I love the location. Just a few minutes from the Jewish quarter, and 5 min to some great restaurants. It’s a quiet residential area and I found it more charming than the more touristy parts of Venice. So much so that I’d love to live there. As for the hotel itself, it’s a converted monastery and the stone walls meant that we didn’t hear much from our neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful and found a way to help no matter the request- highly recommended.

The beds are small and a little hard, and the shower was tricky to figure out, and the mosquitoes really loved me. Otherwise it was all great.

Venice isn’t a cheap place to stay,we were looking at hotels and for a lot of hotels the style was way too chintzy for me. We booked a deluxe canal view room here. It was clean,spacious,well decorated, had lots of storage and a beautiful view. It was easy to get to from the airport we got on the Alilaguna there and back it’s one stop on this ferry from the hotel and then a short walk maybe 7mins and you’re at the hotel. The staff were all so friendly helpful and polite. The complimentary toiletries were decent you got shampoo conditioner body wash and lotion.The hairdryer provided was decent too, in some hotels I feel you get a pitiful hairdryer that takes forever to dry your hair. The bed was very comfy also. The garden was pretty and a nice bonus to the hotel. I wasn’t sure if I would love Venice or think it’s a place we’ve been too and ticked off the list. I would definitely return to both Venice and this hotel. Thank you all for the lovely and kind service you have.

If I was going to nit pick another plug point would have been good that’s about all I can find to say.

Great hotel but extremely disappointed with the service on check in we asked for a water taxi to be booked this morning for 9.15am as we had a train at 9.56am This morning when we asked about the water taxi at check out we were told just wait at the door. At 9.20 the man made a call and said the taxi had been caught in traffic At 9.25 he made a call and he was told there was no booking for 9.15 only 10.15 So he directed us to the water bus We arrived at the train station as the train was pulling away. The staff not booking us a water taxi as requested has cost us another €152 and we had to wait 5hrs for the next train If we had of been told the first time there was no booking we would have made the train. Don’t trust the staff to help you just book things yourself

This apartment is located near the Jewish district in Venice. Surrounded by history and lots of character - this hotel is a hidden gem! The apartment was very clean and good value for money. We stayed in a two story hotel room which was perfect for a family. The highlight of our stay here was the staff. Upon check-in, the male receptionist provided us with a map and kindly gave us insight to the city. The hotel is not located in the most convenient area area in terms of the major tourist attractions of Venice. However the receptionist explained to us how to use the water bus (ferry) system which was extremely handy as it was a great way to get around the city. The ferry stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and you can get a daily pass, which is great value for money. He also gave restaurant suggestions that were popular with the locals. Breakfast was also great value for money as children under six eat for free.

Although the two story hotel room gave us plenty of room for our family, we were not aware that the hotel room would have stairs. When looking at the photos at the time of making the booking I could not see a photo of stairs in the family suite. This was inconvenient for us as we are travelling with a baby and we were worried about her falling down the stairs. We had to put a tea table at the stairs to give us a peace of mind that she wouldn’t fall.

We really enjoyed our stay there as the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. I also loved how it's modern design merged with the natural building materials. I did not expect anything to this but the breakfast room did just that, wow. I loved the design, the furniture, the colors used and the pictures on the wall. There's also a very nice garden with tables and chairs. We arrived early but we could leave our baggages in the locker room and upon arrival from our sightseeing we found them in our room. The breakfast was also very nice and of a wide variety.

The price was definitely more reasonable than most especially since we stayed there during the holiday season so we were already expecting for the prices to be high. The rooms were also huge and the beds were comfortable. They may need a bit of upgrading of facilities but it doesn't really mean that the current rooms are not good enough.

While we chose the place because of the price and because we saw that it's in a quieter area, since my companions were my parents who are a bit older now, I failed to estimate that the location would still feel quite far from the main attractions of the city. However, it's still good that it's still somehow near the water bus stops.

We absolutely loved our stay at Residenza Cannaregio in Venice, it was so quiet , still an easy walk to all the restaurants and wine bars. It was so easy to find following maps on my phone once we got off the bus/boat. Which you catch from the main entrance of Venice Island to all the different outskirts of the island. A water Taxi can take you to the door but we opted against this as the Vaporetto was easy and cheaper option.

Nothing really!! It was clean, the carpet appeared to be brand-new with an ornate design to fit the style of the building. Only 3 steps the rest is all on one level. It was air-conditioned, the bed was comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. It is well-located: not in the touristic part of the city, but close enough to all the main things, including historical places, water transport and train station. We particularly liked having an opportunity to experience a bit of a true and quiet Venice. Our room (family) was in a great condition: clean and spacious. This hotel has something special in it..maybe due to the history or a location.. and we really enjoyed our time there.

Nothing really negative. Our room was a two-levels accommodation and upper section was notably warmer. This is basic physics :-) and kids loved it because they stayed there.

This location was less than 15 min walk from the train station, in the quiet, beautiful neighborhood of Cannaregio. Cannaregio itself is so picturesque and bustling with many places to eat and drink. We had such a great time just walking along the Canal de Misericordia. It was so easy to get to every point of interest from here, we were able to walk to vaporetto, St Marks Square, and just explore different parts of Venice. The hotel facilities were amazing, had great modern amenities like AC, kettle, coffee machine, mini bar (for additional fee), TV, room safe with number pad. Used a key card to enter our room and use the appliances once inside. The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating and eager to help. We stayed in a room with a canal view and highly recommend if you can, you can catch the most beautiful views during sunrise.

We were able to hear some sounds from the room above us, but luckily we are heavy sleepers (especially after walking around Venice) and didn’t have any issues falling asleep.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our stay here. A real gem located on the quiet and romantic outskirts of Venice. 2 minute walk to the nearest bars and restaurants and 2 minute walk to the nearest boat bus stop. We had private water taxi transports to and from the airport which is absolutely perfect for this hotel due to it having its own pier. The hotel itself is very modern and clean when we visit Venice again we will stay here again without a doubt. 10/10
