We've stayed here a few times now and always found it reasonably central to the activities we undertake when in Canberra. The staff are very helpful and our room is always clean and tidy upon our return each day. The breakfast is a great option, especially when kids can eat for free. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious and quiet.

If I'm to be picky, it was having the laundry trolley parked on the hallway the whole time. It wasn't in the way, as such, but it detracted from the overall experience of an otherwise luxury experience. I'm sure there are more discrete places it could be stored when not in use.

The heated swimming pool was good for family. Kids loved it. Loved the floaties. Rooms were nice and clean and warm.

Limited parking spots. Finding a spot to park on the first day was a nightmare specially for someone new to Canberra. They should make a lot of effort informing guests at booking where to find a place to park. We couldn't even find a place to drop off our bags and check-in we had to drive in circles to find a parking spot then walk for 5 mins with our bags a family of 5. The breakfast area was bit too crowded in the morning inevitably some of the food was cold.

Buffet breakfast was great. Pool and spa was a massive hit with the kids. Location of hotel is amazing, lots of food options within minutes walking distance. We didn’t have any issues with parking each day but can see how quickly the car park would fill up. All up great value for money and the kids had a ball in the pool.

Mattresses could do with being replaced - we both woke up with aches and pains. If we had to pick on anything it would be that there were lots of room service trays left in corridors for what seemed to be days at a time

The property was well located. Facilities were good. Most of the staff was great.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, especially the sink. Grime. Not pleasant. Towels were not replaced. One exception from the friendly staff was a lady at breakfast, and a waiter. Both of them quite rude and looked unhappy, not wanting to be there……..it looked clear. I requested 2 hot chocolates take away when breakfast was over and a lady who was in charge of the staff, them for me as if she was going out of her way to do me a favor. One waiter was moody all the days I was there. Most of the staff was amazing. I loved the restaurant meals and bar. Shout out to Jay who was great.

We got a complimentary upgrade for an apartment upon arrival (thank you!), good breakfast, great location (city interchange bus stops, City Walk, restaurants nearby), door separating entrance/kitchen/bathroom and bedroom.

Staff seemed to be overloaded (especially at breakfast, with a long queue the welcome process was very long - we had to wait 30 minutes to get our table - also, there was no indication about peak times to avoid), there was a huge dead bug on the corridor near the elevator for 2 days before staff noticed and removed it), no staff at pool area (children ignored bombing and diving regulations).

Great location - walkable distance to Lonsdale street and the Canberra centre. Room was a nice size, nothing special but just what we needed. Comfy beds. Pool was great for the kids. We used a self check in counter so actually had no interaction with staff at all which was a little weird but really easy.

While it said the pool was heated it was freezing cold! Kids didn’t mind but we would have like it a bit warmer. Also we booked on the night of the hotel staffs Christmas party. They put us in the room closest to the function room so could hear some noisy music. The music didn’t go too late into the night but we have a baby and it was a bit noisy when we were trying to get her to sleep. It didn’t bother us too much though.

The staff was friendly especially Fynn at the buffet breakfast who went above and beyond to ensure we were ok and well looked after. He also took the time to have a conversation and share his knowledge about Canberra. Thanks again Fynn.

Rude and inconsiderate guests not following the rules in the pool area as well as kids overtaking the spa. For a family room, the pull-out couch was uncomfortable and we highly recommend a replacement. Lastly, parking... We would recommend more parking options and a better parking system that can be fair to all.

Reception were helpful and stored my bag and helped me with the self-check in. I really like this feature. The pool sauna and spa were great but note pool is not heated. The room itself was comfortable and the bed was really comfortable. It was great having tram out the front and ezymart downstairs.

I was supposed to get free breakfast with my Genuis booking but the property did not record this in my booking and instead sent me an offer to upgrade for breakfast. I probably could have explored a bit further but ended up going out for breakfast.

The property was very modern. It needs to be upgraded. The beds are very uncomfortable and they need to show their staff how to make beds properly. The breakfast stuff were good except one lady of her stuff was rude as I have an autistic child she didn’t understand and kept giving me weird looks because I had to sit outside with my breakfast as the rest of my family sat at the table. Your staff needs to understand that some children cannot sit with crowds, and not give your customers looks as they’ll just sitting outside. Your room service stuff was excellent and room service was in timeframe within half an hour. Very happy with room service. Overall experience 8 and half of 10.

Location was fantastic , 200meter walk and you were at the shopping centre .

Beds were hard , couldn’t open window for fresh air so had to put aircon on 18 degrees all night . Second time I’ve stayed here and when checking in at reception it’s always such a slow process, definitely need to work on quicker check in. There is the option to check in via self check in which can be much faster if your room is ready. Unfortunately we got to our room and our kids pull out sofa was not made up and had to go back down to request it to be made and ask for 2 extra towels as we only were given 2 for 4 people , but they were onto it straight away.
