Beach and pool setting are amazing. The beds very extremely comfortable, nice room with ocean view. very nice staff. Great kids club.

Few food options in the hotel, mainly pizzas and burgers. Location is a bit far from town so you need a cab to get water at decent price.

The room is comfy for 3 persons, having a sofa bed is very nice. The app to request water / toiletries is great, they respond very fast. Sustainability - very few "single use" items, e.g., the water bottles were glass and reusable; the soap is from a dispenser (not from tiny plastic bottles to be thrown away). Staff are friendly. Lobby is very airy and has many places to sit while waiting for Bolt.

There was a bathroom in the Booking.com ad but we didnt have one - minor point only. The nearest 7 Eleven is about 20 min walk away without much shade on the beach (10 mins would be optimal for me to dash out as there were kids in the room).

Great location at the north end of Kamala beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and roof top bar are excellent with good food and reasonable price. There are a few minor issues. For example, there are no small toiletries in the room. Robes and slippers were forgotten in one room. These were provided promptly upon request. I would stay here again

Too many steps for my elderly mother. Steps of stairs could be more distinctive by painting red strips on every step or putting some sort of clear markers for elders. My mother tripped a few times as she could not distinguish each step on the way down. During high season, beach chairs are not sufficient due to number of guests. Otherwise, Novotel is a great hotel to stay and in an excellent location. I would suggest providing some beach sport equipment for recreation such as kayak or paddleboard, at least for rent if needed so that guests do not have to walk out to find ones. Beach chairs could be extended onto the beach in front of the hotel to better serve the guests.

The location is perfect, great pool bar and selection of drinks and food. Friendly staff and we had a great view from our Ocean suite.

It felt like a kids club around the pool everyday. There is a fight to get a sun bed each day and there was a large group of Russians who took up half the pool area each day so we could never get a bed around the pool as they had put towels down since 7am.

Location is spot on, food and service are good. Bartenders are jolly and do a good job. Housekeeping is also nice. Team was great.

The room. We took a suite and it was not great, not bad either. I mean the layout wasn't functional. The sliders were too tight, too much space wasted, no side tables for instance, sofa bed could be better, wood work looked shoddy and hilariously we couldn't exactly figure out the switches in five days. Couldn't connect tv from usb socket, Ac worked well though, linen was nice but upholstery not so much. Rooms could be more functional and aesthetically pleasing.

I loved this place. We stayed here for 9 days, booked it in October., had no problem with the booking and it was smooth. The staff was very friendly we even become friends during our stay. The staff names were Lee (bellhop) and Fah (receptionist). We are very grateful for your kindness and service. The place was amazingly suitable for family, has direct access to the beach, has kids play room with lots of toys. The breakfast was more than enough, delicious and has diverse choice. We will definitely come back next year with our extended family.

Loved the location and ability to walk to local beach bars, massage and restaurants on the beach . Rooms are comfortable and well appointed with great air-conditioning! Breakfast careered for all food preferences.

Having to move rooms for our last nights stay and hotel not accommodating us with the same room and rate that we paid for the other 4 nights stay. Cafe Del Mar music was loud at night, when we moved to front Jacuzzi Villa

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! They gave us a gift for our baby, which was a great surprise and very thoughtful. Great location right on the beach, 10-15 mins walk from bars and restaurants in the laid back Kamala Beach. Very nice food and drinks, nice pool overlooking the ocean.

The rooms design (especially the bathrooms) is a bit out-of-date, there was cigarette smell in our bathroom (after notifying the hotel staff, they put air aroma freshners). In the evenings, there is sewage water that goes to the ocean and you need to cross it if you're walking in the beach. It's obviously not the hotel fault, but we were stung by jellyfish in the sea.

The hotel was brilliant .food .breakfast. staff. An location all played a part in a great experience .would be happy to stay again as long as these issues where addressed

The one or may I say 2 issues that where annoying was noise in the corridors at night especially around room 528 . disturbed sleep . I booked another night in diffent wing of hotel .unfortunitly the aircon was noicey an little sleep .for this 2 reasons I would not stay in the hotel as my sleep has been so disrupted I am tired an exhausted to be honest. Other than these items great hotel an staff hope the could rectify these 2 problems an I would be very happy to stay at the hotel

The bed was so comfortable and the bath with the views exquisite the arrival drink was the best we have had sofare! Staff were so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was the fabulous! Food is fantastic! Location on Kamala Beach and its quieter town makes for a very relaxing holiday destination in Phuket! We are heading back there again!!!

The 7pm pool closed, we wanted a later night swim to cool off, and it's not allowed maybe make it closed for children and no big party, but relaxing swimming is welcome.
