Unfortunately I tripped and fell in Apartment 305.The black hallway flooring that led to the bathroom which also had black flooring had a raised strip of metal between the hallway and the bathroom. It was extremely difficult to see this slight height difference and I fell head/face first onto the bathroom floor, hitting my head on the shower door.I suffered severe bruising, nose bleed and shock. The reception staff were very helpful and the manager phoned me.We were moved to apt 308A which had pale grey carpet leading into the black floor of the bathroom so it was easier to see the slightly raised entry.

The entry to the bathroom!

Great location. Street parking available just outside the main entrance but could be a challenge to get a free spot. Canberra Centre Car Park is just a few minutes away which is a great alternative ($3 parking all day on weekends!). We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and we were given 2 apartments with a shared door in between, which means we had access to 2 kitchens and 2 toilets. Awesome arrangement when travelling in a group.

Room key cards didn’t work the first 2 times, but staff was really nice and walked up with us to check the lock - turns out the lock was locked from the inside so it can only be unlocked with the staff’s master key. Fixed in 2 minutes.

The chap at reception was smiling and helpful - always a good start. The room was amazingly spacious and the kitchen equipped with all the necessities. We didn't need it this trip, but good to see a washer and drier in the apartment. It was well worth paying extra for parking under the building (limited number of spaces, so best to book). We were worried our dual cab ute wouldn't fit or negotiate the space, but it did. Location was excellent - right in the middle of the city, close to a major shopping mall and plenty of takeaway food places etc within an easy walk.

Would prefer not to be woken up at 7am by a street cleaner wielding a leaf blower, but I guess that comes with the mid city location. If we'd been unable to get on-site parking it would have been a major hassle to park blocks away.

Very clean and comfortable. The cleaners came to change the towels and make the bed after we left the room on day one. This was very nice to come back to. Plenty of space and extremely close to the shops and walking distance to parking. Staff were also very friendly and accomodating. Great value, would be happy to return.

It would have been great if breakfast was included. Even though my partner and I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, this would have been more convenient. Was also happy to explore cafes and it was great that there were recommendations provided in the room.

I had a studio room and it was very spacious. Its conveniently located to just about everything. Canberra centre shops are directly across the hotel. Canberra Theatra is a block away. Bus stop is a block away (R3 from airport about 25 mins) and main bus terminal a short walk away so easy to get around. Bathroom toiletries were MOR...smelt amazing! Kitchenette was sufficient. Lifts were quick.

My bed was a bit hard and the feather pillows too soft and flat. Found a regular pillow in the cupboard which was fine. That's really about it.

Great location. Close to shops, walking distance to the centre of Canberra. The facilities available in the room and the room space was great.

The room wasn't very clean. Strange smell, possibly coming from the drain in the bathroom. Mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. Stains on the curtains. Felt as if someone had just stayed there not long prior to our stay. Disappointing that we were unable to get undercover parking and the off street parking available was very limited.

Fantastic location right on City Walk. We caught buses everywhere to avoid driving in an unfamiliar city. Very quiet room and staff exceptionally helpful

Car park has a poor design with very tight entry and awkward parking bays. In future I will park in the shopping centre opposite. Apartment was mostly very clean except bathroom sink. I have stayed at many Quests and know they are usually spotless so just a case of a step missed in the process- it would not stop me staying there again in future

Spacious and clean. Well equipped kitchen for cooking when everything shuts down on Christmas Day! Receptionists are all very welcoming and lovely

There are outsiders (not guests) coming in and out as they please, which is annoying as they try to use the toilets at the conference area especially when I am working at mezzanine. Toilets are card protected, thankfully! One person even asked if they can borrow my card to use the toilets! Obviously I said no.

The location is just brilliant. If you want a city hotel, this is the one! Opposite the front doors is the Canberra Centre and to the left about a 3 minute walk are all the cafes, restaurants and bars. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, beautifully quiet and so functional with its own kitchenette. Staff were personable and very helpful. Have stayed in a few other hotels in the city previously, but this is my new hotel of choice- can’t wait to stay again.

Honestly it’s hard to find fault with the property. If I had to say something, and this is really trivial I know, the smell of the air freshener/ deodoriser throughout the common areas of the hotel is very strong- perhaps it could be toned down a bit?

Location was excellent, situated on the main shopping mall.

Reception is only open limited hours. I checked out for an early morning flight. Reception was closed. I had to put room keys in a box near reception and push a green button to open the exit door. Had I left anything behind in reception, I would not have been able to get back in. I waited for an Uber in the back parking area - the only area for Uber pickups. There was no-one else around. I am 72 years old. I just hoped the Uber arrived as booked and I was not harassed whilst waiting. The number of homeless men wandering around the mall near the hotel was concerning. So I did not like the fact that I had to check out alone and hope, hope, hope there were no issues.
