Really comfy beds, amazing kitchen facilities with lots of separate areas, really good size lockers in the room (even had 3 plug sockets in them), nice games room, very clean bedrooms and bathrooms, showers even had an extra door inside to stop your stuff from getting wet! They also let me store my luggage behind the reception for free. Very nice staff and a great stay. 😊

Only issue was the pool table didn't work, but that didn't affect my stay!

The kitchen was well resourced and well set up.

A black African next to my bed (F) at room 309 spoke on his phone for over 30 minutes at 5am on 10/12/24. Multiple members of that room, along with me asked him to cease and desist. He ignored us. I later realised that he was wearing head phones and probably didn’t hear us. All of the members of that room (save for this man), were in bed and trying to sleep. This man woke up the whole room. He was incredibly insensitive. I went downstairs to complain, but found that the reception was not manned. I used this incident as my cue to leave the establishment. This incident ruined my stay at what was, otherwise, quite a pleasant experience.

Excellent in all aspects, really happy. Staff at the desk really good, and helpful. The guest app made comings and goings easy. I came to visit a friend on a budget and was able to easily see Floriade from this location. It is walking distance to bus, shops, supermarket, restaurants, extremely convenient. Also went on a mission to Parliament House to drop a letter to the PM

The school groups needed to keep the behaviour of the children on track, so they dont run around in and out doors, also with noisy behaviour at evening time. But that is the responsibility of the school leaders. Those leaders need to be reminded there are other guests too.

I like the friendly receptionist from different countries. They always have a good answer for the normal questions of a traveler. I like the nice staff in the cleaning department, they are helpful and with a kind attitude. I like the people who were at the time. respectful and friendly at the same time.

Well, Everything was great, I wouldn't mind to pay for the sauna or steam room. It is a great relaxing service. Due to travelling is stressful but if we could have that option to pay for a steam room session will be fantastic.

- The location it’s so great. - A big table and chairs inside the room was too helpful. - Light in the beds. - Garbage bins to separate and recycle inside the room. So good! - Bathrooms with changing room. - Big kitchen and space to storage your items. - Good wifi connection. - Easy check-in and check-out. - Separate men's and women's bathrooms (but perhaps implement the use of the digital key to enter these as well)

- Pots and pans: need to be replaced with new ones (and add some other utensils that are needed).

Great location, friendly staff and longer term stayers, comfy mattress. Very hot water in kitchen with excellent signage in reference to it. Goki entry system. Very quiet area.

Lack of cups and cutlery in kitchen. Vacuuming of room substandard. I cleaned around the legs of the table in my dorm after dropping an item and on picking it up, also picked up a tangle of hair. Tangled mass of hair around both front legs. Dodgy elevator which stopped on the 2nd day of my stay and was still out of order on the morning I left necessitating getting my bags down 3 floors of stairs at the bottom of which, on the last step, thank goodness, I fell. I did not report it to the staff.

Liked the location, the cheerful and helpful staff, the size of the room, the table and at least one chair, at least one bedside light and the cleanliness of the whole place.

Lack of furniture in the room to store clothes/ baggage or bedside tables. Lack of capacity to adjust level of heating in the room. Lack of character/ atmosphere in the room. Nothing on the walls. Lack of drinking glasses. Ideally we like even budget rooms to have a TV, decent bedside lights on each side, a sink and a small fridge.

Staff were really helpful. Good lockers in room. Power points inside lockers for secure charging. Showers had shelves for your products which was great, though the water temperature was either lukewarm or scalding with no inbetween. Great air con in the upstairs common room.

Could have used a shelf and power plug by the bed. Every door in this place slams shut, even the bathroom door. Super loud every time someone comes into the room or enters the bathroom. The room was a bit too warm with no visible temp control

Very clean and tidy, good bathroom facilities, helpful staff.

The only two things that did not work well were phone contacts - for example we rang to request and confirm late check in but never received a reply. For some reason the aircon was set to maximum so when we arrived late the room was excessively hot and as there was no control in the room I had to go down and ask the guy on reception to adjust it which he did but this was something I had to do every night. I don't understand why it was set so high.

I booked a bed in a 10-bed dormitory, with AC. The dormitory is very large, so you do not feel packed at all. The bed is a bunk bed, large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this dorm (and the entire hostel), as a male, you have access to pleinty of sanitories throughout the hostel (at least on the floor, 2 showers, 2 toilets, 2 sinks). All were clean. You also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, without oven. The common space is nice. The WiFi is good. 100m away from stop of bus 2 going to Canberra train station. 650m away from Coles supermarket. 750m away from Premier Motor Service bus stop. The staff (Francesca) is nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.
