We felt quite safe in this area and in the Motel. In the neighborhood you can find a 7-Eleven, Taco street food and the beautiful Lincoln park. If you don't have a car, line 78 will be your best friend(stop is only a 5 min walk away). The area is very Hispanic. You'll have a fridge in your room. The room lady was very friendly. All in all we were satisfied.

A few nights it was a bit noisy(people talking until 1:30am,...). But that really didn't bother us. It was not the cleanest place(but for a Motel and the price no big issue).

Everything was great good air conditioning comfortable bed

We got woken up by loud knock on door from staff saying if we had car park it clearly states that we didn't have a car when we checked in so I didn't appreciate the earlier morning loud knock and toilet handle kept falling off that was a bit annoying

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially as this was my 1st time in LA and didn't really know where I was!! I learnt the history of the area from way back in the 1930's. The Motel is situated in an area of beautiful parks and housing and has a local shop, a Mexican street café where you can sit down or take away, the food is great 👍 👌.

There's only one thing that I didn't like was the traffic as the motel is by the main road. Also it needs a kettle!

I’ve read reviews and was a little bit concerned. But after staying at this place I can tell that it was worth it, the rooms were clean, we had new towels everyday. Beds were good, parking at the property, fridge in the room and working AC. It wasn’t luxury but for a short stay perfect. Area was okay too. We felt safe and had no problems. If I ever go back to LA then definitely will stay at this motel. I would recommend location if you have a car with you, there is no public transportation (convenient one at least).

I have nothing to complain about.

The location was very ideal close to plenty of good restaurants and not too far from la general hospital which was the reason for our visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful I wish I booked a second night instead of one.

Nothing wrong with our stay everything was just right.

Hotel rooms were pretty cool. Each room was a building by itself and some had a attached garage. Definitely historic and a once in a life time experience.

There was a train track somewhere near the neighbourhood and freight trains are noisy at night. The water pressure is rather weak so you have to take a longer shower to get clean.

How close it was to little toyko, and free parking was great.

Sometimes parking lot does get full. So you have to beat everyone else back there.

It was quaint; and the rooms are separated from each other bungalow style which afforded more privacy. We weren’t bothered everyone morning and had time to ourselves.

The location is very far from basic amenities/stores.

I like that the room was clean and it smells good. The housekeepers were also kind to lend us extra pillows.

Just a lot of smoking around the area so sometimes the AC might blow a little smell of smoke.
