Beautiful, very well-restorated historic building in the heart of Palermo. It has a charming internal court with a lot of plants that you can admire while having a delicious breakfast with medias lunas and dulce de leche. Simply fabulous! Despite the cold outside temperatures, the room and the hotel as a whole were always warm and cozy. Everything was very tidy and clean, the equipment (hair-dryer, air conditioning with heat function etc) worked perfectly and the lovely staff made our stay even more pleasant! Moreover, the strategic location allowed us to go on foot to all the lovely places we wanted to visit in the beautiful neighbourhood. Access to public transport to visit Recoleta and the city center was easy and cheap. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel and I'm looking forward to my next trip to this wonderful city!

Great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I am Coeliac and for breakfast each morning they made gluten free options as I could not have the croissants, including a home made tart and a banana cake as well as gluten free bread and home made yoghurt and fresh fruit. The hotel is in a nice street and in easy walking distance for Palermo area and to the subway for further afield. Likewise a lot of nice restaurants nearby of varying prices ( particularly recommend La Choza) We stayed in 3 different hotels within Buenos Aires between trips to Uruguay and we both felt this was the best one of the three

Provision of water and tea or coffee making option in room is the only thing we can think of

The interior lobby and rooms were lovely with vintage furniture and interesting layout. The staff was very friendly, helpful and some excellent English. The location was perfect with tree lined streets and many restaurants and shops to choose from in a very nice part of Buenos Aires. our room even had a semi-private patio. Lastly, the breakfast were served rather than buffet style and were excellent!

I don't typically take the time to write a review, but in this case, I have to say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our bags went missing on our flight over and they took receipt of them from the airline a week before we were back in the city. They offered a welcome coffee and drink and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. The concierge was 24 hrs which was a bonus when our daughters went out clubbing and arrived back in the early hours of the morning. The location of the hotel is excellent, about 5-10 mins walk to Plaza Armenia which has some lovely restaurants and Plaza Serrano for bars and night life. The rooms and beds are very comfortable.

Some noise does travel from the reception to the bedrooms. We found this was typical in a number of hotels we stayed in across Argentina.

Everything! The location is great, on quiet streets of Palermo full of old buildings and trees, the place itself is every bit as good as the photos, full of that charming atmosphere of old rich Argentinian family house, complete with authentic furniture and everything. It does come with an elevator too, so you won't have to chug your suitcase up the stairs manually just for the sake of authenticity. The staff are absolutely AWESOME, great English and they've been beyond helpful at any time of day and night, with everything from booking a tango show with pickup from hotel for me to providing 11 p.m. dinner to organizing a taxi when Uber app decided it didn't want to work for me anymore. Breakfast is tasty, and the pumpkin+cheese empanadas on the menu (not part of breakfast) are forever in my heart now. My only regret is having only 3 nights in such an awesome place.

I suppose my one complaint is the door to the hotel locks when you go outside and the only way to get back inside is to call the doorbell and wait for the receptionist to open it for you. I must note I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes on that, but it just doesn't feel right to bother people every time (I felt particularly bad when I just went out then realized I forgot something and had to go right back in), seems like it'd be much more convenient to just give every guest their own key. I would also say it's a bit on pricier side (but then again , everything in Argentina seems lately...) but worth every cent in the end.

Staff were wonderful - I injured my ankle whilst in Buenos Aires and the staff went out of their way to assist, providing advice on hospitals, arranging taxi/uber and talking to medical supplier to have foot brace delivered. They were kind and concerned to ensure we had what we required. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast freshly provided and everything exceptionally clean. Location was close to restaurants and within walking distance to subway.

Unfortunately the shower did not operate properly and only half pressure came out of shower spout and the remainder through the bath tap.

Just amazing hotel staff who could not have been more helpful and happy to organise everything from taxis to trips. Gorgeous bedrooms and communal rooms elegantly furnished and a roof terrace with comfortable sofas for time out to relax. Breakfast was scrumptious.

The peaceful and quiet location and ambience. The friendly and helpful staff. Great welcome coffee. Welcome wine with nuts which you can get in your room, the rooftop patio, or lobby. The prearranged private transport to and from the EZE and AEP. Tasty breakfast in the room at 3:30 am for our early departure!
