator and an oven - a rarity in my experience in Asia. It’s such a beautiful place. I will be back.

The staff were oddly distant as though they had somewhere better to be. I’m sure they do but it’s a funny way to treat guests.

Perfect location! Lovely local coffee places and restaurant, takeaways just around the corner, lovely to walk around the lake that we loved them. You have everything at least in your room what you need. Peaceful and quiet in the night. We are so much appreciated for friendly stuff who helped our stay special in Hanoi! Amazing views from our room on the 10th floor A huge suite on the 10th floor exceeded our expectations, thanks to an upgrade Very friendly staff who were professional and friendly

It would have helped to either have the washing machine in our room or more than 1 washer / dryer in the communal laundry area

Everything was amazing. Such a beautiful hotel! Large modern room, great location, close to heaps of cafes, restaurants etc and only a short grab to main areas, I wish we could have stayed for longer, will definitely book again!
