I liked staying here. The food was great and most of the staff were very polite HOWEVER, when we were on our way to the aiport at 4am, the receptionist was asleep behind the desk. We did not see him, so we left the room key on the desk and was about to leave. Just as our grab driver was collecting our baggage, the receptionist barged out of the hotel and started screaming at us, demanding that we should check out properly and that the room had to be checked out first to see if we used anything from the bar fridge. Note that my credit card details were on file in case they needed to charge anything, as you would in any OTHER hotel. Please note that we did NOT use anything that would be charged to our room. They would not let us leave and our grab driver almost took off with our luggage! It was a very stressful experience for us. The receptionist also added that WE were supposed to wake him up?! I’m sorry, but I do not get paid to wake you up, sir! Why are you sleeping on the job? Kind regards, Stressed out guests.

It was a very pleasant stay. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The breakfast was good, offering a variety of options. The location was really convenient for us; it’s about 20 to 25 minutes walks to the Old Quarter. A positive aspect is that you are away from the traffic, allowing you to truly enjoy the quietness at night for a good sleep, without starting and ending the day with Hanoi’s crazy traffic.

The gym was okay, but I would have liked it if they had a mat and towels available. The treadmill needed fixing. As for the swimming pool, I’m not sure whether to blame the hotel for neglecting the area and the cold water, or if it’s just because Hanoi’s weather isn’t ideal for an outdoor pool.

I’m really recommend this jolted to those wanted to stay a few streets out of the way of noisy and busy old quarter. The hotel service was superb! Jasmine at reception and Tim the bus boy were very lovely and approachable. Tim even took initiative in showing me how to be safe in the area, as I was a solo female travelling. Jasmine was always joy to see. And the rest of the staff were also just as welcoming and friendly. A great group of people who were always ready to help me on my solo adventure. The room was nice, clean and styled well! I really appreciate the good working shower, and complimentary teas and coffees in the room. Bed was quite comfortable, and the turnover service was always thorough and consistent. The location was ideal as you could get a Grabb taxi very easily for $1. Or walk 5-10mins to Old quarter. The breakfast buffet was more than ideal. And made for a great start of the day. I didn’t use the pool, but the rooftop was a nice spot to rest and catch some sun after a long day. All in all, I had a great time here, and can’t wait to go back!

Very comfy bed. Good air con. Good gym facilities. All of the staff were great throughout our stay. The young boy who worked the breakfast shift was especially friendly and helpful. We were also allowed a late check out and to leave our bags in the hotel until we had to go to the airport. The rooftop has amazing views and is a great space with a good sized pool. Our room was cleaned daily and the cleaners were so friendly making the room so fresh each day.

The room was not exactly what I was expecting. From the photos provided I thought the balcony would be bigger but it was still a lovely room and a good space.

I recently stayed at lux paradise and had a wonderful experience. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making my stay very comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to a lot of landmarks, transportation, or amenities nearby, if applicable The staff truly stood out especially Thanh (the lady at the reception )—they were not only helpful but also professional, always ensuring that my needs were met promptly and courteously. Their attention to detail and warm demeanor made a big difference in my overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. I would definitely return on my next visit!

Beautiful hotel, very stylish and well designed. Room was very nice, spacious, with reasonable views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, not too far from all the major sights but not crazy busy like in the old quarter. Close to the lake which is surrounded by lovely coffee shops and restaurants. The pool was great to cool down and watch the sunset from the rooftop. Buffet breakfast was well stocked.

The pool area was a bit bland, would be nice to have some plants. Rooms could be a little noisy at night - not so much street noise, but noise from other guests in the corridor travelled in.

Very attentive personnel, comfortable and spacious rooms, very good breakfast, great rooftop terrace with a swimming pool, very nice massage in the spa.

It seems the hotel is slightly understaffed, there was no one on the rooftop, so one had to go down to the reception to order drinks etc. There was also usually no one permanently in the restaurant part and one had to ask the reception if ordering food was possible. Similarly, the barman would leave quite early so it wasn't possible to get drinks in the evening. That being said, the staff that was around was extremely kind and helpful, I think the hotel should just invest in a few more employees.

A special shoutout to An and Tim at the front desk—they were absolutely fantastic! Both were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was answering my questions, providing recommendations, or just greeting me with a warm smile, their service truly stood out. The rest of the staff were equally professional, and the overall service was impeccable.

The location was really good, only 20 min walk from Old Quarter. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and available. The shower was really pleasant and the room felt elegant and cozy. The breakfast was great, we liked it very much.

I feel like it was a little bit overpriced considering average prices in Vietnam. Also the room was clean but not spotless - in some areas there was dust on the floor and counters but fair enough. Another thing I wish was different was the breakfast times - they shut at 9:30 so we had to wake up early to eat.

Amazing staff, breakfast and location. I had a really nice stay. The roof top area with pool is amazing for sunset with great views of the lake. The breakfast was buffet with western and Asian dishes. It was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean, albeit a bit small. The location is about 20 mins walk from the Old Quarter so it is a lot calmer. It’s a short cab ride costing about 30k dong if you don’t want to walk. The staff were amazing. Very attentive and always checking if you are ok. Would definitely stay again.

Forgot to mention it at the time, but the treadmill isn’t working well.
