We stayed 12 nights and enjoyed every minute in this lovely peaceful hotel overlooking the rice paddies. Our room with large windows was spotlessly clean, very spacious, lovely bathroom with good hot water, huge comfortable bed and a balcony. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious and also included pho, pancakes, noodles and eggs cooked to order. We also enjoyed freshly cooked delicious dinners several times during our stay. The hotel also supplies free bikes to ride to town and to ride through the rice paddies. The daily local market is just down the road across the main road 150m. We enjoyed the bikes but also hired a scooter through the hotel for 10 days… for a great price! Thankyou so much to the lovely friendly couple, Hong Van and Thanh, and all their staff, for making our stay so enjoyable. We really enjoyed your company and your beautiful doggies.

The place is lovely, the staff is lovely, the view from the balcony is lovely - I really enjoyed my time here. It’s super clean. The breakfast is yummy, and they have free bicycles for guests. The location is perfect because it’s off the touristy part, yet only 2km away from Tam Coc - I would go by bike there. And every where else it’s easily accessible by moto or taxi. The reception staff is super helpful with plans and reserving tours or transportation. I ended up extending my stay one more night because I was so comfortable. Ninh Binh is a lovely place. I would recommend it 100%.

The location of the hotel was perfect a short walk into the town with many restaurants but super quiet, relaxing, lovely outlook and amazing owners. They did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Breakfast was traditional Vietnamese super fresh and plenty to choose from. We ate at the hotel one night and the meal was lovely and an added bonus the owner took me to the markets to purchase the food for dinner a lovely inclusive experience and food was as good as any of the restaurants we tried in town and we were there for 7 nights. You just need to let owners know by 4.00 pm if you want to eat at the hotel. We had the room with the terrace on the top floor and it was a very good size room with a massive terrace and outdoor furniture. Really can’t recommend the Lotus hotel enough but that is probably why they have lots of customers.

Lovely location just opposite the lotus pond & rice fields. Not crowded area yet within short distance of Tam Coc town. Free cycles were very helpful. Rooms are clean & spacious. Balcony has nice view of lotus & rice fields. Run by family, buts host are very sweet & helpful. The highlight is their cute little dogs Chocolate & Candy who are so friendly & liven up the place. Must visit for pet lovers & highly recommended. Very good place to relax & great value for the money!!!

Everything! We are extremely happy with our stay. Cleanliness, comfort, the size of our room, the biggest in all accommodations we’ve been to, location just a few minutes away from the attractions. My children enjoyed biking around the rice fields. The owners are kind, hospitable and friendly. Higly recommend this place.

Nothing to be honest. When given a chance we will go back here. We are grateful the owner suggested a tourist attraction which we went to and enjoyed. Personally I love the area being quiet, not crowded and you get to enjoy the fresh air.

The owner couples are very helpful. They suggested us some interesting locations for visiting which are very useful. Most of the famous attractions are in the easy driving distance. The hotel is located at a quiet area with decent environment. The buffet breakfast is very suitable to our taste. We also enjoyed the yummy dinner for three nights that were prepared by the owners at a reasonable price. The room is clean and spacious. The view from the room is also beautiful.

The couple who run this hotel are lovely. They do a wonderful job of welcoming their customers and making sure all is well. They provide bicycles which we used every day to get around. The breakfast in the morning consisted of a buffet with good selection of fruits, fried noodle and rice, Vietnamese treats, coffee & juice. They also offered a different hot soup from the menu. Our room was clean, large and had a nice view of the rice and lotus fields. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for us as we like the quiet but still a close enough to all amenities. We had a great stay and would happily chose this hotel again.

The best this Hotel has by far is the couple that own and manage it. Thanh & Van are the most lovely person you can imagine! They are all the time pending that you are having a great time and helping with anything you need. From the first second you arrive, when they receive you offering you tea and fruit and showing you everything, they gain your heart. But it is not only how nice they are, but also, the great breakfast they offer, the room, quite big with very comfortable bed and bathroom with great shower. The fresh swimming pool for the warm days is very pleasant, the location is perfect and quite, not close to the road and just 1.5km to tal coc center, where you can go by bike (free). They have very good price for renting a bike, and for the laundry. And they help you with everything you need ( bus ticket, trips, taxi…) I wish them a lot of success in their business because they deserve it

1. Hospitality of the owner & the wife. They basically do and run everything. Very caring, concerned, friendly and so so hospitable. 2. It's a new hotel, room is huge and the location is not in the busy area of Tam Coc...so can have some peace and quiet. Cater more for family or senior citizen like me. 3. Many good eating places around which cater for international travelers.

Nothing.. it's just that this hotel is not in the middle of Ninh Binh attractions.. and I chose it to be that way as I hired a personal guide.

Well settled and quiet hotel located on the edge of the city center and in the middle of a rice field. The place is super clean, there are bicycles available for use free of charge! I’ve been received with open arms and felt directly home. The host and is wife were very friendly and helpful! It was easy and affordable to book tours through him. It was beautiful and safe! Highly recommended!
