Really friiendly attentive - professional and personal staff

Breakfast was just too fussy and pretentious. Seemed trying to be clever with creative menu when a simple offer with normal ingredients well made and served in decent size portions would have been so much better. Breakfast at the start of the day needs to be more straightforward. Next time I wouldnt have breakfast and walk to one of the various cafes and eateries close by. I have a bad back and thought the entrance steps down to the main door were challenging. There is a ramp with a long route to the level. Would have helped to have some form of call button for help given this was a premium hotel.

We like the location, the comfort of the rooms, the bathroom, the complimentary bar.

the heaviness of the door from carpark to lift and to rooms, bought a door wedge with us to make it easier. the carpark (beyond their control probably) is so hard to reach the card machine on exiting. I am short, I have to park on the slope, squeeze out and put ticket in then get back to vehicle. It could so easily have been installed on the flat part before the turn to exit. Really hate that it is a room for 2 yet there is always only one chair! Also, how hard would it have been to have a light in the alcovewhere the coffee glasses etc are? everything is black and it is hard to see what one is doing.

great location, easy walk to shopping and eateries, war memorial and few other sites within 30-45 mins if up for a longer walk. room was clean and modern. great lighting in the room and bathroom - there was a soft backlight for the bathroom for finding your way at night without being too bright to annoy people who like to sleep in the dark. Great mini bar. staff very friendly and provided prompt service. good value if doing a multi might stay

Beds were very soft and had taller pillows which may not suit everyone. Parking in busy periods is a bit confusing - there is a shared parking area with a residential building and a daily paid parking area. sometimes the marked spaces for the hotel are totally full and the carpark is quite tight. there is a pull in at the front of the hotel for checking in which is very tight and can get blocked up with cars in busy periods - there is a free 15 minute parking area (a rarity in CBD Canberra) next to the carpark entrance on mort street which can help you while checking in and getting organised

The service and staff are fantastic! Everyone is truly phenomenal and consistently goes above and beyond to meet our needs. They are very child-friendly, especially Ben, the manager. Ben knew our son wasn’t feeling well and took the time to check in on us to see if we needed anything. The front desk staff made us feel so welcome, and recognising us as returning customers, they even upgraded our room — an unforgettable experience! The housekeeping and cleaning staff are superb; they helped clean up after us, making us feel completely at home. I’ve stayed here many times, and it will always be my go-to whenever I visit Canberra. The hotel is very modern, and the highlight for us is the indoor heated swimming pool — perfect for my kids. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk to Canberra Centre.

Super comfortable, clean rooms. Amazing bed and pillows, amenities. Free mini bar was awesome!!! We loved getting in the midnight dressing gowns and slippers and walking down to the pool lol . Amaaaaazing sauna. Awesome breakfast, whatever was in that hollandaise goddamn. And 4 free cocktails!!!! So many gifts, this place is awesome. Staff so friendly and kind too!! Honestly could barely fault it except maybe too much chlorine in the pool so make sure you shower off after! Thanks Midnight hotel for an awesome and memorable stay considering it was only for 1 night!!

Too much chlorine in pool, we were a bit itchy after! Or maybe we are just sensitive lol. Pool/sauna overall was awesome though :)

The hotel was in a good position and right across from the light rail. We went to a beautiful Italian cafe across the street. Very modern and clean with a bar and eating down stairs. The young fellow that booked us in was very helpful and explained everything to us.

We found the colour scheme of the hotel oppressive and dark. The staff in the bar were unhelpful and rude. Other staff at the front desk were ok but abrupt as well. We were unable to use the restaurant both nights we stayed and the bar was also booked for a private function. We asked if we could just find a corner table but were told to go outside (in 39 degree heat!) The bar was not stocked even having no coke.

Clean & comfortable both lounge & bed and location convenient. Free minibar. Great rain shower. Good size tv. Staff friendly. Good quality thick towels.

Hot corridors, couldn’t use eftpos or cash to pay which forced a surcharge. Burnt bacon each morning for breakfast. Rooms are dark and no natural light. Biggest not like was the wine fridge. Drinks are not cold enough. After fire evacuation, took forever to get back to our room. Should be able to go back up through fire exits. Took too long for everyone to go up in two lifts. Hard to get soap out of soap dispenser {spacer is too big which doesn’t allow to pump)

The location was fantastic and the staff were good. The room was styled well and a nice size for the price.

We stayed on the 1st floor and the hallway smelled a bit dank and musty due to it being near the pool and sauna and the hallway being carpeted where people with wet feet would walk down often. It also took 30-40 minutes to get a coffee in the morning, quicker to just walk to a cafe.

Professional, friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the corridors. Staff made every effort to accommodate special requests where they could. Comfortable bed. Spacious indoor pool. Inexpensive parking, with multiple entries and exits permitted. Great proximity to the centre of the city (and only a short E-bike ride to Floriade).

We were a little confused by the 'Included Ala Carte Breakfast' - we were unclear as to what we could order ie. how much we could order and if we could add to our order after our initial request (eg a cup of coffee at the end). There was a table and chair in our room - it would have been nice to have a second chair, given their was two of us in the room. While the black and grey walls were fitting with the Midnight Hotel theme, it did feel quite dark when inside the corridors and bedrooms.

Great location in the heart of the city within easy reach of shops, restaurants and attractions. Uber anywhere around Canberra easily and quickly. Good breakfast, but only a la carte, no buffet - but quality was good.

Gym was small / basic, restaurant a bit too small for a busy breakfast period.
