The reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast had good options. Easy walking distance to Skanderbeg Square, The Pyramid, Bunk Art 2 etc. and very close to a popular tour pick-up location, outside the Ministry of Justice Building.

Although the apartment had a kitchen, it wasn't particularly well equipped if you wanted to self cater. Not the end of the world because it's close to plenty of decently priced cafes and restaurants. We had one issue which was immediately resolved to our satisfaction and the young woman on reception was excellent.

Hotel Idea is a great spot for a trip to Tirana! The location is good, a few minutes walk away from the city centre, and there are lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby serving local food (take cash!). The hotel is comfortable and spacious, with the apartment rooms being well stocked and pleasant to be in, with big beds and a decent shower. The breakfast is also good quality, serving a range of hot and cold foods. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and made us very welcome. I would definitely consider staying here on a return trip to Tirana!

A little hard to find! Also, if you are looking for more of a luxury stay while in Tirana you might want to look elsewhere, but this is reflected in the very reasonable price!

The hotel was in a great location off a main street. Our room was unusual but ended up working out well for us. Access to the roof terrace was nice, especially for watching the New Year's Eve fireworks all around the city..The two beds were in separate rooms. One bed, the twin, was more comfortable than the full size bed. We also had a kitchen in our room. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I especially enjoyed the hot croissants and daily homemade cakes.

Our room (900) had quite a few stairs which were a problem with our large suitcases. The bathroom was very small. It got extremely wet when we used the shower.

All rooms were clean, nicely laid out and a lot of space in each of the rooms and we even had a spare bed in one of the rooms. The rooms were cleaned regularly every day which was ideal and the location is near the centre and only a few mins walk to skanderberg square

The lift sometimes has a delay and isn’t the biggest so for big groups isn’t ideal, the outside of the hotel looks terrible with a lot of damaged buildings etc but inside is all good. The breakfast isn’t the best , mainly waffles and pancakes and the eggs didn’t look appetising.

First, a true jackpot price for the quality. A well-maintained single room with a well-equipped lavatory (and even with disposable slippers!), together with a good-quality breakfast, cost just 35 euros - and this is just 5-10 mins walking from Sheshi Skenderbej! Wonderful. The facilities were in a good state, the breakfast was sufficient and balanced too - a bit of everything. Also, Internet connection was working flawlessly. And a special thanks to the navigation: there is a sign "Hotel Idea" when you walk on the Zog Boulevard from Sheshi Skenderbej, so you won't miss the hotel even at night (the hotel itself is in the end of a blind street).

A rare hotel where I can't write anything on "What didn't you like?". Everything was fine.

The hotel is very close to the city centre, and outside that little street, you can find everything necessary, like restaurants, money exchange or ATMs, and little or bigger shops. The room was very clean and comfy. Towels, slippers, shampoo/shower gel, soap and bed sheets are provided, and there was a daily cleaning. The breakfast was also good, tasty and enough. Plus point that there was a cute kitten around the hotel, and you can meet other lovely cats in the area. I absolutely recommend this place, and if I travel to Tirana again, I would choose this hotel to stay.

Very good signage, easy to find, central location. Staff speak good English, helpful and informative. Delicious breakfast, good selection of teas.Clean and quiet. All you need is there. Very comfortable bed and pillows ( I'm really fussy with it). Overall I had I very good night, good value for money. You can pay by card.

A little things, not important for most people. If you staying on the top floor, with a terrace, it may be not safe in the evening, going out of the apartment, down, no lights switches on automatically until the middle of the stairs. So is complete darkness. On the way back is ok, the detector is by the entry, little glass door, but not by the apartment. In the bathroom was no soap, only shampoo with hair conditioner. I have habitus to wash the hands with soap. The toilet ring is not fixed, constantly moving.

Absolutely friendly..3 Star Deluxe for sure..Easily found...location so central..nothing was a bother..payment by Visa on arrival was so straight forward..All sightseeing attractions a stone throw away..Plenty of hot water..nice and warm..Free Wifi brilliant reception...8th Floor view with mountain in distance was a nice feature..Left luggage easily for the day with no issues..the young guy on reception so polite as well as the lady in the morning. Highly recommend this Hotel..Thank you!..So glad I stayed..For the price I paid..amazing. Breakfast needs improving as I would pay a bit more for variety.

Just one criticism is the Breakfast..Far too basic..I would pay a little more for better Coffee..it was not nice from machine..Bread for toast doesn't need to be pre cut..Just more variety would be nice. Orange Juice was fizzy which was a bit strange. More meats would be nice!

Check-in was easy and the staff friendly. They accommodated our changed schedule superbly. I loved the access to the roof and views across Tirana from my room (900) We had some early starts but the breakfast at 7am was ready for us.

Access to the hotel was challenging as the road to the entrance was often blocked by other vehicles. We compromised by asking taxis etc to use the stopping area outside the Ministry of Justice opposite to collect us/drop us off, which worked well as we only had hand luggage. My room, 900, had a very small shower area with no curtain or way of reducing splashing. I didn't use it. One of our team arrived after midnight but the receptionist had no access to room allocations so couldn't direct her up to the room she was sharing. We had said when we checked in earlier that she would arrive later that evening.

What an amazing central location while at the same time hidden from the noise of the main street! We also really enjoyed the wide choices for breakfast.

Nothing really but perhaps worth mentioning that there was a power cut the night we arrived so we had no electricity in the room till the morning (not sure that's a common occurence). The paid parking option is just down the street (less than a 2min walk) so not ideal that there's no parking right in front but still convenient.
