Storybook beautiful, true to its name, a perfect, welcoming Zen-like retreat. Quiet, peaceful, delightful! Room and grounds were clean. Every detail seemed lovingly considered, wonderful breakfast looking out at the property with fresh fruit and the best Vietnamese coffee, a gorgeous pool area that was so inviting, and in our room, a carved wooden bathtub! At night the entire grounds are warmly lit, including the sweet boardwalk that extends into the lake, and the little thatched roof huts (one is a library with comfy chairs and books in multiple languages!). The place feels magical! The staff were so helpful and felt like friends by the end of the stay. Nice bikes for us to use at no cost, lots of help and extra care with booking local experiences, and a scooter rental right on site. Easy to get to town. Restaurants, spa and stores for snacks right up the street! An unforgettable stay!

We loved everything!

This hotel gave us the Wow factor. Separate areas on stilts in a lake, for eg bar in one location, walk a few feet and another hut with the library, the next one I did my yoga practice and the next you can eat out on. The pool is big and clean, gorgeous beds to lay out on. Rooms were big and clean. The breakfast is delicious. We didn't want to leave. The owner was so helpful booking a private driver and tour for us. We appreciated the kind staff so much. If you come to Hoi An, STAY HERE! 12min moped ride to the beach, you can rent bike off hotel. Short trip into a bustling town. And come back here to rest. It really is Zen. Thank you 🙌🏼✨

Everything was honestly perfect. I loved being in the countryside with the nature

We loved it so much! Wish we could stay longer. The location is perfect. So close to the coconut village that is the reason we booked it. We travel full time so most of the time we don’t feel like we are on a vacation but at Zen we felt so relaxed. The pool was a really good size, the property is really lovely. Breakfast was simple but good to have. We had dinner at a restaurant near by where it was cash only. Zen retreat was kind enought to charge our credit card to pay cash to the restaurant owner so we do not have to bike ride for 2km. It was really nice of them. The hotel is new and well taken care of. We met of the owners she was so sweet. If you want to relax, its a pefect place. The old town anf the beach are just a 15min ride. We ordered Grab from the app it was only $4USD each way. Zen retreat is soooo worth it! We would stay there again!

We like the hotel very much. It is really a hidden gem and good value for money. We could taste the real Hoi An here. The location is not far from the center of Hoi An, so it is convenient to travel to popular places, but still quiet and peaceful. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery of Hoi An countryside: rice fields, rivers, coconut trees etc. We like the reading corner, the free bicycles, the simple but beautiful decoration, the nice pond with a basket boat for us to ride with fun, the beautiful gardens and flowers, the yoga place. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They helped us book the popular tours at cheaper than normal prices. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view is nice to the countryside of Hoi An.

It will be even better if there is a bit more variety for the breakfasts . However, they are still delicious and good value for money

We got airport pick up rearranged with the owner all went smoothly so we were very happy at the start. The resort is very nice, green, clean and feel relaxed, staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, comfortable and nice decor. We can use the bicycles or walk around to discover the neighbourhood which is very nice. Breakfast is a plus with different delicious food.

It’s a bit off the main touristy area (the old quarter) so not so many shops and restaurants around but if you love walking or running then it’s not a big problem.

A gorgeous collection of bungalows set around a lake and pool. Beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. Luan and her team go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy. Rooms are clean and well equipped. They offer advice on the local area, can organise moped hire, trips and spa treatments all of which we did and can highly recommend.

Had a great stay, they let us check in early after our night bus. It was nice and quiet, the pool was really clean and needed with the hot weather, the food was also really good especially the white rose dumplings. Although it's out of town it was easy to rent a bike which we took on a long journey to My Son. The mini fridge was also nice to have. The room was great too, clean and spacious with a great view. They did our laundry too.

The property is set in the perfect location between the Old Town and beaches. The grounds are beautifully designed and well maintained. Truly a perfect spot to relax and unwind from the stress of city life. The rooms are large, comfortable and well fitted. The bathroom has a wet floor shower and a hand crafted wooden bath tub great for those who love a soak

Nothing the hotel lived up to all our expectations

We had a fabulous time during our stay. The facilities were impressive, a bit of everything for everyone in family from toddlers to grandparents. It was a great contrast to city life abroad and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We didn’t even need to pay extra for anything else. The owner also came to greet us and it was a very personal touch. We could feel that the whole team at Zen put their heart and soul into making their guest visit the most comfortable one ever.

Beautiful spot just out of Hoi An main town, equal distance to town as it is is to An Bang beach. Was given space to relax as a solo traveller but the very friendly staff were also very accomodating when I had questions about local culture and things to do. Riding my provided bicycle around Hoi An through the rice fields and to An Bang beach each day and being able to come back and swim in the pool was a highlight!
