We had such a lovely stay at Area Hotel, it was in the perfect location, breakfast was good and varied, the rooms and bed were very comfortable, but most of all the staff could not do enough for us. They were so incredibly helpful whenever we asked anything, looking infto taxis to the airport and getting the best price, and making recommendations for other beaches etc. They could not have done more and were always very friendly with it. All the staff were excellent, but a special shout out goes to Isola (apologies if that's spelled wrong), who always seemed to be on reception whenever we needed anything. Thank you Isola! Last thing we loved that must get a mention - the hotel Tortoise!

I had the pleasure of staying 6 nights at the Area Hotel in Ksamil, Albania this July, and everything about the experience was simply splendid. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Each morning started with a generous and delicious breakfast, more than sufficient to set you up for the day. What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the amazing staff. A special thank you to Erta and Mika, who were consistently friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout my time there. Their warmth and professionalism really added a personal touch to the experience. I would highly recommend the Area Hotel to anyone visiting Ksamil – it’s a perfect blend of comfort, service, and hospitality.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, everything was perfect. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the check-in process was fast and smooth. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable; both the furniture and the bed quality were excellent. Daily cleaning was carried out regularly, and the towels and sheets were spotless. The common areas of the hotel were also well-maintained and tastefully decorated. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, clearly prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff were helpful in every way, attending to even our smallest requests promptly. The location is also very convenient, close to attractions and restaurants. In short, the service and comfort exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back for our next holiday.

We loved everything. We have never been to a hotel that is as clean as this one. The host & workers were always keeping their eye out that every need was attended. There is a hotel that is immediately beside this one, and you can clearly see that the sign of the name of the hotel in this one is regularly cleaned, while the sign of the other hotel has never been cleaned. You can tell the people that work here really care to keep it tidy, clean & enjoyable. I cannot start talking about the breakfast as I would never finish. Superb. Spectacular. Delicious delicatessen. So so happy and if we are ever back in Ksamil, this will be our first stop!

Perfect ! We've stayed in branded luxury hotels across the world and this hotel was by far the best we've stayed in for value for money. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, excellent customer service and great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts & staff. Other hotels should learn from the Area how to do it. We couldn't fault a thing. Thank you Area for a fantastic stay and for looking after us.

The location is on a busy road and a little walk to the beach, however near to bars and restaurants and a supermarket.

Location was great, few minutes walk to the beach and lots of restaurants to try nearby but the room is quiet, beautiful and comfortable, the decor in the lobby is beautiful, mirrors in the lobby to see your outfit before you step out. The staff were friendly, there was a young lady who speaks good English, she was amazing, some of the other staff didn’t speak English but they were friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was really good too, lots of food to choose from.

There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, bathroom was very clean but it just had this smell, more attention needs to be paid to that but overall the hotel was good.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at every step. The girls were so attentive. On our departure day, after checking out, they still allowed us to stay by the pool. We were also able to change our clothes. Breakfast was exactly as expected — good. We were given directions to the parking spot, and since we had a larger car, the hotel manager (I believe it was the manager) moved his own car so we could have the space. Thank you! The pool was very nice.

We loved the friendly staff, the cleanliness, the buffet breakfast was delicious, huge range of options and good quality. The front desk staff were super helpful with recommendations, booking a hire car for us and a taxi back to the port. Our room was quiet, good air conditioning, comfy beds. We also loved that there was a pool that was also very clean which was great for cooling off on a hot day.

There could be more rails or hooks for towels in the bathroom. We tried some Albanian wine one day and it was quite expensive compared to other places we had wine. A lot of the beaches nearby are very busy and have loud music playing but if you walk a little further you can find quieter ones.

Amazing accommodation. Beautiful, clean, modern, artsy hotel. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, nice balcony, a drying rack, coffee tea and toiletries in the room daily added. Breakfast was diverse. Staff was super friendly. The pool was cool to use after a hot day at the beach w always available sunbeds. The locations is wonderful, right next to supermarkets, bus stop, good restaurants and a few minutes from many beaches. We recommend Tiki boat beach bar. We had a wonderful time in Ksamil, thank you.

The 'do not disturb' button was pointless to switch on as we got our room cleaned every day anyway. We are grateful for that but I think it's not necessary, I can use a towel 2x. Not sure about this but you should check the fridge door in r.401.

The hosts were fantastic - THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE HAD IN THE WHOLE OF ALBANIA!! This was the first property that we stayed in who provided tea and coffee facilities in the room - this was brilliant!

There was some small damage to the shower in the bathroom, this could be easily fixed.
