The rooms very generous size and very clean. The location to inner CBD trendy food district of Lonsdale Street. Gym and parking facilities terrific. Marbel & Grain downstairs exceptional quality restaurant. The Chefs Special Butcher's Block was delicious. The best part was location to Canberra CBD, shopping, cinemas, great coffee, post office and officeworks (work needs).

Automated mini bar and being unable to move without being charged within 15 seconds. No room for own milk or goods. Staff can remove on request. Also didn't use gym as it was sadly too crowded in the morning

We were delighted to have been upgraded and hence had a room which exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable and well kitted out. The hotel more broadly was also comfortable and well kitted out with bar, restaurant, comfy reception lounge and so forth. Parking was an extra we paid for but we were delighted to find that it had a driveway which was not too neat and sensible sized parking spaces. The location was excellent and we were able to easily walk to bars, restaurants, the bus station and the War Memorial.

It sounds picky but there was a music system in the room but it didn't work and also there was something not quite right with the coffee machine that only produced a few mills of coffee at a time, regardless of how much water was in the reservoir and which button you pushed. It would have been fine if neither of these things were provided in the first place but annoying when provided and don't work properly.

Location was amazing. Short walk into Canberra City for shopping and restaurants. Stayed in a Superior King room which was OK but then moved to a 2 bedroom apartment which had laundry and cooking facilities (including an actual fridge as well as the fully stocked mini bar fridge). From the King Room, I did request they empty the bar fridge out (so that we could use it for medication and our own drinks). Bed was a little soft for my liking, you could feel yourself sink. 2bedroom had a DVD player and only free to air channels available. No ability to stream your own streaming apps (or that we could figure out) King room only had a TV and again no ability to stream our own apps. Gym on B2 was decent - used the treadmill, cross trainer and the weights. Didnt feel as dingy as other hotel gyms Staff were great, seamless transition from King Bedroom to 2 bedroom by opening up the doors in between. No door stoppers so I had to make do with shoving dish towels under both doors to keep them open.

Shower doors in both King and 2 Bedroom apartment were almost useless. The whole bathroom floor after each shower was completely soaked. While it didnt take long to dry out, still not ideal.

Location is perfect in terms of easy walking access to great cafes and restaurants in Braddon, and the main shopping centre in the CBD. Also close to public transport (buses, trams and taxis). The room was spacious and very comfortable; the ambient temperature was fantastic - it was around 4 or 5 degrees outside later in the evening, but we found we didn't need to turn the heating on, the room stayed a very comfortable temperature. Bed and bedding were great, though some may find the mattress too soft - we didn't mind it. Parking on site was also very convenient (though it's a tight turn in and out of the main gate so something for larger vehicles to be mindful of) and the check in process was seamless! :)

Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, comfortable bed, plenty of powerpoints beside the bed to charge devices, rooms have kitchenettes which is really handy, plenty of parking, all day room service menu is pretty reasonable (tenderloin steak and arancini are always good), parking isn’t overpriced, always give us a late checkout without additional cost

Still can’t cast streaming services to TV, our room this time had a horrible sewer smell (unusual as we’ve stayed here many times), room service breakfast menu has become more limited - no more eggs benedict :( The shower water pressure was terrible in this room (ground floor). Shampoo and conditioner aren’t as good as they used to be (very drying) recommend bringing your own if that matters to you. Minor niggles in what’s otherwise usually a great stay.

Great location! Walking distance to the centre with lots of foods and cafes nearby. There's a Maccas literally next door for your midnight hunger. We booked 2 rooms apartment during the Easter Holiday. Check-in staffs were amazing! They even prepared a little gifts and chocolates for the kids. The rooms are clean and neat and very spacious. We love our stay and would totally come back again for our next Canberra trip.

Some of the appliances were not working. We had to call reception for a new hairdryer that died, which the staff quicky brought up. The coffee machine was also broken (couldn't be bothered to call). Since we were there for Easter holiday, there were limited staff for service. Even when we put up the sign to clean, they missed it and had to call for them to come and refill the body soap and replace the towels. We understand that they're short staffs but with public holidays, they should probably be more prepared for more visitors? It's no biggie though, the staffs were still amazing in helping us with our stay.

Pros: huge bedroom, super clean, separate sink by fridge, robes, great location for being walking distance to both the city and ANU. Also super helpful staff: Gabriel was fantastic! I would definitely stay there again.

My only negative points of feedback are: 1: The mini-bar fridge; it's stocked with drinks and has special grooves for them, which makes it hard to fit in things of your own. 2: The system for signalling whether or not you want daily cleaning (button on door *and* sign you hang on door) could have been explained a little better upon check-in.

Great room and well located.

We were given a $10 voucher if we didn't need room housekeeping on a particular day. However they required a decision by midnight the night before. This seems unreasonable as the decision for housekeeping may be made depending on what happened the night before. Also the restaurant below made a fuss and refused to honour the voucher when I accidentally paid before I said I had a voucher. They made me go to reception to ask for a refund off the hotel bill which in of itself seemed an imposition to the staff there.

Size of the rooms and quality furnishings and fixtures. The kitchen was also well equipped whilst we did not use this it would benefit someone staying longer Bathroom was lovely with nice toiletries. It was a nice touch that you could nominate not have your room cleaned etc everyday with an added bonus of $ 20 food/beverage voucher to use in the excellent attached Restuarant Marble & Grain every time you chose this option. I was still able to get extra teabags from reception. Quiet, even though you are on light railway and fairly main road

Furniture on balcony was a little bit basic, table and two chairs, not overly comfortable

The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the location was perfect. Easy to access everything we needed. Short walk to lots of locations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including the brand-new staff member who checked us in when we arrived!

The only thing I didn't quite like was that the room we booked was said to have a balcony - it did, but it was tiny and looked directly into the rest of the hotel. It didn't matter, but it did not match the perception of what having a balcony means.
