New hotel in a lovely location with a great pool and spotless rooms. Ours had a lovely balcony overlooking the lotus fields. Staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast was authentic and made to order with delicious fruit.

A little out of the main areas, but fine with a scooter or bicycle. Hopefully Tam Coc river tours will improve on reopening as the rowers nearby were very very pushy and made us feel very uncomfortable. Much better experience at Trang An. The joy of this area is cycling through the beautiful scenery although Trang An boat tour was good. Also, don’t try to climb the mountain in the middle of the day when sunny in the summer! Learnt that the hard way.

The caretakers, hotel and location are truly perfect and we would highly recommend staying at the Lotus Hotel. The hosts are genuinely kind and so welcoming that we hope we can visit them again. The hotel is centrally located so you can easily bicycle or scooter to Tran An, Mua Cave and many great restaurants without having to use any highways so getting around is easy and feels safe.. The surrounding rice/lotus flower fields offer amazing views from the hotel room, beds are comfy, wifi is strong and the hotel and rooms are all very clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and felt like home! It is a family owned hotel which creates a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very kind and wants to help you whenever he can! We needed to do our laundry which cost only 30000 VND per kg. He took our clothes and washed them all, and we received it back smelling so good and folded nicely. Our room was big and spacious with a balcony. We could also use the bikes from the hotel for free to cycle around the place! It was so handy especially because Tam Coc is about 5 minute cycle from the hotel. Also, they have two cutest dogs that made the stay even better! We love dogs and we loved going downstairs being greeted by the dogs. One of the dogs is called Socola which means chocolate, so adorable! Breakfast was lovely, it felt like a breakfast at home. We had to choose breakfast the night before, there were a good few options to choose from. The next morning the breakfast of your choice was prepared fresh when you came down stairs. There was also a variety of fruit available for breakfast. Overall, we had a lovely stay, I would recommend staying there if you're in Ninh Binh, it's located in a more quiet area a bit out from Tam Coc but not far from it at the same time if you cycle or get a 'grab' which costs about 1/2 euro.

When taking a shower the floor was getting very wet as there was no curtain.

The hotel was beautiful I loved watching the rice paddies and lotus flower pond from the balcony The owners were so kind, even encouraging us to try pho for breakfast which was an experience. They cannot do enough for you. (Ps you don’t have to have pho for breakfast, the next day we had pancakes) There are free bikes It was a perfect stay. 10/10 😊 Lovely puppies and dog too!

We didn’t mind because you can book a £1 taxi but to consider you will have a taxi journey / bike ride / 20 min walk to the centre of Tam Coc

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lotus Hotel and I have to say, it was a very nice experience. The family that runs the hotel were incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We were greeted with a lovely tray of fresh fruit and tea upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The hotel also offers bikes for guests to use for free, which was handy for getting around the area. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a stunning view of the surrounding scenery. The lobby area was beautifully decorated and made for a nice spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The service we received during our stay was exceptional, with staff always on hand to help with any request. They even assisted us with ordering food delivery and taxis. Breakfast was great too, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Lotus Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. It's a lovely spot run by a very friendly family.

This delightful family run hotel has lovely views over the rice padis (when it is not lotus season!) The rooms are large and accurately described, especially in relation to size which is not common in Vietnam in our experience. All fittings are of the highest standard, the beds comfy and the pillows plush. Our room had a bath which had amazing views out to the rice fields! The service is amazing and friendly with all our requests accommodated including transport of various kinds. The breakfast is wonderful with a cold buffet together with hot dishes which you order the night before. Bikes are available for the 1.7km trip to Tam Coc. The description of some rooms as 'dorms' could be confusing. They are actually large family sized rooms with multiple beds as stated. We should have stayed much longer!

The room, the balcony, the breakfast, the puppies… Thanh, our host, was extremely accommodating, pleasant and easy to communicate with, and very kind. It felt like a very luxurious stay in Vietnam. It was really clean, which was quite the change from some other places we had stayed in around SE Asia. We rented motorbikes for 120k dong each for the day from the hotel, we got our laundry done same day, we got a nice breakfast each day, and Thanh was there any time we needed anything. Thank you Thanh and family for an incredible stay!!

everything was perfect

The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable bed and a good hot shower with great water pressure. Breakfast was yummy and made fresh in the morning (although is mostly Vietnamese options, with a couple of exceptions). The family that manages the place is very kind, super helpful and made sure everything worked great for us. you can also rent scooters from them and they will help you organise your trip if needed. Location is quiet and slightly further from the hustle and bustle but it is ideal to explore everything you need in the area and is close to restaurants and bars in Tam Coc.

The staff are so lovely and they have three very cute dogs. The location is fantastic, rent some scooters off them and explore the beautiful attractions/landscape. They will recommend places if you get stuck too. The room was beautiful, clean and they have a pool. The breakfast was very tasty as well. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, we were so sad when we had to leave. This is a real gem and our best hotel experience all holiday.
