Cute resort with bungalows, 2 dorm rooms and a beautiful pool. I stayed in one of the dorms. The rooms are big and every bed has a locker directly on the bed which is so nice!! They provide towels, an amazing breakfast buffet and a thick blanket. It was not directly in the center of Tam Coc but you could easily walk or take the bike (only 50k per day for pretty good bikes!) the pool really looks like on the pictures (that’s not often the case). Bathrooms outside of the dorms what I like. You can book busses and tours via the reception (cheaper option to book in one of the offices in the “town” though)

Was not really social (the dorm was quite empty when I stayed there, maybe that’s different when it’s fully booked), bathrooms could be cleaner (had more of a campsite vibe)

I had a great stay at Banana Bungalow. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. Even though they don't speak English very well, they seem to understand everything and manage to fulfill any request. I truly appreciated their warm and welcoming attitude!

On the downside, the breakfast was quite basic with limited variety and no hot dishes, and the coffee wasn't very good either. The cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. Upon arrival, the bathroom light shorted out, but the staff quickly moved us to a new room, which was even larger and fit four people, so that was a nice touch, although a bit of a mystery. The property is small but well-maintained. However, since the bungalows are a bit older, not everything is perfectly clean or in top condition.

A very spacious house right next to a fantastic pool area. The small resort was extremely well maintained. Staff was constantly improving the gardens and facilities. The location is perfect: walking distance from the busy Tam Coc, cycling distance from Trang An (bikes available). Several motorbikes available to ride in the gorgeous area between tam Coc and Trang An. Staying here was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks travelling in Vietnam! Very much recommended!

The airco in our bedroom didn't always work very well, but was sufficient.

I stayed in a private room with a friend here. The hostel looks great, the swinning pool is nice the staff is friendly and it's clean. The free bikes are a bit dodgy sometimes, but tbh I feel like all bicylces are like that around here ( I had the same experience last time I was in Ninh Binh)

The location is ok, it's in a quiet area (which we enjoyed) but it does put you a tad bit further away from any facilities. Nothing that can't be crossed by a bike or a scooter though. So I don't really have anything bad to say about the hostel.

My son and I stayed in the hostel dorm and it was very comfortable, clean and had good air conditioning. The bathrooms were very clean and the shower got very hot water if you liked. The included breakfast was the best I have seen in three weeks. The grounds were beautiful and set a relaxing tone. We like that the location was just a little on the edge of town away from the activity of the main street. There were bicycles free to rent and we rode into town very easily. We also rode up to. Hoa Lu, Am Tiên Lake, Trang An boat tour and Hang múa. They have a very good restaurant from which we ordered food. We also did our laundry here which was very reasonable and was returned to us the next day. They also sell large water bottles at a very reasonable rate.

We had a fantastic stay in the Deluxe King Bungalow at this peaceful and convenient location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The spacious, clean rooms were wonderful, and we especially loved the big swimming pool. It's just an 8-minute bike ride to the center of Tam Coc, and even at night, it felt very safe to ride. Bikes are not fancy, no bell, no lights, no gears, but they take you from A-B. We explored the entire area comfortably. The restaurant serves excellent coconut and yogurt coffee, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall good value for money. Incl. drinks at the pool, the mini-bar, laundry service have very fair prices. A 1 hour massage was approx. $10. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is perfect. It is hidden away from Tam Coc centre down a quiet road, but it is an excellent hotel. A hidden gem! The rooms are clean, well equipped and very comfortable. I loved the shower. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. The menu has a good selection and the food is good. Really good smoothies. The free breakfast is very good. Bike hire is very cheap 50,000 dong pp. They even provided us with a very cheap taxi service - THANK YOU.

excellent breakfast with lots of choice. possibility to borrow a bike for the day for free. The beds are comfortable. I was able to do laundry and I got my clothes earlier than expected. The restaurant is good and the place very nice with the swimming pool

I stayed in a dorm. The showers and toilets are outside so it's not necessarily the cleanest I've ever seen. Family hotel so no good if you want to meet solo traveler

We had a great time at Tam Coc Banana Bungalow. The host was kind enough to let us check in at an odd hour of the morning. The villa we booked was very neat and had all the necessary things. Great shower and to mention, the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was offered in the morning. The swimming pool would of been great had we come in a hotter part of the year. Lastly we really enjoyed the free bicycles - they came in handy when we wanted to explore the town. Overall a great stay, would definitely recommend!

The hostel itself is nice, the rooms are clean, really nice spacious showers and of course having the pool is a bonus for when the weather is nice. They have a good range of food options for when you don't want to venture into the centre of Tam Coc and the kitchen is open until 10pm which is ideal for arriving in the evening. Bicycles are provided for free which is an absolute must when staying here.

It is not the most social hostel and is a bit far from anything (20 minute walk into Tam Coc). Although there is the option to cycle, being within walking distance is far more convenient so something to consider depending on the kind of experience you want. Not related to the hostel but I had a few negative experiences as a female walking alone on the quiet streets near this hostel - likely to be a one off but for other solo females you may feel safer being in the centre.
