I liked staying here. The food was great and most of the staff were very polite HOWEVER, when we were on our way to the aiport at 4am, the receptionist was asleep behind the desk. We did not see him, so we left the room key on the desk and was about to leave. Just as our grab driver was collecting our baggage, the receptionist barged out of the hotel and started screaming at us, demanding that we should check out properly and that the room had to be checked out first to see if we used anything from the bar fridge. Note that my credit card details were on file in case they needed to charge anything, as you would in any OTHER hotel. Please note that we did NOT use anything that would be charged to our room. They would not let us leave and our grab driver almost took off with our luggage! It was a very stressful experience for us. The receptionist also added that WE were supposed to wake him up?! I’m sorry, but I do not get paid to wake you up, sir! Why are you sleeping on the job? Kind regards, Stressed out guests.

We liked the location, short grab ride from the old quarter, quite area near the lake, lots of places to eat/ grab a coffee nearby. The staff were very friendly, good choice for breakfast - freshly cooked eggs were delicious. The rooms were comfortable and ours were cleaned on two afternoons of our 3 night stay. Bathrooms are a bit tired, not a new as photos would suggest, some patches of damp mould but were clean and well supplied. My son had an accident while we were staying at the hotel, he slipped and banged his head while getting into the pool- he needed stitches on his head. The staff were so good in helping us, they arranged a car to take us to hospital and offered to pay the hospital bill when we returned, they were very concerned and all checked in with us the next day to make sure he was okay. Thank you all for your help and kindness.

Unfortunately the Aircon was not working in one of our two rooms , but there was a fan supplied which did us fine. The pool is a good size and my kids enjoyed it after hot days exploring the city but it definitely needs to be cleaned, the water was very murky! There is no rooftop bar.

Luxe Paradise was a fantastic place to stay in Hanoi. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a small balcony overlooking a lovely tree-lined street — it really felt like home. I loved watching the local goings-on below and soaking in the atmosphere. The location is ideal: just on the edge of the Old Quarter, so it’s easy to explore but a bit calmer. There’s even a cute little bookstore across the road. The rooftop view is great, and breakfast each morning was top notch. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy to assist with any small requests. Special thanks to Long and Trung, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Nice hotel. A little disappointed with the pool and roof top bar...there was no roof top bar.

I stayed here for a week and loved it so much I came back for another! Hands down the best place to stay for the price in Hanoi, it’s close to everything, with great restaurants and local shops just around the corner. A huge shoutout to Long, who truly went above and beyond. He made sure everything was perfect during my stay, took the time to chat with us in depth, and honestly felt more like a friend than just a staff member. The place itself is fantastic - clean, comfortable, and welcoming and with people like Long on the team, it’s no wonder it stands out. He’s a real asset to the place.

It was a very pleasant stay. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of options. The location was really convenient for us; it’s about 20 to 25 minutes walks to the Old Quarter. A positive aspect is that you are away from the traffic, allowing you to truly enjoy the quietness at night for a good sleep, without starting and ending the day with Hanoi’s crazy traffic.

The gym was okay, but I would have liked it if they had a mat and towels available. The treadmill needed fixing. As for the swimming pool, I’m not sure whether to blame the hotel for neglecting the area and the cold water, or if it’s just because Hanoi’s weather isn’t ideal for an outdoor pool.

Stayed here 3 nights before taking the train from Hanoi to Danang. The location is okay. Not in the Old Quarter, so the prices are slightly lower but still close enough to even walk or take a cheap ride. The hotel is a standard "slim" type building very common in Vietnam, with multiple floors, with lifts and stairs. Our room was okay-ish for 2 people, with great amenities. The bed was comfortable, there was no noise coming from outside or from inside the hotel, so you won't need earplugs (some hotels have horrible sound proofing even though they say it's soundproofed). The bathroom was well equipped and clean. The breakfast happens in a room under the lobby, easy to access with the lift. The seating is a bit limited because of the size of the room. The selection of food is okay, so is the quality. You'll be able to find your type of breakfast, cereals, fried stuff, yogurts, rice, soups, juices and many more things. There is a gym, and also spa access but haven't tried those. There's also a pool on the top floor with a view. The hotel also offers early check-in and check-out (for a fee, 50% or 100% of room rate depending on the length) in case you want to leave later, which came in handy when the train was at 19:00.

The water in the pool was a cloudy, didn't look or feel super clean.

Great location near the lake and loads of restaurants and cafes. The small rooftop swimming pool is great for relaxing while taking in a fantastic view of the city from above. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is not bad. The staff, especially Vincent, was helpful and courteous. We went to Cat Ba for a couple of days, and they let us leave our suitcases with them before checking in, so we could travel light. I’d recommend getting a room with a view (as opposed to one without a window). Our room was fairly priced, and I enjoyed my stay here. I’d happily come back next time I visit Hanoi.

The motel was placed in the heart of Pham Hong Thai St, right off main st yet the building blocks the hustle and bussle from the streets. The motel was very busy which added to the stay and meeting people from around the world. We added breakfast and glad we did, they provided local cuisine and also available was western style breakfast cooked fresh in minutes, we also had one dinner at the restraunt which was 100% Delicious. The beds were comfy the shower had good pressure, the staff were so nice. We used most of the amenities, gym, spa, laundry. Wifi was also very efficent. Bruce the manager assisted in our Itinerary and got us some very good deals. We highly recommend staying....

Nothing as our stay was very pleasurable

I’m really recommend this jolted to those wanted to stay a few streets out of the way of noisy and busy old quarter. The hotel service was superb! Jasmine at reception and Tim the bus boy were very lovely and approachable. Tim even took initiative in showing me how to be safe in the area, as I was a solo female travelling. Jasmine was always joy to see. And the rest of the staff were also just as welcoming and friendly. A great group of people who were always ready to help me on my solo adventure. The room was nice, clean and styled well! I really appreciate the good working shower, and complimentary teas and coffees in the room. Bed was quite comfortable, and the turnover service was always thorough and consistent. The location was ideal as you could get a Grabb taxi very easily for $1. Or walk 5-10mins to Old quarter. The breakfast buffet was more than ideal. And made for a great start of the day. I didn’t use the pool, but the rooftop was a nice spot to rest and catch some sun after a long day. All in all, I had a great time here, and can’t wait to go back!
