Room very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff friendly, helpful, welcoming.

1) the free wifi is terrible to the point of malevolence. actively evil. utterly useless. 2) breakfast was okay - but weirdly spartan. No butter or jam for toast? a bowl of sad, watery grapes and a single banana? how about at least putting out a pitcher of water and some glasses? 3) breakfast vouchers: our res clearly specified complimentary breakfast, but I had to make that case to the front desk who eyed me like, who's this freak trying to scam a bowl of grits?

I liked the promptness of the people in housekeeping. They were always responded in a timely manner.

The only issue I found was with breakfast. I had a complimentary breakfast and was overcharged for a side dish of eggs. Instead of being charged for one order of eggs the server charged me 6 additional dollars for a kids meal which I did not order. The meal voucher was said to have covered up to 15 dollars and my meal was only 11 then with him adding on a kids meal that I had not asked for, my total would have been 16 and some odd change meaning that I still should have only been charged a dollar in addition to my voucher. That was the only bad thing I can genuinely say I experienced.

Everything was very clean and rooms are spacious and smell nice.

Breakfast was good BUT there is a 10 dollar charge for the buffet - unlike the Hilton Hampton Inns and yet the buffet was no better (maybe even more limited) than the Hampton Inn.

There should have been a sign at the breakfast buffet stating that it costs 10 dollars. I prefer a shower curtain over glass doors for privacy when I'm in the shower and the teenagers need to use the toilet and mirror to get ready BUT that's a personal preference.

the facility is beautiful and fully equipped. The staff anticipated our needs the room was large and functional. The price was reasonable and though there were lots of kids in the hotel it was exceptionally quiet.

the Hilton was great the neighborhood was a bit sketchy as a lot of people who clearly lived in the hotel next door walked through the parking lot. the pool is also between the 2 properties. The view is not the greatest because of that other hotel and it's close proximity.

Front desk personnel were exceedingly helpful. Buffet attendants kept the area very tidy, food was very good and plentiful. Jordan the bar tender crafted very good cocktails. Every area of the hotel was very clean, which is not always the case.

Voices in the hallway sounded like they were in our room which was bothersome.

The hotel had been beautifully renovated. The staff were extremely courteous; especially the bartender who was super friendly and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was very good with lots of selection.

The only negative was the "pillows"; these definitely needed to be replaced, otherwise the bed and the room were extremely comfortable.

The girl running the restaurant at dinner was extremely pleasant and accommodating. For some reason, the soup ordered was taking a long time to arrive; she apologized profusely and ensured our first round of drinks was on the house. This immediately diffused any potential for impatience.

The only negative is that there was no safe in the room.

The room was clean and the bed, including the pull out sofa, was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and responded quickly when we needed sheets/blanket fir the pull out sofa. Everyone was friendly.

The only thing negative was the air conditioner didn't work well. We had to set it at a low temp to turn on.

We did a quick one night stay before the Masters and it was great. Very clean, easy check in. Melvin at the front desk was wonderful. Very helpful and made sure to freeze my ice packs for me that I required for travel. Breakfast was also good. Not sure if I would pay for it, but we had a voucher from booking. Great stay.
