Just back from 3 weeks at the Bauhinia resort and it was excellent. We had a pool villa which was large with a great bathroom the excellent pool was 20m away and breakfast 50m. Room cleaned by the wonderful staff everyday, breakfast was included and it did the trick. The hotel us on a quiet street just off the main street and was quiet. Within 300m you have two family restaurants, a laundry, a spa and a large shop so all good with many restaurants only a short walk away. You can get a grab to anywhere local for around £1 it’s very inexpensive. The beach is a five minute walk and the hotel even gives you towels to take to the beach. This hotel has been the best value for money I have ever had on holiday and would highly recommend it.I would go back again tomorrow

Huge room (triple!) with good bathroom. Enjoyed the chairs and table in the balcony outside the room's door (maybe because it was the last room). Good breakfast. The staff was really nice and helpful. The swimming pool is good and big. The location is very good on a side road which is nice because it is calm and quiet and still easy to walk to the main road, restaurants and beach.

I think it lacks a little bit of atmosphere... And also, I think that there are conditions to offer some snacks to buy during the afternoon while you are staying at the pool.

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights. I like how Miss Yen welcomed us when we arrived. When we opened our room, we were mesmerized by the designs; they were very aesthetic. The location of our room was just in front of the pool, so it was relaxing. 🥰 The food for breakfast was delicious, and there were a lot of choices.

We booked a massage, the Vietnamese whole body massage and hot stone massage, at around 11:30 in the evening. The staff member who performed the hot stone massage did not smile when she spoke to me. When I did not understand something she said, instead of repeating it or speaking slowly, she rolled her eyes and gave me a fierce poker face. During the massage, when she placed the hot stone on my skin, I was shocked because she did not inform me beforehand that it would be hot, especially since it was my first time.

Wonderful place to stay with family…..Stayed for 2 weeks and it felt like home. Got very good service with very co-operative and friendly staff, good food. Overall perfect place to stay at Bauhinia resort. The beach is nearby only. The pool was clean. The best part is the location!!! its in the centre of the island between the Sunsent town and Vin wonders, both are at 30 mins distance from the resort. Breakfast was good. The lady chef Miss Quin she made the eggs according to me. Also Miss Minh at the reception was there for any assistance required. Also Halal restaurant were close by. The night market is 20 mins walking and the main road shops and restaurants were at 1-2 min walking distance. Would highly recommend this resort.

Everything was good

The resort provided me free airport pick up, though after requesting them twice, even after my booking expense was well more than 800usd. Anyway i got it so happy about it. The staff were great. Always ready to help and smiling. The breakfast was great and they custom made vegan dishes for our family on request. The rooms were big and comfortable beds.

The resort is small and no garden area. I travelled with a big family with seniors and kids, who wanted a big garden area for playing/walking. Yes they do have a great pool. For this lack of space, i moved to another resort nearby. But then, yes it did have a private beach and a big garden area.. but otherways bauhinia was the best. The other resort had old rooms, rock hard beds and uncourteous staffs. Then i realized how great bauhinia was.. if lack of garden space and private beach doesnt bother you, go for it. Great little hotel set off the main strip and in a great location for nearby bars and restaurants with a short walk/ride to the centre of town too. The staff were fantastic, helpful and attentive. The main receptionist (can't remember name now) was so helpful and friendly and would help many customers, working above and beyond expectations. Pool was nice, my room was simple yet comfy and the grounds looked lovely with frogs, cicadas and lizards chirping and croaking adding to a nice hidden "jungle" like experience. Breakfast was nice with an egg station ready to whisk you up whatever you like. Motorbikes are available too! I noticed mine had a bit of a noisy engine so I decided to give it an oil change on my way to vinwonders, it runs like a dream for whoever rents it after me, enjoy! So cheap to do, so no worries.

Every thing was perfect

This place is such good value for your money! Breakfast was delicious with a variety to choose from, very close to everything you need, good sized pool to spend the day in and the staff are so incredibly accommodating and welcoming - they are just absolute gems. We had an early flight that required us to be at the airport before breakfast normally starts and the staff still insisted on making us breakfast very early in the morning before we had to leave to the airport. We will most definitely come back here if we visit Phu Quoc again.

The only issues we had with our stay were very minor issues - the AC and fridge weren’t very powerful so our drinks didn’t really get cold. Pool could’ve have been slightly cleaner but understanble as it is surrounded by greenery that falls into the pool.

The room was a good size for 2 adults and 1 child. The queen bed was very comfortable but the frame for the single bed was squeaky. We fixed this by removing the frame. The air con was excellent. It is so good to enter a cold room after being out in the heat all day. The staff are great and were very helpful with our requests including organising motorbikes for us at a good rate. The breakfast had plenty of options for most peoples tastes with a variety of hot and cold dishes and a different Vietnamese soup each day. They also offer lunch but unfortunately no dinner option. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat of the day and whilst some of the furniture is getting old the pool itself was clean and refreshing.

It is easy for some people to focus on the negatives but from our experience there were no major issues. We had a good experience at Bauhinia Resort.

I arrived during the rainy season, so there weren’t many people around. I can't say what it's like during the tourist season, but my solo trip was amazing. The staff was very friendly and responded to any request. The location is stunning — no noise from the roads, just trees and vibrant nature all around. My room was cleaned daily to perfect cleanliness, and fresh bottles of water were provided every day.

The walk from the hotel to the sea was indeed quite long — around 10 minutes to a private beach near the “Hawaii” hotel. I wasn’t sure whether it was actually a private or public beach, since it wasn’t swimming season and there was no one there. When it rained, the road was covered in water and mud, so it was inconvenient to walk — my clothes got dirty from the splashes made by my flip-flops. There were also ants...
