It's no 5 star hotel but offers fantastic value for your money. Comparable to decent budget hotel at hostel prices. Great location. Staff are kind and friendly and breakfast is decent even if it lacks variety. No elevator but luggage can be lifted via motorized cable. Rooftop patio is an interesting space but would be better if there were an electrical outlet, a vending machine or something, as it is now its hard to justify the trip up so many stairs. Highly recommend for a budget conscious tourist!

The location was perfect, many restaurants and stores in the surrounding area. Everything important was in walking distance. The staff was super friendly and helpful, whenever we needed additional drinking water we got them with no extra charge. The included breakfast was simple but delicious, we got to choose between bread, fried noodles and noodle soup. The shower was separated from the toilet which we liked as it is not common in Vietnam. Overall a good place to stay for a short amount of days.

The flushing of the toilet was a bit weak, the wifi was slow, the power sockets were bit lose.

The hotel was very clean, little extras such as toothbrush, shampoo, mineralwater, etc were provided without any charge. Staff was always available, super friendly and very kind. The view from the 5th floor was phenomenal! Beds were really comfortable. Huge +: lift for your backpack

Ally to the hotel was really dark which makes it a bit uncomfortable. You can not lock the door to the room and the bathroom door wouldn't close properly. Because of the location it was a little bit noisy but we could deal with it.

Room was decent and clean. The property was overall a little small in size. The breakfast was sufficient and filling although not a lot of options. Better to go with the traditional Vietnamese dishes for breakfast rather than continental options. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They pointed us to all the areas to visit on a map of Hanoi City which helped us plan our itinerary. The property is located in a very accessible area with lots of shops and main areas to visit within walking distance (max. 15mins). Other areas can be accessed via Grab.

When I'm rating, I try to give an honest review. I also own properties on booking.com and have an idea of how it works. Here's how Mt experience went. I booked last minute (same day booking), and received all the necessary information to find the accommodation. The hotel has 7 floors. It's possible that you may need to walk up to the 6th or 7th floor. They'll use a lift to take your luggage up. I don't recommend booking the regular suites. They're going to be prone from the noise from the lift (my experience from staying there a year ago). Book the deluxe suite. They didn't push any activities or tours to me. A lot of other hotels do this and it's quite uncomfortable. They also didn't suggest a taxi, which was ok for me. But if you need one, they'll be sure to help with it. I don't like when the hotels and pushing taxis and activities, because it's actually more expensive than booking directly. So this hotel was great. Rooms were very clean, and my ratings here aren't going to be compared to 5 star boutique resorts. When you're rating, be realistic and rate according to how much you pay. I got the place cheap, and it surpassed my expectations. The location isn't very noisy though it's near the party street. I'd stay here again when I return.

- The windows do not close all the way, leaving a gap and you can hear the noises coming from the party street nearby - Breakfast is ridiculous – one of the options is: 2 eggs, 1 baguette, 1 banana and something that looks like coffee. After the first day we had our breakfasts at the Little HaNoi Egg Coffee – highly recommend!!! - A lot of stairs - Beds are very hard   - Internet was horrible. I managed to use the “Rooftop 5G” – Pass: 79797979 - The hotel uses a motor pulley system for the luggage because there is no lift. This is extremely loud - once they used it at 23:00 and once at 08:00 and I am sure they woke up the entire hotel, not just us. So it has its pros and cons.

The biggest advantage by far is the location, which is a great hub for sightseeing and especially nightlife in Bui Vien. The room was smaller than the pictures showed, but it was still fully adequate for 2 people. As for cleanliness it was acceptable, but there are still many elements to be improved. There was a stain on the bedding, there was a fungus in the corner of the room, and the bathroom also felt that it had not been refreshed for a long time. The breakfast selection was poor, but the fried noodles were tasty and the portion was adequate. The staff, despite the language barrier, was helpful and assisted with the following without any problems: arranging excursions, buying a SIM card and printing boarding passes before departure.

As I mentioned above - the cleanliness of the room leaves a little to be desired. A big problem for some may be the lack of elevators, but in our case the second floor did not cause problems. The view from the window was also terrible, as it was pointing directly into a residential building just 3 meteres across the alley, so you are unable to open curtains at any point, unless you want to be seen by other people. One can also complain about the comfort of the bed, which was of Japanese standard - very hard. Maybe not very comfortable, but at least healthy for the spine:)

The staff are super helpful and the location is great, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. It in a small alley off a main street which is convenient and silent at night. There are lots of markets, cafes, and restaurants around, and you can walk to all main tourist sights.

It's an old building so we had a third floor without elevator which was exhausting after a day of walking in the Vietnamese heat (and there were more floors above us). They do have a pulley to bring the bags up and down for guests which is super comfortable, but bear the stairs in mind if it is important to you.

The hotel is in a great location, in an area full of hostels and backpackers. The hotel is very clean, and the staff was very helpful with everything, from booking daily tours to asking me if I needed anything. One day I felt sick and they offered me some fruits which was really nice. The facilities are really good and I overall really recommend it.

Two main things: the breakfast and the wifi. The wifi was not reliable at all, sometimes it worked, but most of the time I had to use my SIM card data. If you have lots of data this is not a problem. The breakfast was not very good, eggs were dry and the noodles too. One side-note, there's a chicken or a bird somewhere in the neighborhood that starts making noises early in the morning, but if you stay in the area, you will probably hear it.
