The 3 Reception staff during our 4 night stay were attentive, friendly and helpful. Compliments and thanks. The location in West Row is ideal for accessing Canberra CBD on foot. The one bedroom apt was spacious, clean and comfortable. The refurbishment of the iconic old buildings has retained pleasing architectural and decorative features. There is a large balcony with pleasing view. We had a carpark immediately behind the bldg or a very reasonable $20 per day. The nightly rate for the apt was very good value given its size and location

The cutlery and crockery provided in the kitchen was rather skimpy. It meant that dishwasher or use of the dishwasher was necessary more often than should be necessary for only two people.

Most things were very good. Good bed, good kitchen although we didn’t use electric stove at all. Good bathroom which was modern and efficient. The place was one of then older original 1930s building on central business are well located for shopping and restaurants etc. our room was facing rear courtyard and quiet.

Not much. The room had modern double glazed windows but no windows that opened so sometimes felt room would have benefitted with a little fresh air at times and the air con fitted appeared to be only recirculating type . Also, no fan in the ensuite bathroom , possibly to save energy in winter, although there was a small ceiling vent which didn’t do much. These items mentioned were not big problems at all. Overall very happy with room for 3 nights.

Each and every employee were pleasant, unobtrusive, and prompt, whenever we requested their advice and services. Great value and faultless, with their overall attitude when attending to our enquiries! The management and staff at this hotel carries the essential value of goodwill! Nothing negative experienced! All's Good!

My stay was only a quick overnight stay however the apartment was very clean and comfortable it would be perfect for longer stays. The Executive 1 bedroom apartment has a roomy bedroom with a very comfortable bed and en suite bathroom with a spacious walk in shower. The living area had a very comfortable sofa, TV and a dining table plus a desk area. The kitchen was spacious with everything you would need to self cater if desired it also had a washing machine This apartment had a large balcony with a table and chairs which was a lovely space. Perfect location with a bus stop at the door and lots of restaurants downstairs and a supermarket across the road. I will definitely choose this place to stay next time I visit Canberra.

Repeat guests, we like the excellent position when we come to Canberra for medical reasons. Close to buses, shops and eateries. There were basic but comfortable furnishings in our 1 br apartment, the bed was great, and supplies quickly replenished on request.

The walls were dirty and scuffed, detracting from the overall cleanliness of the apartment. We miss not being able to use a bathroom/ toilet to freshen up before catching the bus home late in the afternoon.

The location is brilliant. The rooms are perfectly good and very clean. I think they are still renovating- the kitchen and bathroom are new and were great. The furniture seems temporary and is perfectly fine. Parking behind the building was very convenient. The room lighting is excellent.

Unfortunately the lift was being repaired. I have a knee injury so that wasn’t great. I also missed having a small sofa or reading chair.

The location was perfect, situation in central Canberra next to the transport hub. Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Everything we needed for a short stay was there. Restaurants and bars close by with some lovely little bars upstairs and hidden away well worth finding. All tourist sites are within easy access either by car or public transport

for us there was nothing we didn't like and was great for price and locationn

Location and staff were amazing. I have never had such friendly staff at reception as this hotel. The reception people were always so friendly greeting us and always asking if they could help with anything. Great location central to everything.

Shower had great pressure however the tap was very touchy if you moved it, it was either boiling or cold. Also the shower screen had massive gaps so the bathroom floor got soaked.

It is close to the shops and restaurants downstairs, a 5 minute walk to the mall and 2 minutes to the light rail and Right next to the bus stops. If you’re looking for a Woolworth it’s outside of the city but they have a Cole’s in the mall. Staff were amazing helpful and had great attitude. Room is spacious and the balcony is great for relaxing and looking out to the street. It’s a convenience spot to stay!

The only thing is the soundproofing for outside you can hear people who are out and if the bus is idling outside you can definitely hear it. It’s a good place if you’re okay with the noise. This is a review for the balcony room.

Perfect and central location in walking proximity to good quality Bars, restaurants and museums etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking at the rear, very handy. Fantastic balcony for room 7. Excellent value for money.

Noisy lift while it's under repair - we were only 1st floor so we just used stairs. The odd bit of noise through the evening, from downstairs pub, but understandable if you want to stay in a central location like this one.
