Staying at the Serene Nature Hotel in Hoi An felt less like a hotel visit and more like being welcomed into a family’s home—one where everyone works seamlessly together to make you feel genuinely cared for. From the moment we arrived, we experienced the kind of warm, personal attention that’s rare even in high-end resorts. The staff's kindness and attentiveness stood out in every interaction. They helped us book train tickets, offered thoughtful local tips, and always took time to ask how our day had been. One morning, after working late into the night and missing breakfast, they kindly insisted I have something to eat anyway—a gesture that perfectly sums up their heartfelt hospitality. The room we were given was simply beautiful: a spacious layout with a bathtub looking out over tranquil rice fields. Housekeeping worked like invisible elves—discreet and efficient. We never saw them, but each time we returned, the room was perfectly refreshed. The "Do Not Disturb" sign was genuinely respected, which, frankly, hasn’t always been the case in many five-star hotels we've stayed in. The location itself offers a peaceful contrast to the busier parts of Hoi An. Surrounded by nature and rice paddies, it’s the ideal place to unwind. Their free bikes were charming and practical, making it easy to reach the beach in about 20 minutes or Hoi An’s old town in just 10 to 15. Considering the price per night, we honestly couldn't find a single negative point. The value is exceptional, and we will without a doubt choose this place again when we return to Hoi An. What a gem! We had the BEST time at Serene Nature. Not only the hotel, but the staff makes the stay so special. Lily, Rosy, Sali, Cathryn, Peter and the others are so warm and welcoming. And they speak English very well! We stayed 2 weeks in Serene and they all feel like family. The hotel is perfectly located, just outside the busy town, surrounded by peacefull ricefields. You can use free bikes for a short ride to old town, Grabs are cheap too. The room is great! The beds are super comfy, shower is hot with plenty of pressure! We work online and the wifi is perfect for Zoom meetings, never had issues. We really enjoyed working in the restaurant, they have good americano's too. The breakfast is nice. Buffet style with lots of things to choose from and there's always some one cooking fresh eggs & noodle soups. Best price/quality you could wish for. Don't hesitate to book here!

Our flight experienced a seven-hour delay, resulting in a 1:00 AM check-in. However, the staff maintained excellent communication and provided a warm welcome. The hotel enjoys a central location between the beach and the old town, with taxi travel time to either destination estimated at eight to ten minutes. The room was spacious, the breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff demonstrated exceptional helpfulness and genuine kindness. While we did not utilize the spa facilities, the pool proved to be a highlight; it was large and maintained a comfortable temperature. The hotel's setting amidst rice paddies fostered a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, a welcome contrast to the potentially higher noise levels anticipated in hotels closer to the old town.

The hotel was a gem in the middle of nature. Surrounded by rice fields with wonderful views. We particularly enjoyed the free bikes and rode around the palm lined waterways to the beach. The pool is a good size and very welcome in the heat. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The best part of the hotel, however, was the friendly staff. They catered for our every need and went out of their way to chat.

There were no other restaurants in the immediate area but it was only a short taxi ride into Hoi An or Grab delivered.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight – so many options, and everything was delicious. What stood out the most was the warm and attentive service. The staff was incredibly kind to my mum, making sure she had everything she needed. They even helped us with some local recommendations for sightseeing, which made our trip so much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Serene Nature Hotel & Spa for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay with loved ones. We can't wait to come back!

I love this place!

The staff of the Serene Nature Hotel, welcomed us in their traditional way.They briefly explained about the attraction places and things to do in the city. They arranged for us the local taxis and they provided free cycles for all. This was amazing because Cycling through the paddy fields was awesome. Friendly staff and the breakfast was too good. The staff name called Sally Hoang was helpful in all topics related to travel in Vietnam. I strongly recommend this hotel for families and couples. Nice swimming pool and beautiful paddy fields around the hotel.

Everything I liked, nothing to complaint

This was by far the BEST SERVICE we have ever had. We want to thank the lovely staff. We appreciated their attentiveness to any and all requests and services. They helped with EVERYTHING! Lily welcomed us upon check-in and provided us with a list of recommendations around town. She also helped us in the rain as we requested to change our rooms on our first day. Then Rosie helped us change rooms a second time half way through our stay as well as per requested. The staff always brought food and drinks to our room if we wanted breakfast in bed and also when we had food and drinks delivered through Grab. The pool was lovely and due to the low season, we had the place mostly to ourselves. The facilities and the staff is what made our stay an unforgettable one! Thank you all! We were sad to say goodbye.

One thing to note is that this property is outside Old Town and in the countryside. In saying that, if you fear geckos, I would suggest staying in the city.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The building and interior design are modern and elegant, and the hotel is surrounded by lush green rice fields, offering breathtaking views from my room. The swimming pool was incredible, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. I was welcomed with a complimentary drink upon arrival and even received a free room upgrade. While swimming, they thoughtfully brought me a towel without me needing to ask. I also loved the free bikes available anytime, which made it easy to cycle to the old town and explore nearby restaurants.

The neighbor's rooster was unbearable, crowing nonstop from 3:30 AM to 8:30 AM—often four times per minute. While this was beyond the hotel's control, it led to two nights of disrupted sleep.

Cleanliness. Breakfast superb. Location just conveniently far enough away from the night market and busy centre of Hoi an but very easy to get to with free hotel bikes as were the beaches. Reported a bathroom fan not working and it was inspected and replaced within a couple of hours. Faultless service. We asked for information and advice on the remainder of our stay in Vietnam and Sally took it upon herself to basically sort the remainder of our trip! Sorted and booked train and ferry tickets and advised us on best places to stay and visit in Cam Toc and Hanoi. Really can’t thank her enough. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, wonderful bunch!
